Oh my gosh I love this song for so much time! This group should have been more known on the other side of the Atlantic!
To all the bashers & critics, be the one to replace JR and let us see if you can do the same like JR's voice. Dont you think this man works hard to stand infront of the people just to continue the band's legacy. Respect him, or replace him and let us see if you can do better than his performance.

I know he's not the original but Jr left the band to try something, dishwalla wants to go on and they found a new vocalist who is also a good singer. be open minded. this guy can perform and I'm happy I could still listen to dishwalla and you can listen to your jr.

sorry dudes, we came for JR in 1995 and we left with him when he went. his voice and his voice alone was the one thing that made you guys more than just some other Californian rock band. do yourselves a favor, stop using the Dishwalla name. see what you are beyond it as artists. stop pretending. because this is truly sad to behold.

There's magic from the combination of all these guys - I prefer the Dishwalla stuff to JR's solo music - but there's also something quantifiably Dishwalla missing now that JR is gone, and it just seems strange to go on using this name. Then again, it's probably just smart business decision on their part. People at least know the name Dishwalla.
This new singer sounds like Neil Diamond. ...not a fit for the Dishwalla sound. They might as well be a cover band. Sorry...still love the original lineup...but perhaps Dishwalla may need to reevaluate. There is such thing as brand death. Time with no new songs can do that. Also, picking the wrong frontman can do that. Shop around. There are still beautifully sounding, unique vocalists with stage presence out there...and music is dead right now...so if some great bands like Dishwalla can simply find another singer with the charisma of J.R. and a presence that at least competed with what he had...I mean, c'mon...I know it's hard to match J.R.s rich textured, full quality voice...but this here wasn't even an attempt. I can go to a karaoke bar to find this.
