Thanks!! Glad to hear you’re getting back into it! I can definitely become pricey, but that’s only if you want it to be. There are definitely smaller tanks that can be very affordable and still have plenty of beautiful fish, softies & LPS corals!
Yes dude I'm gonna be out about 7k for the setup I want. I like that a lot of it became automated and that new filter looks awesome as well as the auto level skimmer
Yeah it’s definitely unfortunate how expensive it’s gotten. But to be fair, most things have gotten significantly more expensive over the past few years as well!
What's up G. I don't really check Instagram all the time. But I remember I subscribed to your channel because I believe you deserve more subs. Keep up the good work my G.
Where did you get those side tables?? I’ve been searching for something that matches my Red Sea stand but I can put all of my wires/ ATO and dosing stuff etc.
Hello. I subscribed to your channel today after watching a couple videos. I am researching a new tank set up. I want a Peninsula type tank to use as a room divider between my living room and dining area. I want to be able to view the tank from the living area and from the dining table. I have thought about this set up ever since we had the house built. I am finally in a position to make this a reality. Now I just need to find the right company to work with. I like those smaller cabinets. They accentuate the tank stand perfectly. Where could I get some?
Thanks! Captive bred goni’s tend to do much better long term than wild caught! And I also run a slightly dirty tank for having SPS and the goniopora’s love it (nitrate: 10-20, phosphate: 0.1-0.2).
I also do heavy in/out (large feedings & heavy filtration) and feed Benepets, Reefroids & a few Brightwell liquid foods a couple times a week. I’ll make a video in the future on what I feed both fish and corals!
Beautiful tank! I'm looking to set up something similar soon. How long have you had your goni's? What do you feel they need to flourish? I love em, but have tried everything with limited success
Thanks so much!! I’ve had the green, red, and purple large goni’s for over a year now! Those 3 have grown like 5x in size! I’ve found they love flow, slightly higher nutrients (nitrates and phosphates), and I broadcast feed a large variety of different liquid and powder foods weekly!
Hey man how have you managed to get such a progressive growth in just 4 months especially the zoa's and GSP which is already spreading across the bottom glass. I dose All For Reef but not very frequently as I find it raises Alk and calcium far too quick.
Stability is the key! The more stable you can keep tank parameters stable (temperature, salinity, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium), the faster things grow! At least that’s what I’ve experienced!
Taped and secured to the back side of the white cabinets! I like to keep them off the floor in case I spill water (which has happened plenty of times haha)!
Reefing is a great hobby!! And the short and simple reason for no sand, is to provide as much flow to the corals as possible and keep the bottom of the tank as clean as possible!
I wanted to be able to have as much flow as I wanted, from many direction, and not have to worry about sand being moved or kicked up! I also wanted to be able to make siphoning detritus and fish waste effortless!
The ReefBreeder Photon peaks for about 5 hours at 9-9-85-43-85-85! But it’s also important to note my lights are mounted ~16” off the surface of the water!
If your light is mounted at the more standard 10”-14”, I’d recommend around 7-7-70-35-70-70 for general LPS/SPS lighting schedule! That’s what I used to run it before I mounted my lights to the wall to raise them to the 16” point! Hope that helps some!
@@grandcanyonreefs thanks. Yes I’m at 11 with a t5 hybrid using 4 t5 bulbs and the photon in the middle. Two black boxes on the side. I’ve been running the first schedule from the manual. Max is 30 on the blue channels. Not much growth at all. I’m slowly ramping up blues week over week and confirming with par meter.
Looks great - I just got back into the hobby after years away and I will say it’s come a long way but is becoming a rich mans hobby too !

Fish and corals have risen 3/4x or more in price over the past few years. Just stocking a tank now will cost a few grand. Crazy.

really fun tour video dude
Thanks for your support!
The tank really looks great! I will be periodically checking in to follow the growth. Keep it up.👍🏾
Thanks!! I can’t wait for what the tank will look like at the 1 year mark! Will definitely do another tank tour at that point!
Looking amazing my friend. Great update. Definitely enjoyed it. 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much! Appreciate the feedback!

Lovely tour of your reef tank! more soon I hope ?
Absolutely! Working on the next video now!
I am about to set up my 3rd tank now! hoping its as nice as you!
Heck yeah! Best of luck and let me know how this tank goes! 🙌🏽
Where did you get the brackets for your lights? I love the way that set up looks.
Thank you! The brackets are shelf brackets from amazon! They are mounted into a 2”x6” wood board which is bolted into the 2”x4” of the wall!
Tank looks amazing , great update!!
Thanks so much!❤️
That sump cable management 😮
I’ll definitely be cleaning and tidying it up during the end of this month! I’ll probably record and before and after to post! 🙌🏽
Nice tank looks good and healthy
Thanks!!!
Where did you get those side tables?? I’ve been searching for something that matches my Red Sea stand but I can put all of my wires/ ATO and dosing stuff etc.
From Ikea! They are called ‘EKET Cabinet with 2 doors and shelf, white’!
Was going to ask the same question. I just got my 625 G2 and doing my setup now
Very nice! Let me know how the setup goes!!

Nice aquarium, real beautiful. Have you kept this brand before the G2 series?
Thank you! No this is my first Red Sea tank!
Happy Holidays ❤️
Can you share the links to the items you used to make the DIY light mount
So you believe in putting your Ecotec circulators on the back of the tank how dose that work
Awesome looking tank! Any chance you can share where you got the light mounts
Thanks! And they are shelf mounts from Amazon!

Where are you located? I'm in north Peoria getting ready to buy this exact same setup from Kona and wanna ask you some questions
I’m in Chandler! And heck yeah! Feel free to message me on instagram if you have any questions!!!
Hey, what floor of your home do you have this tank on? I'm looking to purchase this same tank but don't know if its safe to go on my 2nd floor.
Mine is in the ground floor. Definitely get in contact with a construction expert or structural engineer to make sure your floor is safe!
Looking good bro
Appreciate it!

thinking of getting into reefing, why dont you use sand?

It's crazy how I didn't care for Zoas like that 6 months ago, but now I absolutely love them. Loving the Zoa garden!

I have a 260 I’m noticing loss in flow how do I take the return pumps for cleaning any tips ? Thank you been running for about 6 months
What return pump are you using? And are you sure it’s the pump causing change of flow and not the gate valve?
what kind of cooling fan is that?

bro, watch how ur Siganus unimaculatus behaves, ur tank is way to small for that fish
The fox face rabbit fish?
My tank is 4”x2”!
@@grandcanyonreefs yes, thats what I meant. I would keep one, if the tank was double the size. dont you see his behaviour?
