Best tutorial of the four I watched while fixing my computer, a whole bunch of options, back to back. Also, for people watching trying to fix your computer, don't skip one of the fixes just because it doesn't seem like the likely culprit. I hadn't updated my computer in the past few weeks, yet what finally fixed it was uninstalling the quality updates (fix #8).
I was starting to lose any hope of getting my machine back. I read one of the early comments recommending you plug along and try each of the fixes, and for them it wasn't until about step 8 that they were successful. I did the same. It wasn't until I rolled back the last quality update that I was able to get my machine back. Many thanks for the detailed step-by-step approach to recovery.
Hey I actually fixed it Let me explain I used the method at 4:12 No other method from any video worked for me, if that's the case for you ,you gotta try this In that you have to take command prompt and type that chkdsk /f /r c: (The c in the end specifies it is for c drive) This takes a couple of hours ,it seems kind of stuck sometimes ,but it's not ,it just takes time So just put the computer in charging and put a cooler fan ,if you have any , under the laptop to prevent over heating,as this is a long process ( Or just keep it near an ac or something ) Once it is finished you may probably see that it shows they removed some files from the drive ,which seemed as the trouble makers In this video , he just said to do this for C drive ,however I actually did this for the rest (E,D &F) too by just typing the respective drive in the end of the same code (chkdsk...) instead of C Altogether it takes a lot of time Like I started with C drive at 9 AM in the morning and completed all 4 at about 6PM in the evening After everything is done , just type exit to exit the command prompt and click the "turn off pc" option And lastly after that, start your computer again by pressing the power button In my case it started normally as before with all problems solved Maybe run some anti virus scans and upgrade them just in case to avoid such situations in future Would love to know if this worked out for anyone Good Luck mate
i tried the startup repair, chkdsk, system32 config. the chkdsk was the longest wait, took me 2hrs with no result. Thank you so much, man! you saved me a lot of heartache if ever i were to wipe clean my drives!
Hope this helps someone... None of the options in the video helped me ☹️ I finally remembered another problem I had a while back and I was told to unplug everything from the computer (power cord, any usb stuff, etc) and then hold the power button for at least 30 seconds. I held it for more than a minute and plugged just the power cord back in and tried to power it up. It took a few but everything is working fine now. I did get a couple of messages about an update not installing properly and something else but don’t remember what the other one was but to have my 8 month old computer back working feels so great!!!
Thanks! This comment made me realize I had some extra usb-c connected to my pc usb slot in the back! Love you P.S. this isn't sarcasm lol I actually had a USB C adapter connected that was causing the issue.
Just wanted to say thank you this helped me. I did the second method to chkdsk the c,d,e, & f drives (did the C drive 2x before on its own and still blue screen so tried all of them) then exited and clicked to turn the computer off. Disconnected my mouse and the power cord then held the power button for a minute and then I got black screened lol. After leaving it for 30 minutes to see if it would fix itself and then restarting it a couple more times to no avail I decided to remove the battery and update the Bios to get the screen to comeback on. I just did and now I should be good to go. I’m gonna turn it off and put the battery back in but wanted to say thanks before I forgot! I’m never gonna let this thing die on sleep mode again!

I JUST FOLLOWED EACH STEP & fix with command prompt -copy regback worked for me. incase all option dont work ; just repeat them Why?why?why?why? I earlier tried this and 1)System said - Bios is corrupt& unreadable. 2)when i click on restart in restart setting -loop continued. 3)when ever i stared it showed something running in background. So just have patience & keep hope. Love u man& 👏👌Salute to ur knowledge in this field😍😁🖤
I've tried all of them except for reset (remove everything). Might just send it to shop and let them settle this. Btw good video dude, you help a lot of people!
Thank you! For me the 6th solution was the one that worked (the one with F4). I logged into my computer, but it looked all weird and the background was black. I shot down my computer thinking i didn't work, but then, when i turned it on, it was back to normal.
BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS: if you have recently reset your cmos make sure u changed your boot drive back to the original boot drive with windows. I spent 2 hours on this video before realizing that my boot drive changed to a harddrive that doesnt have windows on it. It would have saved me hours of time. Go into BIOS and check your boot drive first and try each harddrive first before wasting your time. (Not disrespecting the video, just saying that it may help you)
helo, when I read this I thought, nice, this could be it, Because I disconnected the HDD and reconnected it many times. In the BIOS I had UEFI and no boot order options. So I select "Legacy" mode, then restart, go into bios again and than I have the choice of boot devices. It is showing HDD! , HDD0, Realtec device, a couple of USB options and ATI or something like that. I put all except the USB options in first place for boot this way and it always went into the repair loop ...
Start your PC and at the starting screen press the defined key for bios. Its usually f12, you can see it and after getting into the BIOS boot your pc with the CD or pendrive. Complete the setup and you are done
@@yess1191 turn on the computer then when the logo shows up press the assigned key for BIOS usually f12 or delete and then it will show boot devices. Put in your cd or pendrive then click cd player it usually shows company name and rw and if it's a pendrive then it should be showing the company like SanDisk 8GB or something. Select the device using arrow keys and press enter. It will boot up with pendrive or cd
Thanks, it worked. The only method worked on my system is System Restore (23:20) , in this video his system is not showing any restore point/position, but in my system these was 3 points/positions, i choose first and then click finish, it loaded and first didn't work, it said choose the other restore position, then i choose the other, then it start loading after a while , this restore process completed, and window updated, this whole process was about less an hour. Hope it will be useful for you.
Click on "Troubleshoot" Then click on "Advanced options" Then click on "System Restore" option. Then if you have any restore point, it will be there. Select that and click on OK. Then wait. At 23:10, he explained that but his PC didn't have any restore point, mine had, maybe yours too.

So the safe mode worked for me 🙂 and I now have all my files in a pendrive , I can now easily reset this whole computer and have it working yay , thanks bro you da best 👍
🤭
@Zerkx that's is the use of safe mode , it doesn't use much resources , and doesn't load unnecessary drivers , that's why it's safe , mainly for removing viruses and malware
@Zerkx it uses 1 core and 1 gb ram sometimes more or less
I can’t even run safe mode😭
it worked for me too but it doesn't have essential features like internet and when i exit the safe mode i get a blue screen od death loop
The only vid that has all the solutions🤝 i was trying every step till I got to the one that worked for me😂 helped a ton❤️

I almost lost hope. After searching for days for a solution and finding nothing useful, I was about to format my machine and do a fresh installation until I saw this video. First method worked for me. Thank you very much friend.

Many many many thanks to you for producing and sharing these multiple solutions and a great guide to help laymen like me. Solution 6 worked for me to get into safe mode and then to system restore which is currently underway and seems to have worked. Trying to restore.

God Bless You Brother 🙏🙏
And Thank you so much
I got so upset from this, I used a lot of my money to build a gaming pc and this is one of the first things I get :(
did u fix it without factory resetting??
i need a fix where i dint have to reset because i have to many games and files
You can reset without deleting peraonal files but I don't know if that option keeps photos and stuff like that
I can reinstalled Minecraft and roblox, that's fine. But i have more important stuff on there. If there was a way to move files with cmd i could save some stuff with my ubs pen
Going directly to reset pc for this issue is like having a hurt toe and cutting off the whole leg
Edit: check your boot order that fixed mine
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can relate man!!
I did that and now none of these tutorials work lmao
@@lloydcalicoy816 you did it in bios and changed order of boot disks right?

My guy you saved me a bunch of heart ache my computer was in that state for quite some time I had given up on it for a while and had been advised by several computer geeks online and today I find your video and follow your great instructions and after about 4 of your methods one worked and I was able to have my computer back with all of my precious files THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

WHAT I DID?
.
I JUST FOLLOWED EACH STEP & fix with command prompt -copy regback worked for me.
incase all option dont work ; just repeat them
Why?why?why?why?
I earlier tried this and
1)System said - Bios is corrupt& unreadable.
2)when i click on restart in restart setting -loop continued.
3)when ever i stared it showed something running in background.
So just have patience & keep hope.

@@lifeandbeyond7279 Yes this is only thing which worked for me
Thank you! For me the 6th solution was the one that worked (the one with F4). I logged into my computer, but it looked all weird and the background was black. I shot down my computer thinking i didn't work, but then, when i turned it on, it was back to normal.
How canit Work with F4 pleased help
Very Helpful Video. Thanks You So Much
This video is helpfull for me thanks
My laptop was already working , thanks to your 6th method.
I spent my half an hour watching this only to discover my only option is at the last minute of this video - Reset the PC 🤣
EyetlizYT lmao same here
EyetlizYT did u fix it
Nikolas Padilla did u fix it
SpideyOP did u fix it
BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS: if you have recently reset your cmos make sure u changed your boot drive back to the original boot drive with windows.
I just can't believe i did it. Thankyou so much!!! Second method worked for me
Thank you very much I watched many videos but couldn't solved this but after watched of 6.11 minutes I solved my problem
Tell me the process how to install with cd or pendrive
Start your PC and at the starting screen press the defined key for bios. Its usually f12, you can see it and after getting into the BIOS boot your pc with the CD or pendrive. Complete the setup and you are done
@@kartikmishra210 how to boot with cd or pendrive please help ;-;
Thank you sir. My laptop now was already fix because of your method. It really works. Thank you so much.

Pls help me bro about that, i think that is my last chance because i tried other solution but didnt work
I cant understand about pc restore
Click on "Troubleshoot"
Then click on "Advanced options"
Then click on "System Restore" option.
Then if you have any restore point, it will be there. Select that and click on OK. Then wait.
At 23:10, he explained that but his PC didn't have any restore point, mine had, maybe yours too.
