One can always count on Times Radio to come up with a losing strategy in Ukraine to follow on the completely brilliant English thinking that gave the world Brexit.
NATO has proven itself ineffectual and weak in the face of clear threats. From the very start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, decisive action could have altered the trajectory of the war. The dithering by the U.S. and Germany, both of whom hesitated on supplying long-range missiles, has allowed Russia’s aggression to fester unchecked. While Britain and France grasped the severity early on and pushed to support Ukraine, they were hindered by American control over key guidance systems, limiting effective deployment. The inability-or unwillingness-of the U.S. and Germany to act decisively has done more than prolong Ukraine’s suffering. It has emboldened rogue nations and tyrants worldwide. Iran and its proxies, unchallenged, now openly target Israel; North Korea sends troops to aid Russia, likely trading missile tech in exchange for God knows what. Meanwhile, China is eyeing the South China Sea and Taiwan with a new brazenness, testing global resolve in what could lead to a full-blown crisis. The Doomsday Clock is ticking perilously close to midnight, and it is under the watch of Joe Biden and Olaf Scholz that the world inches toward catastrophe. Their hesitation and incompetence are putting global stability on the line, and we are left vulnerable to their poor judgement.
@@EdwardThatch-ee7yx Also, it is Russia that has invaded Ukraine, and not NATO that has invaded Russia. So if you’re worried about Doomsday, you need to complain to Putin.

Some Ukrainian leaders and analysts argue that the loss of nuclear capabilities has left the country vulnerable. Front crumbling? Watch your mouth mister .. It's actually getting better and better on the eastern front... The Ukrainian military has forbidden its soldiers from using the word ‘retreat’ according to V.Lazur - a journalist with the US based Radio Liberty. I spoke with a soldier on the Pokrovsk front and he said, "we received orders to use the words ‘offensive’, ‘victory’, ‘moving forward’, ‘driving out the enemy’ when communicating with journalists. Maybe we should say that we are advancing on the Dnieper - even if it's... behind us?" Moreover, the military units themselves do not communicate the real situation on the ground to the high command. "Everyone lies to each other. Local commanders are afraid to report to generals or higher-ups any problems, or that they do not have enough people, or that they are not able to carry out a task. Even if such reports are founded in reality, they are afraid to send them, for fear of getting demoted" In a word? We're winning !

Now they are losing ground.

European countries have committed more than twice as much aid to Ukraine as the US has. Actual allocated European also surpasses the amount allocated by the US. And as a percentage of GDP, European countries and the EU overall spend more on Ukraine than the US. Maybe you are referring to military aid, where the US does contribute more (and much of that obsolete inventory weapons systems). But that is not all of the aid by far.
5 percent of Polish GDP in absolute numbers is still far less than 3% GDP out of Germany or France. Plus Germany and France are big netto payers into the EU whereas Poland is a huge net receiver of EU funds. This makes it much easier for Poland to spend a fortune on weaponry while its economy is partially subsidised by the EU!

I say yes it takes time but just remember back to WW2 , KOREA , VIETNAM , AFGHANISTAN we made sure those material needs were taken care of , no if Europe and America wanted to they could have massively ramped up it's industrial capacity to provide everything Ukraine needed to push Russia back to its borders .
Maybe we should say that we are advancing on the Dnieper - even if it's... behind us?"
Moreover, the military units themselves do not communicate the real situation on the ground to the high command.
"Everyone lies to each other. Local commanders are afraid to report to generals or higher-ups any problems, or that they do not have enough people, or that they are not able to carry out a task. Even if such reports are founded in reality, they are afraid to send them, for fear of getting demoted"

This is a ridiculous video. Ukraine is losing land in the south east faster than it has in two years, they have stalled in the Kursk region and are suffering from very low morale and supplies. Look it up. Russia took NK troops to guard the Kursk perimeter while it focuses on the south east. They didn't move their own troops away from the south east to reinforce Kursk, Ukraine did. Now they are losing ground.

Either the EU wakes up, or we will all wake up under an autocratic government.
No evidence North Korean troops are fighting or even in Russia . Russia and North Korea have a mutual defence pact . When one is attacked the other helps . No big deal. It’s a little how nato works
Certainly 10,000 troops would not make much difference Russia has far than that in reserve they could use
So the Times is making the claim based on the unproven assertion that North Korean troops are fighting in Kursk
That’s a pretty weak case
@@TrevorCrook-c1s Are those North Koreans on vacation in Russia? Ha ha ha 😂 🤣 😆 😄 😀
@ No proof they are even there . There are 20 million Russians who Come from Siberia and places close to the area who are oriental in appearance . Because you see an oriental in a Russian uniform doesn’t mean they are North Korean
Why does Poland can spend 5% and France, UK, Germany and others don't want to spend?
Why US should carry all the burden?
You are parroting your party line. The US only carries the burden for itself, they don't give money to other countries to fund their armies.
That's EZ.
Cause Poland is bankrolled by daddy US as border country.
Its about % of GDP. Not absolute $. Most of Europe pay the same % as the US as a % of GDP.
Perhaps Ukraine can encourage NK soldiers to surrender and be granted asylum?

Truth of the matter is that in Britain in particular, but also in the "West" we have been led by pygmies for too long. That point about Rachel Reeves and her budget was spot on. £2.9B for defence, £22B for the NHS. There will be no NHS if Putin continues towards the West, we cannot defend ourselves. This is the central issue of our time aand look at the 4th politicians that we have! (Without even mentioning the low credibility of the US presidential candidates).
Yeah, we spent £400Bn on fighting Covid 19. We spent £37Bn just on track and trace, which was never likely to work. Boris Johnson was an ally of Ukraine, but Sunak is a bean counter, mostly interested in fixing the economy, and Labour are more interested in improving public services.

I honestly think , and this might sound inflammatory but as well as the American elections has made the Ukraine war drag on , I think the West has made a decision to let the war drag on so Russia would totally deplete its military fighting capacity to a point where it's going to take 20 years to build its armed forces up again basically bleeding Russia's armed forces white and destroying iits material military equipment capacity to be basically none existent and the reason I think this is look after three years of war Europe's military industrial capacity hasn't been invested in fully even now we can't out produce Russia even on the basics like artillery shell production and these people that says it takes time to ramp up production . We have the money we have the manpower but Europe and America have let Ukraine down by giving them just enough to hold on and survive
