The Unknown It's bound to happen, the franchise was taken over by a new company who makes different decisions. No need to get upset over people drawing comparisons and having opinions on the two companies.

The Unknown well I think that factually true, bungie is older, more talented and more creative than 343: a younger less creative studio, trying to prove themselves terribly with of all things using a huge franchise. By putty IRON SIGHTS in a game with unique gameplay mechanics that's now a cross between tight fall and cod, ffs.
The Unknown Well a lot of people think of Bungie as superior, Halo was essentially their baby. They cared for what they were doing, and wanted to create a fun, interesting game. 343i doesn't have that kind of... attachment to Halo as a franchise, and there are people who can see it. It doesn't make the new Halo games bad, just different. And some people like it, some don't.

david quiroz It's honestly, pretty bad. Everything in it, from the mobility to the weapon handling just feels lackluster. It feels like they tacked things on in hopes of appealing to the new generation, whilst forgetting the old.

He's not a mass murderer, he's simply a soldier. He was always willing to resolve conflict peacefully- like what he did, unsuccessfully, with the Heretic Leader and with Tartarus. Clearly you don't know his character if you think he's just a blatant blood-thirsty murderer.
Vicious Zero, do you remember Reach? That was surely a conflict that he was willing to resolve peacefully, what with all of the glassing, friendly fire, and the killing of so many innocent civilians. Yes, he is absolutely willing to resolve them peacefully.
The reason he tried to do so with the heretic leader is because he had been confused about the goals, his life was being turned upside-down, and the Sangheili were losing their grip on the position they held in the covenant.
He isn't just a mass murderer though, but he led his fleet to do as such.

Person. His "abilities" are shit so you're telling me when he's running, his shields are down, and he can't regenerate them as a useful ability for chief? I don't think so. Also, chief is totally putting those abilities to good use on warden eternal. While halo 3 chief is using his abilities on the flood and to explode a halo ring.
Halo 5 master chief struggled and got his visor cracked in a fight against Locke. Halo 3 Master Chief almost single handedly defeated the entire Covenant and Flood without a scratch. Plus, Halo 3 Master Chief was shown to be strong enough to punch through solid metal. A punch like that would've killed Locke. Not to mention Chief's shields recharge faster in Halo 3 and recharge while running too, plus he can jump higher and he can do BXB's and BXR's for instant melee kills lol.

I think it might of been due to time or something. To my knowledge this was being made during Halo 5's production so he couldn't do two for one.

Javier Ortiz, a little after Halo 5,s launch it lasted throughout the entirety of 2016 and is still going on today, just not as large as it used to be. Killer instinct expansions for the arbiter were around December to January, so of course no original arbiter voice actor
in reality the new arbiter would win, because he has upgraded armour, more experience, and a stronger energy sword.

This is also a over the top fighting game where you can have a giant toad take on demons of Evil and Raptors tear up beings made of fire and ice. Logic is usually thrown out the window in most cases for fighting games. (Heck, in another game a car was a playable fighting character.)

Plus halo 3 energy sword is much cooler than prophet's bane. Why does he need the prophet's bane when he probably has camo built in? Well I guess technically he is not using it for camo, but halo 3 arbiter is more action packed than halo 5 arbiter, who you really only see use an energy sword.
It would actually make no sense for Halo 3 Arbiter to win considering the Halo 5 Arbiter has far more skill and experience AND better weaponry and armor.

the duck commander It's the same elite from the original trilogy, but with more experience and The best energy sword. Halo 5 arby it's a more skilled Warrior, maybe with better shields due to Arbiter armor being so old according to the Spec Ops

The announcer and mechanics killed this game for me.. I'd press a few buttons then a guy would yell some combo, which got annoying reallllly fast, and I went in expecting something like mortal kombat, where there were simple attacks and easy to use kombos and specials, but instead was greeted by a clusterfuck of controls, there were no simple attacks and learning combos were out of the question.. and at the time I didn't get Arby because I would either have to wait like two months or so to get him, or pay like 40 bucks to get him and three other characters I didn't care about.. Killer Instinct, not my game

From a logical standpoint, halo 5 arbiter wins, more experience, more skill, more weaponry, more armor, plus the fact that he's been given the new elite look, meaning he is much larger and clearly physically more powerful (although it isn't shown here)

Well, technically speaking, this strange and weird battle between the past and future versions of the same Sangheili warrior would be won by the future one.
Canonically, they're the same person, the only difference is age, weapons, and armor. So, with that being said, it'd be Halo 5's Arbiter that would win due to his greater experience and more advanced gear.

As much as I prefer the old Arbiter, it is nice to see how far the Arbiter has come. From being a general to being a nobody, then being the overall Elite commander and leader.
