I wholeheartedly agree. Although I ranked "Goodbye to yesterday" one place lower than it did rank, it was a wonderful song. And "Kuula" is a masterpiece and was my runner-up in 2012.

As ever, I'm surprised by what Terry Wogan considers obvious and why. Nothing particularly obvious about the Netherlands giving them 12 in 2001 (I guess if you were to stretch, it's because Dave Benton is from Aruba in the Dutch Caribbean, but it's probably just because they liked the song), and Sweden probably didn't give them 12 in 2002 because they're both along the Baltic (Sweden doesn't consider itself a Baltic nation, and it was more likely because Estonia's singer Sahlene is actually from Sweden)
