Kigoz4Life well man he is probably best of this generation. Just too much fresh music from him, its like the born of new freddie mercury, i think he has chance to be best musician one day
I saw Ben twice live, and those two times were the best times of my life. I'm not kidding. When you see him live, the music consumes you, it's like you live in it, and it just gives you an intense feeling of happiness. I have been to many concerts but I have never experienced that feeling before, like the music is literally in your body. It's just overwhelming, you don't want it to stop like ever. He's a damn genius, he deserves much more recognition.
LenaAyugi I was lucky enough to catch Ben Howard for the first time last night in Cape Town, South Africa and I can 100% relate with what you are saying. His live performance was unbelievably spellbinding!
This is a strictly personal opinion... but in my eyes, with all of the great artists and amazing music they created that i know of, Ben Howard is the best artist i have ever witnessed.
Never in my life had I ever LOVED all of an artists songs. Then I discovered Ben Howard. Never in my life had I been able to listen to the same artist/songs constantly for months on end and never get tired of them. Then I discovered Ben Howard. Never in my life had I ever loved someone's music and talent so much that at the same time I'm in love with their music, I absolutely hate them for being so god damn talented. Then I discovered Ben Howard. He's easily become my favorite artist since I discovered him about 2 years ago. The lyrics of his songs, the phenomenal music that goes with them and his outstanding voice is the epitome of what a true and talented artist is.
SuretteC86 I was tearing up and then seeing him scream that bridge lyrics away from the microphone. I could tell he was hurting on stage feeling the same. I saw it and it all just came rushing in a wave.
This performance was slated back in 2014 - Apparently Ben was late coming on and, as you can see, only played new songs. It's weird listening to this now as it's actually a really great set, it was just very odd at the time as a lot of this material was unheard - All people wanted to listen to was Every Kindom. Ben made a huge sound move between Every Kingdom and I Forget Where We Were, but looking back, I'm so glad he did!
I was lucky enough to win the fan ticket giveaway to this gig I never realised it got put here. Such an incredible night, I think the knowledge that a lot of people there didn't know his music (there was quite a lot of talking even during the songs I think) made him retreat into himself more than usual. Honestly though that might have made the performance even more real. Somehow my music taste grows so that whenever Ben releases something new it's exactly what I want to listen to. Very grateful for this man and his band.
Nick Cave once said somewhere in an interview that sometimes in the gig, everything clicks together, something magical happens ... and everyone can feel it, musicians as well as audience ... after seeing this from Ben & his crew, I know what Nick was talking about.
Ben Howard and Jack Johnson are the best artists alive. Their music have such a beautiful and touching power. I truly believe that those songs could save people.
He played it as part of his encore for his noonday dream tour in Cardiff. It was absolutely amazing but everyone around me was going mad because he didn't play any of every kingdom haha
I'm not attracted to new artists easily. Generally only listen to big classic greats. But this guy is truly genius. I can't get over how talented he is, his music is extremely moving, so glad that the young generation of today are being treated to something so pure. + India Bourne of course, I officially have a crush on her.
"Sick and tired Oh I begged for the world to change But it don't No, it ain't all you and that's the thing" I don't know any other lyric that moves me like this peace. So true but hard at the same time. But thats what I love Ben for...
"Rivers in your mouth" is and will always be a lyrical masterpiece. Seriously the way this man handles words is just mind blowing. Also. It is basically the musical counterpart to Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
This album is so good. I love the path Ben Howard has taken, he could have easily released another pop album and gain even more fame (not unlike Ed Sheeran did with "X"), but he instead released a dark, moody, electric-sounding album that is even better than "Every Kingdom". Kinda reminds me of Radiohead's "Kid A" after "OK Computer".
It’s a very rare occurrence when an artists music makes me emotional simply because it is breath taking. Ben Howard’s voice and talent take me to a whole new world, when I listen to him I have no worries in the world
Ben Howard is a musical poet, that is the best I can describe his work. Lyrically, instrumentally, he is a world class poet! There is so much depth and meaning to everything he creates, and it all flows so masterfully together in the arrangements; that is what music should sound like as art! Every Kingdom was his work with imagery and metaphor, IFWWW is his work with free verse and tone. The only other artist I can think of like him is Paul Simon, and I hope Ben Howard will be recognized at that level, because he is only 27 and he already deserves it.
I am happy that I found the song that woke up me this morning in my dreams ... I forget where we were . I'm glad I can hear this song whenever I want 💕❤️
been forturnate enough to see ben and the band live twice in vancouver. Small things and all is now harmed have got to be my favourite - glad this quality video exists!
Time is Dancing (Glastonbury 2015) extra lyrics: "I am still not free No the man still stands over me I have food that I can eat But the man paid the poison on my seed I am tired and I am weak But my hands they are soft and they are clean Do you really believe That a savior is gonna do it all for free? In my hour of disbelief I lost the means I need I am still not free No the man still stands over me I am tired and I am weak But my hands they are soft they are clean I have things that I can be But my mind is a weight of centuries But my mind is a weight of centuries But my mind is a weight of centuries"
I simply love this performance from start to end. Power emotions engulf me - simply the whole spectrum of emotions. That is what I consider sheer brilliance in a performance.
He is the equivalent of modern classical music, there is so much variation and brilliance in his work, this is the new kind of musical genius. He is a bit more like a romantic composer though (Schubert, Mendelssohn, etc) as he can play an instrument masterfully as well as compose wonderful music.
Amazing. Had an opportunity to see Ben Howard live earlier this year when his tour stopped near my town, but didn't go. I'm really hoping he tours the US again next year.
I wonder if the crowd realised they just saw the best artist of this generation...
Kearress I also wondered that, he will be the biggest in the history of the world
RandersProduction dont exaggerate lmao, he is insanely good but not the best ever
Kigoz4Life well man he is probably best of this generation. Just too much fresh music from him, its like the born of new freddie mercury, i think he has chance to be best musician one day
lmao get real... He is one of the best but dont even compare him to Freddie.. wtf
Kearress He's second in my opinion, Justin vernon is number one :D (imo don't get mad anyone)

LenaAyugi I don't think he wants too much recognition. But i agree with you. One hell of an artist
LenaAyugi i agree with yr comments 100% but unfortunatly not everyone can appreciate music on this level the mans a genius = )
v10dave Yeah that frustrates me so much:)
LenaAyugi I was lucky enough to catch Ben Howard for the first time last night in Cape Town, South Africa and I can 100% relate with what you are saying. His live performance was unbelievably spellbinding!
LenaAyugi i will see him this Saturday. cant wait
I'm fourteen years old and I strongly believe this is the music my generation should be listening to.
Joanne Riley miraculous girl. rap/twerk is like EW.... evolutionary throwback dance EW....
I'm 16 and YES ! There's so much crap out there these days, but I believe this is the real stuff ❤️
+Joanne Riley I'm a hundred and I don't care
I don't think they have to.. But their life would be so much closer to perfection 😜
+Joanne Riley Thank God
There is hope for our youth.
Keep going your own way and you will go far!
This is a strictly personal opinion... but in my eyes, with all of the great artists and amazing music they created that i know of, Ben Howard is the best artist i have ever witnessed.
swear to god his music and energy while playing takes me to a different planet. no other artists have ever done that for me. ben howard is amazing
I agree Jordyn. In many ways, this is not only an emotional experience but a physical experience. Brilliant, at the least.

End of the Affair... pure emotion pouring out of Ben in that Song!
SuretteC86 I was tearing up and then seeing him scream that bridge lyrics away from the microphone. I could tell he was hurting on stage feeling the same. I saw it and it all just came rushing in a wave.
Yassss
Ben's reaction at the end of End Of The Affair shows just how much his music means to him
Man, I don't think I could keep it together if I actually heard Howard sing "End of the Affair" live. Absolutely powerful.
We have the same last names in different languages :) Mine is Lavrador
It's just a new level of depth.
i… Thank you, Ben.
Larysa Yamshchykova his new album is next level
Yep, depth over distance every time...

Only a truly broken heart and tormented soul can creat such beauty
Agreed!
probably also to understand this music one has to have experienced some stuff... i did

Seeing this man live is on my bucket list!
He stirs and soothes my tired soul.
I seriously need to go see this guy he has actually changed the way I listen to music!
Listening to Ben is like hearing music for the first time...
Nick Cave once said somewhere in an interview that sometimes in the gig, everything clicks together, something magical happens ... and everyone can feel it, musicians as well as audience ... after seeing this from Ben & his crew, I know what Nick was talking about.
This is one of best live shows of Ben Howard band ever recorded.
Ben has just increased his music. Speechless
Ben Howard and Jack Johnson are the best artists alive. Their music have such a beautiful and touching power. I truly believe that those songs could save people.
This version of Time is Dancing is so much more different and calmer than the rest. Beautiful set!
wow Evergreen is just incredibly beautiful live, he should play it more often
He played it as part of his encore for his noonday dream tour in Cardiff. It was absolutely amazing but everyone around me was going mad because he didn't play any of every kingdom haha
By far the best Ben Howard-performance I've seen. All Is Now Harmed just knocks it off perfectly!
I'm not attracted to new artists easily. Generally only listen to big classic greats. But this guy is truly genius. I can't get over how talented he is, his music is extremely moving, so glad that the young generation of today are being treated to something so pure. + India Bourne of course, I officially have a crush on her.

“And you told me life was learning how to be your friend” my favorite line ever written.
I want to dedicate this to one of my best friends. She is about to leave us in the most brutal way. We’ve always had this in common.
I love you, pal.
Think that Conrad might now be favourite BH song. Possess such an inspiring gift.
I Forget Where We Were is an amazing song, how amazing this guy is
So happy he opened with Time is Dancing, the best song
By far the best performance/version of time is dancing
Amazing, out of words
End of the affair blew me away
"Rivers in your mouth" is and will always be a lyrical masterpiece. Seriously the way this man handles words is just mind blowing.

I seen Ben Howard live. I never thought it was possible but he sounds better in person.💙
Listen to him and reunited for a time with myself.
This is one of the best live artist performances I have ever seen.
"End of the Affair" is the end of discussions, guys... Music can't get any better! ...and... "All is now harmed" by Ben's art! :)
He is the greatest songwriter of the last 15 years.
My favorite thing to do.. Just sit here and listen to his music.
47:24 --> rawest expression I've seen in a while from a musician.
extraordinary nice voice and riffs, excellent!!
They're not only riffs, they're art!
This music just fills in positive energy
i said it once before and ill say it again! his music peace for the mind and soul
The end of the affair is one of the must dark emotional songs i have hear. So powerful, so much pain. Cutting through the soul. So beautiful Also.
One of the best of this generation
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a better performance of Rivers In Your Mouth. Absolutely stunning!
It's an out of body experience seeing this live, swaying with the crowd, totally one with the universe
Easily one of the best if not the best performances by Ben and company!! This is just pure ear candy!!!!!!

This is one of the most beautiful things i've heard.
THIS MUSIC SYMPHONIZES MY ENTIRE LIFE

Hannah Helmholdt So am I :(
Incredible... Ben Howard is by far one of the greatest song writers ever. ❤️
I don’t understand how some people can say this music is boring... I just get pulled in and lose touch with reality for a bit
...they dont dive in, they stay on surface. its sooo deep. its ok if they dont wanna dive they miss the whole ocean... :)

TIME IS DANCIN! ! ! ! ♥️
Time is Dancing (Glastonbury 2015) extra lyrics:
"I am still not free
No the man still stands over me
I have food that I can eat
But the man paid the poison on my seed
I am tired and I am weak
But my hands they are soft and they are clean
Do you really believe
That a savior is gonna do it all for free?
In my hour of disbelief
I lost the means I need
I am still not free
No the man still stands over me
I am tired and I am weak
But my hands they are soft they are clean
I have things that I can be
But my mind is a weight of centuries
But my mind is a weight of centuries
But my mind is a weight of centuries"
I just cant get enough of this.
One of the best artists of all time
One of the few amazing current artists

You've never really heard Ben Howard unless you've seen (whether on video or in real life) a live performance.
absolutely authentic and excellent
He is just excellent. I'd love to see him perform one day.
The amount of love I have for Bens music is indescribable, saw him live last weekend and nostalgia is already hitting me hard.
India is such a an important part of Ben’s live sound….
He is a Very Very Special Artisit indeed. So glad I had the chance to catch him live, can't wait for further Music from Ben & Co x
What a great combination they all make too. Utmost trust in each other.
Listen to that beautiful silence
