- This 1963 Studebaker Grand Turismo is really special with a super charger and all. Sweet ride as seen at the Donald E. Convention Center hosting Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals
What an incredible car. The supercharger, the color, the magnesium wheels and all of it in unrestored original shape. Someone knew this was a unique vehicle worth preserving.

Those models are as phat as all get-out!!!
My Dad was an Engineer out at Cape Kennedy in the late 50's/60's and early 70's and one of his buddies had a Studebaker Hawk...as I recall it had a Ford 289 engine in it and was supercharged...when he'd bring it by the house all the kids would gather around it...we all thought it looked like a Batman car.

Studebaker had a 289 ci v8 @289 hp Supercharged /325 hp I had one in the mid 70s a true 150 mph car lol on bias-ply tires no power brakes no power steering lol man am i lucky to be alive ;)
The Studebaker 289 is NOT a Ford motor.

Who is she?
this is not, and never was intended to be a muscle car. It is by name, design and definition a Grand Touring car, thus the name Gran Turismo. I am a collector with multiple Studebakers, including GT's. IT's NOT a muscle car.
