Hi guys! In today’s video I’m showing you how I clean my makeup sponges. I’m sure I’m not the only one that keeps procrastinating washing their beauty blenders and sponges. I finally decided to wash them and they needed it because it had been a minute since they were cleaned. I share with you the best way that I’ve found to DEEP clean your beauty blenders and makeup sponges. When I say DEEP clean, I mean DEEP. This trick will have your sponges looking brand new. I keep seeing this...but I'm confused. Does the oil stay in the sponges? Why do they use oil? Also, oil and water don't mix so....? I need explaining lol
**Also, oil isn't good for the skin so, I don't want it staying in the sponge and getting on my skin. Should I worry about this?
I believe that the oil helps to break apart the dirt and old makeup inside the sponge but you do wash out the oil. The oil doesn’t stay in the sponge. It’s just part of the washing process. The soap and warm water get rid of the old
Makeup and the oil. 💖

My sponges will not dry out. They sort of just balled up like clay after my wash.
That’s interesting!! Maybe you need to squeeze the water out a little more.
My thought is the plastic/or whatever material they use melted from the boiling water. Maybe you have a different brand from the ones in the vid
They look like potatoes at first haha!
