If each movie is around 2 hours like the Mugen Train movie, it should suffice.

Not sure it will land. There's a lot of flashbacks and exposition for many events during the final arc that I don't think could be covered in a normal movie. Even if each movie was nearly 3 hours long, just feels like much of it would be rushed in terms of atmosphere. The quality of the fights are gonna be spectacular however but I'm not sure about character motivation and backstory reveals.

The movies all have to be at least 2 hours minimum, giving us the equivalent of 12 episodes in total. Not sure thats enough though
