What kills me is when she performed this the 2nd night, Carly’s band and backup singers walked off stage as she did her talk about the song... they then walk back out on stage all wearing blond wigs, the length of Carly’s hair. It was so good.
There are certain songs that I now can only listen to these live versions of, because of the little additions or changes that make them so much better, (to me,). This is one of them with the guitar, even if it is brief, it adds a whole new layer. Other songs are 'Let's Get Lost', which has an epic saxophone solo, (far better than the album version,) and 'Cut To The Feeling', which she changed the pacing of some of the verses and it had a better flow live. The crowd was incredible in some of the songs too, which added a lot. I will be posting most, if not all, of the rest of the songs from the concert over the next little while.
