French Bulldogs are so special. They are so different and special more than any other dogs. We have 2 of them and yes they are like having 2 babies. It is funny because we have a Nala and a Lily. Your Nala is adorable.
I have a pied Frenchie who is jus coming up to five months. He & Nala have a lot of the same characteristics....he's a HUGE cuddler. He's currently sprawled across my bed, snoring, whilst I perch on the edge! He's my second Frenchie, but so different from the one I had previously....he's so chilled & incredibly well behaved. I hope Nala brings you as much love & happiness as Frankie brings to me. (As well as lots of 'gas'!) I am divorced & my children are 19/25 but still living at home. Frankie is my soul mate & I could never be without him. We go EVERYWHERE together. Yes....everywhere! xx

Oh they are bright!! Mine is VERY SMART! I can’t believe how much she knows! I trained her not to fear noises by turning up storms , fireworks, lighting and using facumn. It worked. She fears nothing. Very curious dogs, and entertaining! She loves to walk! 1-2 miles a day at 15.5 mim mile pace! Your dog is gorgeous! Great video! Great protectors too! And they hear everything lol enjoy!
Actually she didn't share info at all. I know a lot of frenchies and I have one myself. They need a lot of attention and a lot of grooming she didn't talk about anything important. They need special food, since they are often allergic, they can't go outside for to long in the summer because they will overheat, they destroy every singly toy you give them so you can just stick to sticks from outside. They get bad theeth fast so you need to brush them. They get skin issues really fast so you have to clean the wrinkles very often. They often can't swim so you should buy them a live vest. They can get asthma and they backwards sneeze. They snore really loud and at least in germany the surgery costs for taking care of this problem are 1000€ and upwards. They can get problems with the hips and often have problems with their tear ducts. I see so many people here considering buying a dog ust because she tells them they are cute and that's sad. PLEASE inform yourself before you consider ANY pet.
Don't just take what others say for fact either, learn for yourself because the reply you got was false. My dog never had skin or allergy problems. My frenchie had the same toys his whole life, I just added new ones for x-mas, etc. Never tore anything up and would die before he would potty inside. He was so well behaved. They don't need to be groomed a lot. In fact they are easy to keep clean and comfy, baby wipes to clean face between bathes. All dogs should have good food but special food?.They are heat sensitive but they can be outdoors just don't leave them out unattended. Backward sneezing isn't a health issue and everything else this reply has are possibilities with any dog and shouldn't keep you from them.
Kristine Knowles but it is one of the unhealthiest dog breed. You got a healthy french and that is good for you. But if you want a healthy dog, don't choose a french. All though they are wery cute
it makes me so happy to see someone taking such good care of their Frenchie. We too took a "slightly used" or "rescued" Frenchie into our home as well. I had NO idea what we were in for! They are truly a delightful addition to a family. You've done an excellent job showing exactly what life with a French Bulldog is like!

Nala is gorgeous! I currently have an 8 year old St. Bernard named Donut, and my wife has a 5 year old teacup Yorkie, named Olivia. I've gravitated towards Frenchie's over the last 6 months. They are incredibly intelligent, and unique in character; but don't seem too hard to train. My wife's Yorkie is stubborn as ever! Many happy years with Nala!

No jumping! They have back issues and when older it will catch up with her. Even jumping off furniture is bad so get her a ramp or some dog steps so she can get use to doing that. Tug a war playing is bad for their necks,so do gentle tug a war and tell all friends and family! I see you really love her,She is lucky to be part of your life now. Congrats!

They are so adorable, but please, for anyone looking to buy a Frenchie. If you really love and care for your future Frenchie (or any other pure bred dog for that matter), always always find a reputable breeder. Good breeders DO NOT advertise themselves as breeders only. REAL BREEDERS only breed to replace a retiring show dog. Real breeders do not constantly churn out dogs all year, every year. People who advertise "rare" colors or have a litter every few months are BAD breeders. The really bad ones don't care if they mate two dogs that are related to each other. Since they are only in it for the money, they don't care if they breed genetically inherited disorders. Look for show dog owners in your area. Show dog owners have it in their best interest to mate two of the best dogs possible to produce as perfect of a litter as they can; in temperament, health, and appearance. Inquire about getting a dog through them and they will thoroughly vet you to see if you are a good fit for one of their extra pups. Depending on whether or not they are planning on breeding or have a litter on the way, you may be lucky enough to be selected. The AKC and CKC have lists also, but beware, THEY don't vet them; they just accept what they say without question. Even then, keep your wits about you, do your homework, know what you are looking for, and stay away from blue breeders!
Although I love my rescued Frenchie most animal welfare groups advise against buying them, they are bred with so many defects its bloody cruel, breathing problems, spine issues, gut problems... 😥
What a lovely video, we have just taken on a French bulldog who was found abandoned (he has a bowel problem) your right about cuddles! We also have a Rottweiller and they get on so well.
We have a Frenchie too. So much of what you shared is true! Frenchies were bred to be companion dogs so I would only encourage people who don't work or work from home or are home all the time to get one. They truly prefer to be WITH their peeps all the time! It's part of why Nala leans on you even when she's sleeping. They don't tolerate cold or hot temperatures since they are brachycephalic dogs so Frenchies are not to be left outside. Our dog loves his crate. We frequently find him in there snoozing while we're cleaning the house. If we leave for even an hour, we crate him. He'll run into the kennel on his own (he knows he'll get a cookie)! Our Frenchie is a rescue so I encourage people to consider that. Good luck!
Kristine Knowles ya wen I were my car Hart winter coveralls something like the trainers use she alway goes for the leg then wen I get her of off ther right for the balls they are baggy the overalls them grabs on just like a pit bull it’s funny only wen I put them overalls on and are frenchie love to walk and it’s cold were I live in Canada she will walk on the coldest day and lives it she has a coat on of course but won’t wear them booties if I think her feet are to cold I’ll pick her up and carry her but she loves the out doors
Oh what a Sweetie! We have an almost identical Frenchie named Opie. He rocks! They will change your life! His favorite thing in the world is tiny tennis balls 🎾. He loves all people and all dogs. Frogs, turtles and anything that looks like a frog or a turtle should flee before him, however.
Loved your video. My wife and I have been together for about 11 years, and lost our dogs due to age and cancer about a year ago. We wanted to get more, but didn't know what to get. We ended up with 2 frenchies that are the cream color also. We've experienced all you mentioned. They're a handful, but so sweet.
Just got ours at 3 months. Turned out he wasn’t cute enough so I traded him to a friend for some roofing materials...just kidding. Our’s is an exact clone of yours in every way. Calm personalty a common trait in these dogs. Sleeps with us...sleeps right against us. Seems to want nothing more in life than to just be with us. Expensive purchase, but the characteristics of the breed well worth it.
Sometimes when she gives me attitude, I would like to trade her for some camera equipment....but she is family! That's cool that yours looks like Nala!

Put a towel or some kind on her crate when she is alone; she will more secure and may not howl. My Frenchie does well with a towel on his crate when we aren't with him.
What to expect? 1. They fart 2. They snore loud 3. They are mischievous 4. They are so cute you wanna eat their chops. 5. I had one that had epileptic fits and she died at the beginning at the beginning of the year. 6. My eldest one ate all her treats somehow and became fat. 7. My puppy gets jealous of my eldest. 8. THEY ARE SO FRIGGEN CUTE :3 Love my little family of frenchies x3 also warning. Make sure she doesn't get to any important mail!! 0,0 or even letters etc they will shred them to pieces 😂
We have a 3 month old Frenchton. If you're looking at french bulldogs I highly recommend you look at Frenchtons. 75% french bulldog, 25% Boston Terrier. Looks like a FB, just has a longer snout and saves lots of medical issues. She acts just like you've described as well.

Yeah good theory not to jump... Had several frenchies and also puppies but they jump when they want to.. i stoped them every time but it didn't show much effect on them but they didnt get back problems luckily when getting old.. 😎 They are wonderful creatures and all they need is you.. And good food 😁 they love physical contact and hate being alone... Their big personality is unique every frenchie is completely unique you can tell it when they are a few days old they are beginning showing different charakters not just a little they're completely different what loves one hate the next.... I enjoyed every second with my frenchies and am thinking of getting one again... I didn't wanted a new one after the last died he got really old but now im missing these good comrads for life...

Frenchies were bred to be companion dogs so I would only encourage people who don't work or work from home or are home all the time to get one. They truly prefer to be WITH their peeps all the time! It's part of why Nala leans on you even when she's sleeping. They don't tolerate cold or hot temperatures since they are brachycephalic dogs so Frenchies are not to be left outside. Our dog loves his crate. We frequently find him in there snoozing while we're cleaning the house. If we leave for even an hour, we crate him. He'll run into the kennel on his own (he knows he'll get a cookie)! Our Frenchie is a rescue so I encourage people to consider that. Good luck!

Kristine Knowles ya wen I were my car Hart winter coveralls something like the trainers use she alway goes for the leg then wen I get her of off ther right for the balls they are baggy the overalls them grabs on just like a pit bull it’s funny only wen I put them overalls on and are frenchie love to walk and it’s cold were I live in Canada she will walk on the coldest day and lives it she has a coat on of course but won’t wear them booties if I think her feet are to cold I’ll pick her up and carry her but she loves the out doors

We have an almost identical Frenchie named Opie. He rocks! They will change your life! His favorite thing in the world is tiny tennis balls 🎾. He loves all people and all dogs. Frogs, turtles and anything that looks like a frog or a turtle should flee before him, however.

Loved your video. My wife and I have been together for about 11 years, and lost our dogs due to age and cancer about a year ago. We wanted to get more, but didn't know what to get. We ended up with 2 frenchies that are the cream color also. We've experienced all you mentioned. They're a handful, but so sweet.

Just got ours at 3 months. Turned out he wasn’t cute enough so I traded him to a friend for some roofing materials...just kidding. Our’s is an exact clone of yours in every way. Calm personalty a common trait in these dogs. Sleeps with us...sleeps right against us. Seems to want nothing more in life than to just be with us. Expensive purchase, but the characteristics of the breed well worth it.
Sometimes when she gives me attitude, I would like to trade her for some camera equipment....but she is family! That's cool that yours looks like Nala!

Put a towel or some kind on her crate when she is alone; she will more secure and may not howl. My Frenchie does well with a towel on his crate when we aren't with him.

5. I had one that had epileptic fits and she died at the beginning at the beginning of the year.
6. My eldest one ate all her treats somehow and became fat.

We have a 3 month old Frenchton. If you're looking at french bulldogs I highly recommend you look at Frenchtons. 75% french bulldog, 25% Boston Terrier. Looks like a FB, just has a longer snout and saves lots of medical issues. She acts just like you've described as well.

Yeah good theory not to jump... Had several frenchies and also puppies but they jump when they want to.. i stoped them every time but it didn't show much effect on them but they didnt get back problems luckily when getting old.. 😎 They are wonderful creatures and all they need is you.. And good food 😁 they love physical contact and hate being alone... Their big personality is unique every frenchie is completely unique you can tell it when they are a few days old they are beginning showing different charakters not just a little they're completely different what loves one hate the next.... I enjoyed every second with my frenchies and am thinking of getting one again... I didn't wanted a new one after the last died he got really old but now im missing these good comrads for life...
