Well i guess the first thing we need is that how much should we skill up to at least start the freelancing of course we are gonna learn more and more as we go further but what is the starting point. And as a NEW freelancer how to get clients and what should be the price. Another thing how should we develop our communication skill in a way that our clients likes to talk with us because even if you are good at your work If you are not a good at communication you might loose that one Client or on the other hand if you satisfy the client with your work and your way of communicating that might make him/her impressed and they even will recommend you to another person. also i wanna know that is it necessary to join any particular platform like fiver and freelancer or upwork like platform to be a freelancer can we do this on our own if yes then how? And one last thing I want to know is that how you started all this what was your journey what were the challenges you faced how you overcome them what mistakes you made when you started i would love to hear your story.. Thank you.

Hey Preston you may have already covered this... but heres my 10c worth 😁 1. How to establish a proper workflow for work to grow the business from Solo to Team. 2. How to create a CRM and Manage payment portals, as this is separate from Project Management. 3. Client Contracts how can we cover ourselves 4. Cold-calling strategies (non-sleazy) 5. We understand the riches are in the niches however, many of us have multiple skills and feel it is wasted when it comes to niching down. How can I capitilise from all my skills and experience?
Hey man! Thanks for addressing my question on the Podcast 😀 It was Super appreciated. I am close to soft launching a business that zones into ONE set of my skills, so it was good to have someone distill my initial thought process and reason for venturing down this road. For me it will a 5KM radius or 8.04KM radius 😉 Cheers

Hi Preston, nice to see Millo on UA-cam! I follow Millo since 2014 (Graphic Design Blender, then), I wrote for Millo and what's most important is that I owe a lot of my business success to this blog! Seriously! I like to read and listen to real stories, from real people who succeeded and made their dreams come true. So, as I 've told you a few years ago, what I'd like to know more about is YOUR success story!
Hey, Mania! It’s great to see you here. Thank you for all your amazing support at Millo throughout the years. It’s been a FUN ride. :) I like the ideas of real stories from real freelancers. Thanks for sharing. And as for my story (Preston) maybe start here: millo.co/podcasts/freelancetofounder?episode=how-i-finally-became-my-own-boss That’s probably the closest I’ve come to sharing it all. :) I’m a pretty private guy that way.
