I went through a tragic loss several years ago. I did not laugh and rarely smiled for a year. I am a born-again Christian, and yes, Jesus is my comforter, and he did comfort me in ways no one could, but it is a process. Some would say, you should be over this by now, and some would say, take as much time as you need. One day, I was at church worshiping the Lord. Something happened, and I don't even remember what it was, but I felt myself smile and laugh out loud. So much so that it drew the attention of others because they walked it out with me. Everyone is different. I'm thankful for all the family and friends who stayed closer than a brother or a sister to see it through. A merry heart does good like a medicine Jesus said. Not only does the word say that Jesus wept, It also says He laughs. Blessings to you both. ♥️

I went through 2 years of loss after loss. It has completely changed my life. If you ever want someone on your podcast that has dealt with a lot of loss in a short amount of time, id love to connect with other people that have had this happen. I lost my cousin, my best friend, my Mom and my nephew in a period of 2 years. When my nephew passed from leukemia, at my home, i couldn't get out of bed for 2 weeks.

I have watched John go through his painful journey and I'm glad he's beginning to come out the other side. I hope I never had to go through this. Love you John since 1978

I’ve lost a child! If it hadn’t been for my faith in God, I could have never have learned to cope with that!

Dee Dee I am like you, I.have a very hard time crying in front of people and do it alone. I always envied people that can cry in public. But it's not a good thing. And people don't judge you for it. It shows that you are human and that you care for your husband. Don't ashamed of it. John I admire you, by crying and doing all you do it shows exactly how much you love your wife. Dee Dee, you need to slow down your conversation and listen more. Don't interrupt him so much. We need to hear everything, both of you. Slow down! It's hard to listen because you're never quiet, be respectful.

Grief can be so crippling...your colaboration and openess will no doubt lift others out of their pain, even if momentarily and inconsistently until strength returns

God bless you both💗💗I lost my beautiful Daughter 10/2020 she was only 28. She had a Daughter and now my Husband and I are raising her. He is 66 and I’m 63! I have a beautiful picture of her close to me and I get to see her every day. Also I write in journals sometimes, especially when I don’t have someone to talk to.
I believe what my Bible says about Death and Hope. I know I’ll see my Daughter again one glorious Day!💗Thessalonians explains it from God’s perspective🥹☺️

I lost my soul mate 24 years ago this September. We met I was 14 he was 17. He passed at 49 and I still think of him everyday. Life goes on, but grief never goes away even though it gets easier.

I think it would be wonderful at some point if you included parents who have lost a child. I lost my daughter 5 years ago.this week and still miss her terribly. However, The last two years there has been a great deal of healing thanks to my faith, supportive friends and tears. The longing never goes away when you lose a spouse or a child. But with a desire to be happy and give of yourself to others you can start again. God’s blessings and good luck with your show.

Another Journey for you John, healing involves delving into all your experiences and reaching out to others. Expanding your experience and sharing life with others. The Mourning Show~ a quick read, that helped me years ago as a young daughter, when I lost my father ~ Elizabeth Kubler Ross on death and dying. Learn and experience and share and understand it all. I was 19, when I read her book. Look for understanding and also open your heart to joy. Little kids, their company-their innocence pull you through. Just the wonder of them~ open your heart. Congratulations to your new Album and your new path!
    Stay bright, stay shining~
    Look to nature
    And feel your memories.
It’s all good, keep going forward. God Bless!
Your Angel is Smiling, every time you find joy.
All the best to you & Dee Dee.
Crack a tear whenever your soul releases life sparkles. It’s fine
    Stay well :)

I don’t see them together. I think he needs someone softer and more caring. All she talked about was how he’s a cryer, like it’s a weakness in a person even while she is saying it’s ok to do so. I’m sorry she just doesn’t do it for me, She just can’t shut up and let him talk. I think she just wants to be seen. I’m not surprised there was only one mourning show, I’m not surprised that it never made it. This is the first I’ve ever seen her and I don’t think I’ll be watching for her again. I want better for him. MUCH BETTER.

,this wont last ,he will tire of her,she argues against him,im so upset he rushed into marriage which he is obviously bad about,Sge dont even know Roy Orbison sang Cryin ,why does she dress so crazy..She dont even let John talk

Their voices clash,i cant even hear John, her voice is giving me a headache,
She is not even considerate of him,she laughs when he is is trying to make a point, like he is stupid,I hate that when wives disrespect their husbands he should know she is used to how it was with Paul and his comedy sidekick

I lost over 25 people in two years one my father of 90years. I cried but I joked a lot cause I had to laugh or go nuts. I am a Vet. I learned how to handle some things but it took a lot of years before I could. Friends helped. Being an Aries I'm a fighter til the end. ❤❤❤❤ my faith is strong always. God gets me thru it all. God bless all.

It takes time to get over mourning, I lost my mom in 1999 and she was only 58 years old she passed away from a massive heart attack and in 2018 I lost my Dad so it's really hard because I don't have neither one of them but they are always in my heart
