I know it sounds stupid but do you ever just have those songs that you associate to yourself so much that you're scared to listen to them with other people or listen too-frequently to them during a bad time in your life incase you build an association between that song and that person or time? I've had a lot of my favourite songs soured that way because I accidentally built an association with them and an ex or a negative time and now can't listen to them without thinking about that. This song is so pure for me and I try to only listen to it occasionally and when I'm by myself.
