I'll vouch for the wings on a thinck, double coated dog. We had issues with the 1" all-metal contact points on my Caucasian Shepherd. Moving to the comfort wings with a bungee fixed it beautifully. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth a shot. Its been 100% consistent, leash isnt too tight, and i dont have to brush his hair aside like with the normal contacts.
Thanks... German Shepherd .. so much loose skin ! I have ultra comfort wings and bungee for my e collar. . I get contact and then in a situation I need contact .. it isn't there. Seems double bricking may be my solution, after I try shaving a spot. Is there only 1 remote still?

Oh I forgot...yes, one remote. The manual has instructions on how to pair the 2nd receiver. I can help you with that also.
