My buzzer was also like that. I moved it to under the top speaker grill above the RS logo. This way its facing out to be heard better. There is already screw holes and is set up for buzzer to be there.
6:03 I'll either use electrical tape or Silicon Glue for the fan. The other tire that came with the RS looks garbage, I'm glad you changed it to the original tire. And I like how you took out the wheel without taking the shell apart, that's one of the features I love about the RS 😎
Just a note. Might be worth it to check if the "vents" on the sidepanel are actually open or not, On the 1st gen MSX, these where closed off, so just for looks, but while designing, they showed it with much larger ones, so it was definitly on the table, but later scrapped. The internal fan is mostly just to move the air around so it does'nt accumulate in one spot, but i agree that the placement is strange, at this point it looks like they just placed it in there as a "heck, why not" The internal fan on the gotway wheels are not what actually keeps it cool while riding, thats all down to the heatsink finns on the outside of the case " wheel area" good video tho, noce that you open it up to show us (Y)
@ EUC GUY i blew air throw the vents and it checked out....as for the fan am thinking of modelling a mounting bracket and having it under the control board since there is more that enough space and have it ducted to channel air directly underneath the board ...
Can someone explain to me what's the issue about the bearings, is this a weight issue? I waiting for the same wheel once it ships out. it'll be my second purchase so far
@@SharinganUchiha28 Some people have had issues with the bearings on these hollow motor wheels due to water getting into the bearings and causing rust. This stops the bears turning smoothly.
Looking at this design wheel this is great! everything is accessible, also they is not reason why this wheel and future wheels cannot be made waterproof. I really want to see a change the bearings video and if there is after market bearings that someone is CNC themselves.
@@MichaelMutai To be honest at this price point that should be a non issue, the same with the wiring internally, although I was pleased to see the brass screw inserts so the case can be opened and closed as many times are needed with out de-threading the housing.
Thanks ....am just having fun with this wheel....As for the Monster Pro I dont see how am going to use it so for now no but i have the msx 84v v2 on order
@ Igor goga i folded a think piece of paper and placed it on top of the fan so when i replaced the side panel it applied pressure of the fan...but am working on a 3d print mount but will have to relocate the fan
Thanks for the quick tear down and explanation. Something I may need to do in the future. Cheers
Great video! Thanks for showing all that with commentary, appreciated
Thanks for watching...!!

cool mine is a lil to the side of the speaker grill....i dont ride the beeps but still just incase i can hear it

Have one kenda off road to try....its much easier to do tire change..thanks for watching

Did you think about putting good bearings in while you had it apart?
Dint have the exact specs of the bearings but will look into it also want to see how long the bearings are going to hold..

@@mikebikekite1 I definitely won't be riding in the rain or over puddles give me sun, dry ground, clear skies and I'm there lol

the only major issue so far is waterproofing...posting a vid of a test that i did soon....but for teh most part its a good wheel

Umm, measurement, got some ASMR tingles
Very helpfull and I understand why the Sherman ppl left Gotway. Their solutions are a little primitive I find.
Thanks for watching! Gotway might loose afew customers over time coz of lil stuff if they dont fix their QC in my opinion
@@MichaelMutai Maybe Sherman Veteran is the only EUC compagny that has QC according to western standards.
I enjoy your work. Your technical insight should be offered as a college elective. Is the Begode Monster Pro on your wish list?

is the fan glued to inner wall or the cover? do you waterproof the main board? thank you!!!!
The fan is glued on two sides...one on the bracket wall that holds the battery pack and the other on top of the pedal hanger housing......
@@MichaelMutai Can you pls tell what glue you used to reglue it back?

@igor goga Chao Yang H-5102...Aliexpress
i cant find bearings 61824- 2 rs anyone has some luck?
havent looked for them...am will ride with the original bearings till they start to act up then have an idea of how long they held up....
