- This is a review of the Toys "R" Us Exclusive Legacy Power Morpher Green Ranger/White Ranger Edition. This Gold Legacy Morpher was released to celebrate the Power Rangers 20th Anniversary last year (though it doesn't specifically have the Power Rangers 20 logo on it). It comes with the Dragon and Tigerzord Power Coins and I think it looks pretty sweet. It has all the same functionality as the regular Legacy Power Morpher and the Gold paint looks nice.

I wish people weren’t selling these for such insane prices 😩 but I guess that’s my fault for missing out when these were first released

unknown person Thanks man .. update time checked some local EB games near me when malls were allowed to open and scored the Green dagger and White Saba sword at two different local EB games in Ottawa then a friend in Toronto picked up the Green and White morpher with coins at an EB game near him then shipped hear in Ottawa !! Totally happy even though i was late to this line i still got what i wanted 🇨🇦❤️❤️

I'd differ from your point of view. I feel as if the sdcc version's shiny finish matches the original legacy morpher better because of how metallic it was. Although the retail version coins match the original legacy coins a lot better because of the weathering. Great review though, very thorough! I'll be doing a review of my retail gold morpher along side my other morphers (orignal/sdcc) soon!

The only coin from the core 5 Rangers I use on this morpher is the Red Ranger's coin because I'm sure as you know, his morpher turned gold when he would summon the Dragon powers.
Weathered coins are better than shinning gold coins IMO.

I agree. There's a more gritty look to them, makes you feel like a veteran ranger powering up again after a long time.... Nostalgia.
I just unboxed mine and unfortunately the off button doesn't work. The sounds/lights come on after pressing the button, even when switched off. Bummer since this means I can't get the communicator sound to play. Anybody else have a similar problem?
I wish I waited to get the later release of the legacy Morpher with the improved electronics.

There's been a million new versions of the MMPR morphers and till date they still have the Zyuranger logo on the back (that big Z)
i dont remember the first morpher from the 90s playing a theme song i think it just played effects. but then again this was like 20 years ago lol.
I wonder if they would ever release the next two greatest Power Rangers behind the Green Ranger. The only other Power Rangers that ever came close to the awesome of the Green Ranger. The two Rangers that Rita, Zedd and even Ivan Ooze feared above all others.

Great Review. I Found One Of These At My Local Toys R Us. It Was The Last One On The Shelf. So I Put It On Layaway. I've Been Wanting This For So Long. I Can Hardly Wait To Get It Out And Open It.
You know how you was showing the other power coins in the greens/white ranger morpher if you remember the Japanese version of that morpher for zyuranger came with all six coins not just the Dragon coin which was cool that they did that
I picked up a couple at TRU, I was disappointed when the I saw the laquer on my dragon coin was faded on the dragon symbol top edges.
Man with the Dragon flute coming out is amazing, but if Bandai makes a legacy Saba....I'm done take my money lol

How come ur original legacy morpher will same function with the gold one? I mean how u make that will appear all 4 lights when the morpher open, and how u make that original morpher no need to keep pressing the button but can continue play the theme song?

Waited and waited for this to hit clearance at GameStop and it finally paid off. Picked one up today for $40. Only downside is that someone beat me to the normal Morpher.

Hassan, can I ask you something? the two morphers of your video are released to celebrate the Power Rangers 20th Anniversary? because I have seen a lot of videos where the lights are different in both morphers: when you press the button of legacy power morpher (the morpher of red, black, blue, yellow and pink ranger) it only lights up one side of the morpher, and in the legacy power morpher green/white, it lights up the 4 sides of the morpher at the same time, and here in your video, they light up the 4 sides of both morphers
The Legacy Morpher went through different versions. The first version had only lights on when you pushed the button and you had to hold down the button for it to play the theme song. This is the version I reviewed a long time ago. Then they released a newer version that looked the same but all four lights lit up when you pushed the button and you didn't have to hold it down for the theme song. That's the regular Power Morpher you see in this video.
The Green/White Power Morpher is the same as the new version of the regular Power Morpher... all four lights lit up and just push the button once to play the theme song.
really? wow! how can I recognize the regular power morpher of your video? I want to buy it to, but I'm afraid to buy the other morpher. Between the box of the regular power morpher and the old one, there is a difference? I wanted to buy the green /white power morpher because I thought that the green/white power morpher was the only morpher where the 4 lights lit up, please help me
I believe the newer version does not have an "Only at Toys "R" Us" sticker on it. It also has a different number stamped at the bottom of the box... I can't remember what it is, but google V3 Power Morpher and you should be able to find it easily. If your store has it, it's very likely the new version. Although most stores don't have it anymore because the Green/White Morpher is out now instead.

i want tommys morpher so badly but now its close to 600 bucks. i just got the other rangers morpher, sucks it was 79 bucks but oh well. never knew they came out with these til a few years ago

it wouldn't be soo bad to have the white tiger coin be a little shinier than the other ones, being the white ranger was suppose to be a newly created ranger. where as the other power coins were suppose to be around for centuries.

Hassan, if you look in the japanese version morph which is Zyuranger you're going to see them pull the back handle and the they wiil say "Dino Buckler!" then morph ( I'm a kid).
In japan dragon buckler has 2 coins too but its has tyrano coin and dragon coin

Only thing I wish they would have done was do what they did with the hasbro version and have the color of the rangers light shine when you put the different coins in the morpher otherwise what's the difference which coin you put in.

What's really nice about having both morphers and all 7 power coins is the interchangeability. In Zyuranger, whoever the ranger was that wore the green ranger's dragon armor, their morpher turned gold as sort of a powered up mode for that ranger. You can see the red or black ranger wearing a gold morpher in the episodes in which they wore the dragon armor. That provides you with some cosplay/roleplay ideas. Given the fact that the green ranger had a gold morpher could be a reason why I find the new American version of the green ranger costume unappealing because it's the one Disney made for Dino Thunder and not accurate to the original costume with the silver on the helmet and a silver morpher used instead of a gold one on the belt.

I display them in my room. I never keep things in boxes, I don't see the point of buying it then personally.
