Also be forewarned that many French Bulldogs are considerably larger than the ones you are seeing on UA-cam and Tik-Tok. Many of them are 30 lbs or more and if you asked to see the parents at a pet store or puppy mill you are not going to see the parents. You will see the parents that they think are the cutest they have so that you will feel sure that's what your puppies going to look like!
I speak from experience of 12 dogs to have been pugs 8 have been Boston Terriers and to have been Frenchie's. Only two of them were pretty classic of their breed and the cute things they did we're highly individual and so are the only things they did. Every one of them had at least one habit they would make a really disappointed picky on her give them back or sell them cheaply. So I adore those push-based shortnose breeds and each one of those types has a lot to recommend it but I can guarantee you that the odds are small that you will get what people think of as the classic French Bulldog or Boston Terrier or pug because there really is no such thing. What there are are sets of behaviors and characteristics like temperament and how easy they are to train and how much exercise they like or how Lively they are that are common in the breeds compared to other breeds. But that's pretty much all you can say
Cool story, but pugs and Boston terriers are irrelevant and French bulldogs very much do have classic frenchie personalities. Frankly so do pugs. I’ve owned both.
These are adorable in overall they are a wonderful adorable breed. But there is no dog that is necessarily representative other breed and no dog you get it is guaranteed to be like what you expect of debris. Just remember that these videos are a few hundred dogs at most out of millions of them worldwide and although not all of the cute ones are on UA-cam you are not necessarily adopting one of these dogs. So if you're wanting a dog that acts like a baby or talks back to you or Doug's adorable things or ornery things you may not get that. Please be ready for that if you want to adopt one and know that you're going to keep it and love it and care for it for life even if it is nothing like one of these videos. Because cuz they'll all be something like these videos but none of them will be completely like these videos and if you are hoping for it to be very like these you are likely to be disappointed in your poor little dog will end up on Craigslist or at the Humane Society.
