Hi Arun, If you want to get into software testing, its better not to see them as seperate roles as both skills are required to be a good and efficient tester. Nowaday's the gap between manual and automation is reducing so you will end up doing both in any project. Start to learn testing concepts first and then start with automation. Hope this helps!
