We made it y'all 🙌🏾
Feel like this was all a crazy journey and I'm so stoked I can share this achievement with all of these killer homies! See you guys in the shred collab video💖
Lwandile!! You got this man! Your solo before was so sick! And this solo was amazing! Good luck!
Dude yesss! Your solo was amazing! 🤟🏾
Great work!
Really enjoy your solo! 🤩 Wish you the best 😎👍
Heyy man, you're awesome!!!
Bro yours was the best one out of the bunch!
Lwandile Prusant and Noah Crenshaw are my favourites! Both so unique. I love the unique flow Lwandile built and the whammy/killswitch integration on Noah was very musical
this captures my feelings perfectly. I'm gonna go with Lwandile for the win by a hair
Agreed
Yup seeing a lot of votes for these two, Corey was great too.
I was just surprised to see a South African that I have on Facebook playing on a Donmeister guitar. Those are built just down the road. Representing
Dead On
Congrats boys, we are just done with the warmup now, time for the big show! Let’s go! 😅🎉
Oni vai love youu
Loved it brother. I always admire your balance of melody and technique. We're proud of you.
@@KhaledMohammedAli Thank you so much brother, that was my goal, melody before shred!
🇧🇩 All the love and support for Guitar hero of our country our pride Oni Hasan ❤️
❤️We're always ready To support you bro!
Lwandile is truly amazing, what an incredible solo!
My favorite by miles. They were all very good, and somewhat traditional -- his take and left hand finesse were incredible, fresh, and unique. The only solo I wanted to hear multiple times.
The only one I liked
Yo no joke - Lwandile wrote the most tasteful and intricate riff I’ve heard yet. He stands out bc it’s not all shred. Which almost defeats the purpose of a shred comp 🤷🏻♂️
Lwandile is a different kind of guitar player. His approach is his own. Could be the next Tosin. All I can say is I would be pretty stoked if he was in my band. All of these guys are amazing though to be fair.
nah it was boring
I loved Luke's first solo, but damn...Lwandile absolutely killed this solo. Congrats to everyone! Can't wait to see the final shred collab.
Very shredy and so much feel... really loved it too!
I felt that Steve Vai level of skill in his solo. Very clean.
SAMEE
Yeah I eargasmed when I heard Lwandile Prusent - absolutely amazing!
Pretty sure they are heavily influenced by Berried Alive lol
Regardless of the outcome, I still think it’s crazy I even made top 10. Good luck to everyone!!
(EDIT)
I didn't even finish the video when I made my comment, so congrats to ALL players. I know we all worked extremely hard on our solos over the past few weeks and to see it pay off is beyond amazing! And big thanks to Jared for making this all possible!!!
my favorite solo by far u killed this dude
Great damn job man you are very creative hope you make it big
MY NEW DUDE
You got my vote, dayum.
man, you killed it! such creativity and amazing playing technique!
Lwandile Prusent is unique player. His skill is amazing and runs are so good. He deserves more recognition.
Everybody was just shredding, and he wrote a solo.
He’s not out there just mindlessly shredding but he’s doing something different which is noteworthy. It’s tasteful and extremely technical. What gets you noticed is standing out.
That said he probably stands out to people who really like mathrock/stuff like polyphia.
For real.. Lwandile was exceptional!
I got strong Animals as Leaders vibes from Lwandile's solo :D
Behold their Awesomenesssss
1:21 Jordan Wynn
1:44 Corey Smith
2:16 Tramaine Jonathan
2:38 Lwandile Prusent
3:11 Landon Siebens
3:34 Seth Grey
4:06 Luke Jeansonne
4:29 Noah Crenshaw
4:53 Oni Hasan
5:15 Syndrone
Lwandile, hands down. Incredible sound, outstanding solo, and quite unique as well.
I don't like that the video went blank. I mean I get the effect and all, but meh. He gave me Tosin vibes for sure.
Yeah he’s great all if you want more he’s from the band Vulvodynia there newest has him doing alot
Lwandile congrats! The best one out there. Looking forward to the complete shred collab video.
@RockandGameUSA if I remember correctly that's of his inspirations
Only because he is different it is not mean that he is the best :)
Thank you all so much for this opportunity!! So honored to be in this with all of these incredible players. Can’t wait to see the final video!! 🤘🏼
All of these were insane, but Noah and Lwandile definitely stand out the most for me. Just excellent style.
Noah was outstanding
Lwandile had those sick Animals as Leaders vibes. Tramaine and Syndrone's playing is so fast and clean. Luke and Noah getting after that Berried Alive style. So many different styles, but everyone killed it.
Noah Crenshaw still has my vote. Everyone is unbelievably talented, but he stands out in a flurry of notes.
the thing about his solos is that they are "very" Berried Alive sounding, but they still sound incredible
@@gh0stdem0n666 Actually he was wear berried alive clothes lol
@@gh0stdem0n666 it's just the techniques I choose to use. Nobody really uses killswitch and trem except for charles, and it's a fun technique to incorporate into your playing. It's hard not to sound like someone when you're doing the thing they're primarily known for.
@@song_surd I wore the shirt in my original solo to represent my favorite band to give them more attention because I know charles is probably not going to be participating in the shred collab :(
@@Noah_Crenshaw that's true, never seen any one else do what Charles does, and you did it very well amazing playing
Syndrone 100% Even a half of the solo would be enough to give you the vote. Keep on shredding dude!!! Insane melody. Every note can really be heard clearly.
Thanks so much!! 🙏
@@SYNDRONE Yes, agreed 100%. Your piece had the shred and the melody.
@@SYNDRONE Very cool my dude. Your shred skills are solid af. Some awesome ideas and very clean playing, that lick at 5:48 is awesome. Great tapping skills as well.
@@andrewkeen3129 Thanks, Andrew! :]
@@SYNDRONE killer, should put it on spot
In no particular order, Landon Siebens, Seth Grey, Oni Hasan.
But everyone here is super freaking talented and awesome!
Noah, Oni, Tramaine, & Lwandile. Awesome job by Every one of them.
I love that the Shred Collab has become a Christmas Classic, it really gives us something special to look forward to every year
Also gives us guitar players something to work for
Oh yeah always looking forward to these
I'm so happy for Syndrone - I've really fell in love with his playing over the last month. It's exactly what my ears and brain need.
Thanks, Joel! 🤘
@@SYNDRONE your solo was sick dude \m/
@@luizcarvalho4245 I appreciate it, mate! 🙏
@@SYNDRONE Thank you, Syndrone. Still listening to Chaos Mechanics. Keep doing what you love.
@@helios8369 Whooo, glad someone is still listening to CM! :D
Congrats to Seth Grey on that soul , and Oni got me in the shred collab IV.
Grats all, killed it! Tramaine, Seth, Oni nailed it for me especially.
Top 3:
1: tramaine Jonathan
2: Lwandile Prusent
3: Seth Grey
Props to all who entered! This was a tough decision for me. Especially the #3 spot. Cause everyone had their own strengths. I could probably reduce to a top 5 but top 3 is more challenging and fun haha. #1 spot still feels a bit clear winner here for me. Though a LOT closer this time around. Glad you are going to include all of them!
We have a same list, but i have to put lwandie in the first place. Its so unique and different to others, so refreshing
@@paulgilbert3139 yeah it was a close second for sure, but still something about Tramaine that stands out for me with his style and technical ability. I can totally see how some people would put Lwandile first though. almost preference of style in a way.
Tramaine and Lwandile's were both immense, super unique styles
Immense is the perfect word
Seth Grey, Oni Hasan and Syndrone FTW 🤘
I was rooting for Luke and Oni since I've seen their applications for the first time and I'm so happy they made it here!
But also, I didn't really enjoy previous Syndrone solo, but this one, especially the second half, literally just made my day - it instantly gave me some oldschool console game vibe! Like, some jrpg game battle theme or something like that. I'm so impressed!
Glad you liked this one more than the other solo! 🥳
Dragonforce vibes
Lwandile, Oni and Syndrone killed it for me. Loved the melodic solos.
My picks as well
Exactly my top 3, in that order
Agreed. In that order. Lwandile’s tone was amazing!
At first i thought it was abasi
Oni Hasan & Tramaine 🙌🏻🎸 You guys are absolutely amazing. Lots of melody in your playing
Congratulations to both my buddies here ❤
Tramaine, Lwandile, Seth, Noah, and Luke all gave me exciting things I've never even heard before.
Tramaine , Oni , Seth 🔥🔥
I am so glad that Spiro Dussias got included. It seemed like most viewers didn't vote for him, but his selection of keys and scales were out of this world, I loved it!
Yay for Dussias🤘
Seth and Luke killed it !
Tramaine, Oni Hasan and Siebens……. mind blowing and incredible stuff. Insane talents!
Jordan and Tremaine killed it.
Oni’s was an absolute vibe as well!
Damn, this is insane. I'm so grateful to be a part of the conversation here ❤️ everyone in this contest has been so badass! I wholeheartedly and happily accept the invitation to join the big shred collab this year, this is a big win for all of us! Thanks again Jared!
Congratulations!!! So stoked to see the final final product. Great solo on this one also.
you're the winner in by book sir
Love the solo also the ESP guitar is beautiful
Congrats Jordan!
Seth Grey is wanted on multiple counts of murder
One for every note he played cus damn he slaughtered that!
Bro the last one goes so hard i've listened to it 4 times
1:22 Jordan Wynn
1:43 Corey Smith
2:16 Tramaine Jonathan
2:38 Lwandile Prusent
3:11 Landon Siebens
3:34 Seth Grey
4:07 Luke Jeansonne
4:30 Noah Crenshaw
4:54 Oni Hasan
5:15 Syndrone
Noah Crenshaw and Oni Hasan were the best. I’m glad they all get to be a part of the shred collab though. That’s sick. Oni Hasan’s solo was so awesome. So melodic and the only one with emotion flowing through it. Great fucking Job, Oni!! 👌👌
Also agree with you❣️
Oni Hasan was the only one who used Major Key in his performance, which was kinda refreshing amongst tons of harmonic minor tapping, arpeggios, roller coaster, tumany notes guitar awesomeness. Kudos to all 10 dudes. Looking forward for new shred collab and thank you Jared for making this possible. I just wish i had courage to submit my video, well maybe next year.
yes, but Oni was one of the only ones that used a premade backing track everyone else wrote their parts, which was part of this part of the competition. To showcase your compositional skills.
So happy to see most of my favorites from the last video made it to the Top Ten! And I'm especially excited to hear that you're inviting them all to join in the shred collab. Congrats to all 11 winners and I can't wait to hear what you'll do in the collab!
Noah Crenshaw did such an amazing job. actually blown away by whats possible nowadays with tones, killswitches and floating bridge stuff. simply blown away
Badass
There’s a reason these guys are the top ten. There isn’t a single dull moment in this entire video, pure innovation and talent just melting all of our faces off. I’d honestly include all ten of them in the final shred collab at this point 🤘🏻
FACTS
Prusent has such a unique style. Fucking love literally every single on of his solos on their newest album. Instantly recognizable sound.
All I know is 4:07 Luke Jeansonne battled the final boss and won. Then 4:30 Noah Crenshaw played the victory redemption music.
Those two back to back was brilliant.
I'm so stoked that the 3 I initially liked the most from the top 20 vid made it in the top 10, and congrats to all the winners as well as everyone who submitted an entry throughout the contest! It was so awesome and inspiring watching so many different shred/solo renditions on the same backing track, and then watching the top 10 vid all with different style solos and backing tracks! Looking forward to more content as well as improving myself as a guitarist too, I'll continue practicing to try and reach all of y'all's level \m/
Seth Grey’s solo is absolutely amazing!!!! so many emotions combined with absolute shredary!!!
Oni Hasan’s one also stood out because If I remember correctly it was the only one completely in major…
even his face was in major
@@estebanpaz4909 LMAO, Truth!
Seth is my winner. Virtuos, yet musical and soulful.
Simply amazing! Congrats to everyone! Looking forward to see that shred collab!!!
Man I'm not sure the last time I was this stoked for a UA-cam video to come out.
Probably going to be the coolest Christmas present this year for sure.
Thank YOU Jared for making this happen in the first place, we love it.
Feels so good to be here! Congrats everyone we made it!! 🥳 🥳
Everyone did such a phenomenal job!! Holy hell!! You guys are amazing!! So glad that you all are going to be a part of the shred collab video, well deserved!!
Awesome! That's so cool that they're all going to have this opportunity! Congratulations to all of the finalists! You all were amazing and definitely deserve it! I'm even more excited for this year's shred collaboration!!
That's awesome everyone gets to be in the shed collab I've been waiting since the last shed collaboration was uploaded.
Noah and Oni were my favorites. Noah absolutely killed it with the whammy bar and Oni just great phrasing. Everyone was awesome.
My vote goes to Luke Jeansonne, the way he plays around with the whole tone scale tapping around it, is very impressive, and i would say is the most unique, honorable mention to Lwandile i love his tone and the hooks on his solo are memorable.
And the same goes for Noah Crenshaw, yes he's very skilled but if you check Berried alive and Charles Caswell it sounds like the same guy is playing even the guitar tone identically the same.
@@HuqNaTotodon’t know if I’d say identical but he’s definitely an influence of mine
i was a huge fan of seth grey, especially the guitar tone! super cool to have everyone in on it!
Man they’re all awesome 🙌 like how do you declare one of these the best without a personal bias? They all have their own style and feel!!
Luke and Noah absolutely killed it, both are extremely original compared to the others. Where the others did an amazing job at writing, Luke and Noah did an amazing job at being unique.
It’s a good thing we all have assholes ! I mean opinions !
I agree but there was something about Seth as well.
I agree those two are mad and so unique. Others are good but they dont stand out, no memorable melodies and dont have strong structure
Original?
lol sounds like bog standard "modern guitar".
It seems that Noah is a big fan of BerriedAlive and Luke a big fan of Ring of Saturns XD,but ofc their solos sounds pretty good
Can't wait for the final product!!!! Good to have you back Jared!
Congrats to all. Corey Smith - loved that playing! Well done.
I'm really looking forward to this!
Congratulations to all of these amazing artists!! Can't wait for the Collab, everyone did an outstanding job and are truly gifted at their craft. That being said I am so proud of my son in law Jordan Wynn for making it in. He really is gifted and deserves this kind of exposure. Thank you Jared for being so fair and giving these great artists this opportunity. As a metal head from the 80's, I am so happy to see that metal is still alive and well!!🤘🤘
CONGRATULATIONS to the all top 10 contestants specially, Oni Hasan. You made us proud again. Can't wait to see you in the final video with the all other legendary guitarist. Love from 🇧🇩
Syndrone still on the top of my list, I love how he made a melody, always tasty
Cheers man! :)
Really excited in the upcoming shred collab!
I audibly yelped when you said you invited Spiro!!!! I couldn’t be more proud of that dude! Absolutely amazing playing from everyone so far!
So glad Landon made it to the top 10!
Wonderful new solos from the top 10. They all deserve to be in the shred collab. Congrats!👍🍻
Way too cool, Jared! Congrats to all top 10!
Spiro, Noah, Lwandile, Tramaine, and Oni gonna be in the shred collab! Awesome y’all killed it!
And youre choosing three?! SO difficult. But Tremaine, Lwandile and Seth! The FEEL and technical ability. Every single one was amazing, but wow, those three stand out.
Yup these three were my top as well because of feel and technical ability. Just wow.
Can't wait! Thanks bro 🤗
Tough call, I would have say either Oni or Syndrone, both struck a chord with me....ha.
This has been so fun. Tramaine, Seth and Noah were my favorites this time but all were so fun to watch.
dude this is amazing! syndrone's solo looks like the opening of the shred cllab anime haha, those who did it best for me in this final have been, syndrone, noah, lwandile, tramaine and seth
Wow, everyone in this video was killing it! Lwandile and Oni especially so to my ears. Awesome!
The last 3, wow. They are truly on a different level.
Again Corey Smith at 1:45 stands out original sound with tons of character!
❤️
Tramaine and Luke were great. It is awesome Syndrone is here too. His albums are incredible and still blow my mind every time I listen to them.
OMG! Thank you Jared for highlighting the guitar community talents!
For me, there are 50 winners because they were featured on your big audience channel!
I really appreciate the way this has developed.
Gonna watch them now :)
Tremaine, Luke, and syndrone killed it!
1. Tramaine kill this game 🔥
2. Lwandile perfect beauty
3. Syndrone perfect energy
Syndrome-- good God, 31 Fret, 7 String guitar. He's got my vote for the most interesting melody and arrangement.
I didn't expect that!!! All of them are amazing 🤘😤🤘
Loved Seth Grey’s atmospheric solo. Could feel the energy radiate. Cracking performance. One of ten incredible solos. Well done all and to Jared for pulling it all together. Definitely a great contest.
Thanks!
@@SethGreyGuitarist hello, did you make the final 3 spots? Hope you won !! Thanks rock on🤘🤘
I was sad seeing Spiro was not in the list and then the plot twist !! So happy for him, this dude is a beast.
Congrats to the 10 finalists and all the shredders !!
All of the contestants are phenomenal players. With that being said, I was very disappointed to not see Spiro Dussias in the top 10 but was very happy when you extended the invitation for another opportunity for him to show his talent. Thanks Jared, great channel.
Congratulations to all. I bet it will be the best shred collab ever. Proud of you Oni Hasan. Continue the journey for Bangladesh.
It's absolutely insane how anyone can even choose. ALL of them were insanely good especially when they were given a little more freedom with their choices.
Syndrone absolutely killed it!
EDIT: Reading the comment section, it's shameful that most people didn't watch the video until the end and are just commenting mindlessly.
Thanks, again! : )
Bro Jared, you are such an awesome person. Thanks for this
Glad all 10 get to join! All of them are incredibly talented and deserve the exposure.
These were all amazingly epic but my top 3 have to be
1) Syndrome
2) Lwandile Prusent
3) Oni Hasan
The melodies just killed it
Lwandile is on 🔥! Reminds me of Stanley Jordan. All of you guys are awesome. Your shredding gives me goosebumps.
Haha that's an interesting name to bring up, the legendary Stanley Jordan :)
Lwandile, Syndrone or Seth for me.🤘🤘🤘
Im most impressed with Syndrone he plays complex stuff effortlessly. My 2nd pick would be Alon Tamir or maybe a close tie for first.
I can't just choose one, so my 2 picks are:
1. Syndrone's solo was awesome, and the later half of the solo gave me some avenged sevenfold vibes
2. Noah Crenshaw's solo was a djent masterpiece
I dig Noah's playing but the sound is super thin.
Wouldn't say Djent, but nice solo. I'd say syndrone's solo was the best
I was going to say, Syndronne - looks like Robb Thomas, plays like Synyster Gates :)
All amazing players and I'm super stoked to see more of these guys, especially Luke and Noah. Really enjoyed Seth Grey's energy too, and just wanna throw it out there that someone should give him a shampoo commercial.
Helll yeah all shredded hard! So stoked about Spiros getting in too his was my favorite!
Congrat to all! All of you are amazing guitarists!🤟🤟🤟
