My favourite feel good song. If you want to hear more from Majestica, check out Night Call Girl and Rising Tide. Majestica is an amazing band and very underrated imo
This is such a happy song and video. And you're right, you have listened to Above The Sky, a month back now. When they were all running around on an aerodrome. So with Eagles Fly Free fresh in mind, take a private re-listen to Above and hear the referenses. Fun fact, Tommy has a plug-in instrument to his keyboard that he can make the sound of all those other instruments with. His model is called Majestica, no reference to the band. He has a bideo on his channel demonstrating all kind of music he can produce with it. Like the organ etc he had in Phantom of the Opera. So he could add flutes or bagpipes if he wanted to.
Viking metal for you, a swedish band Brothers of metal. Their Yggdrasil are amazing, Prophesy of ragnarök and Berserkir are also great choises. Lyrics from norse mythology. Another viking metal band are All for metal, can recommend Born in valhalla 👍😀
We're all weird, anyway. C'mon - that's a precious thing these days! *Friday-people!* Always in love. =) My first listen to this one, and you made it for me! *Thanks, bud.* Keep it going!
Majestica are amazing, i always get in a good mood listening to them. Did you know Majestica’s bassist Chris David just started a new band, Wizdoom. He’s a bass wizard and also an amazing vocalist. Check out Way of the lost ans Doomed Fleet. Both damn good 👍 👍🇸🇪
I believe the whistling sounds are a keyboard effect. Fun fact: as talented as Tommy is...he cannot whistle! It's okay, though... bc he can bake cakes! Love this song, a tribute to the crews and roadies! And how fun to play on a raft in a lake?! Oh my bad...you did hear Above The Sky...so you should hear Tommy's 2pth anniversary remake of the ReinXeed (pron: Rain-Seed...that was Majestica b4 a name and label change) song, The Light...on his channel!
Haha Im better than Tommy on one thing I can even whistle sucking the air in , pretty good of cooking too but mostly to not cleaning and washing, really sucked on that!
What a happy and uplifting song! You wondered where the celtic influences in the song came from. I can't tell you for sure. But I do know that Tommy is heavily influenced by Gary Moore (who had a northern irish heritage). So my guess is Gary Moore was the influence!
@@KentLundberg-vb9hb Very true! I read in one comment of yours, that you have seen them live many times! You have also seen Gary Moore live. Let me tell you: Tommy would be jealous of you. Tommys biggest regret in life is missing out on his planned Gary Moore concert (his dad was sick and he didn't want to go alone). Shortly after that Moore died!
@@pernillaeriksson8594 Oh poor Tommy thats real heartbreaking, he must go back in his time machine. I will take him to the concert with Gary as supporting act to Queen, that was one of the best days in my life.
🤘🤘Wow now you are officially hooked on Tommy, three in a row, thats a addiction for life but the best one, carry on Ramsey!🎸🎼🎵🎹🎙🤘🤘
Thank you so much Kent 🙏
