    Thank you soo much Bro !
    I have just got my flysky i6x a d other channels have no intro to this TX, all they talk about is Telemetry, aux and other complex stuff blah blah....... maybe to look cool so as to get likes.
    After watching this video now I know the basics thank you.

      Yeah no problem! Thanks for the kind comment! That was my intent with making this video originally! I figured that since I had learned how to use the controller with no easy-to-follow or structured tutorials, that I would combine what I know to create a comprehensive guide as something that buyers can watch or people who just need to look quickly at certain features or built-in menus, etc. Glad it was of help and awesome to hear that you got a transmitter!

    What an awsome video! Really nice to have all the tutorials in the same video! How do you make those text things in the beginning of each chapter?

      Thanks! I like to make sure I include as much info as possible! The little text things are a rectangular box that reels to the right followed by a slightly slower slider to create a cool little effect as the text slides in

    Do you know where could use the knob auxiliary buttons? And if I want to put lights to the aeroplane. Where could connect them to the receiver? Sorry for my English and thanks.

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  Рік тому +1

      No problem! So by default the radio has only 6 channels per model but for the i6x (not the regular i6), you can change it to use 10 channels. If you have a receiver that has more than 3 or 4 channels for an airplane, you can go into the setup settings and set the switches to the channels on the receiver (and you can use the labels under the knobs or switches to figure out what channel to set it to).
      For example, you could plug in lights to channel 5 on your receiver, then go into your transmitter and set channel 5 to be controlled by switch SWA or SWB and then that corresponding switch will toggle them.
      Hope that helps let me know if you have any other questions!

    Trying to help a friend with an FS I6x. When setting the expo there is no Sport Mode when flipping SWA. Is there a fix for this to be able to use SWA (sport mode) for alternate settings ?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  2 роки тому

      The sport mode is automatically set for SWA so if it is not working, the first thing I would check is if in the "Display" tab, you see the SWA switch being flipped at all

    • @CurtisTheFlyer
      @CurtisTheFlyer 2 роки тому +1

      @@Adam_Carbone Ok thanks. Will do. Nothing changed on the Expo page when I tried. If SWA isn't working, could I reassign a different switch to channel 1 and get the same functionality ? Great Video and a big help !!! Thank you.

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  2 роки тому +1

      @@CurtisTheFlyer Yeah you can assign the channels to other switches in the AUX. Channels tab if you wanted or had to use another one. Once it is set, you can flip the switch under the modes switches and see if the mode changes :D

    Can this transmitter fly FMS and Horizon hobby planes if i change out the recievers?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  11 місяців тому +1

      It cannot as those are usually some sort of Spektrum DSM protocol or Frsky like D8 or D16 protocol. This is Flysky AFHDS 2A protocol, you could always put a flysky receiver in those types of models though

    What is the range?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  Рік тому

      Your range depends on a lot of factors like where you are flying and what other signal may be interfering. In an ideal world it could probably go miles but in a place populated with WiFi and radio signal it could be anywhere from 300-500 meters, just depends

    How controller simulator game works & How to connect crossfire or another TX?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  2 роки тому +2

      You can connector to a simulator simply by plugging in the cable to your computer and the controller. You can also get an extra wire to connect two of the controllers together for trainer & student modes. You can do mods to get crossfire and elrs modules working with OpenTX on the i6x controller but it is more on the advanced side. Albert Kim made two videos about it for both the i6 and the i6x. Hope that helps!

    Just about got my radio programmed. BUT who's idea was it to make the OK key to sometimes mean OK and other times to mean cancel and the cancel key to sometimes means cancel and sometimes mean OK?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  Рік тому +1

      Yeah haha you get used to it eventually. To save things you hold the cancel button and it will always chime in like a high pitch when it saves, and if you tap the cancel button to cancel, a lower pitch is played to signify you just backed out. :D

    • @Adam_Carbone

    Can I use a gyro reaciver with this model?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  Рік тому +1

      Yeah that should work as long as it is a Flysky receiver. Usually the gyro on receivers like that is completely independent from the actual channel control on the radio, so it might auto-stabilize based on what servos/control surfaces you plug into those channels but other than that it acts like a regular receiver from the controller/radio. Hope that helps!

    Is this a multi protocol radio?

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  2 роки тому +1

      No it is a Flysky specific radio so it only supports protocols like AFHDS and AFHDS2A but if you are interested I could make a couple of recommendations 😁

      @@Adam_Carbone please

    • @Adam_Carbone
      @Adam_Carbone  2 роки тому

      @@Theguyinthe So it all depends on the size of radio you want but the TX16s is a pretty great value, great features and has a 4in1 module built-in if you get that version. There is also the Radiomaster Zorro which is a smaller game-controller style radio and also has a 4in1 option and is about 70% of the cost. If you want something in between, there is the radiomaster boxer which has a 4in1 and is smaller than a tx16s but larger than the zorro in the sense that it is boxy so those are all great options depending on your needs. If you wanted to go even cheaper, there is the Junper t-lite (has to be v1) that you can get with a 4in1 and is also a game-controller style. I personally have a radiomaster tx12 which is like a smaller tx16s but instead of a 4in1 multi protocol module, it just has a single multiprotocol chip so it can only do things like frsky and futaba, so I ended up getting an external 4in1 multiprotocol module for it so that I can plug it in and basically use any protocol available. Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if you have any questions!

      Not a stock feature but if you are technical enough and feel up for the challenge, you can put OpenTX firmware onto the i6X which does have a timer setting of course. Albert Kim made a tutorial video about it a little while ago: ua-cam.com/video/dkHXLw7T87s/v-deo.html

      Might just be whatever device you are listening on. The music is a bit a louder than it should be, but doesn't seem to be too obstructive from what I am hearing. This was also 3 years ago.
