- This is a review of the Legacy Saba the Talking Tiger Saber from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a part of the Legacy toyline. This is a Toys "R" Us exclusive item and retails for $99.99 at the time of this review. This item features some slick metallic paint, great lights and sounds, some heavy diecast metal pieces, and is huge in size. This item is amazing and is definitely one of my most favorite Power Rangers items ever, so I absolutely recommend this for any collector or fan of the show.

I had this exact same toy when I was 6yo. This little tiger was one of my first friends.

I love the fact it plays the full theme song. Wish they would of thrown in the white rangers theme on one of the buttons though

the fourth phrase is from the series "White Light" when tommy becomes the white ranger and during battle with his new powers tommy asks saba to call jason for back up therefore the fourth phrase

Great review! I have the Legacy Saba on lay-buy, and also won the Legacy Dragon Dagger in a competition that Bandai-Namco held last year. I can't wait to add this to my fledgling Power Rangers collection.

Legacy Saba is the biggest toy weapon of all legacy toys of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It's so amazing it's so much worth of a collectors item.

I have both and i love them but Saba is fantastic and like you said the weight of it in your hand is amazing. Love the vid.
The Fact that the Legacy Weapons/Role Playing items play the Power Rangers Theme song, is the BIGGEST SELLING POINT for me!!!!

You know what would be cool? If a PR villain found the Dragon Dagger, Saba, and the Falconzord remote control buried underneath the ruins of the Command Center, and summoned all three of those zords and combined them into DragonTigerFalconZord. Tommy would have to come back and reclaim them, or be forced to destroy them

Don't leave the batteries in if you aren't going to use it for a while, unfortunately opening the battery compartment requires the full powers and abilities of all six rangers, and 12 jedi knights.
Is it a coincidence that Tony Oliver played Saba and the white rangers name was Tommy Oliver?

this one is way better than the original considering the motor in the mouth moves compared to the original which only opened the mouth and talked with out moving up and down

I had this as a child
I love the Legacy Saba the Talking Tiger Saber, but there are a few flaws that I wish the manucaturers had fixed and corrected. Well for starters, I wish they hadn't made the blade extend and push in and made it one whole length and had painted half of the blade white and made the stripe holes on the blade solid plastic painted black instead of see through. Here is the linbk to a production photo of the Saba prop that was used for the TV series soi that you can see the detail of the blade that I wish they had did to the Legacy Saba's blade too img2.wikia.nocookie.net/fanfiction/images/2/2c/Saba.png, And I also wish they had left out the two buttons on the handle that makes the swishing and clashing sounds and one of the buttons that makes the roar sound because Saba never did roar or make any swishing and clashing sounds of the TV series. The only two buttons that I would've been statisfied with is an on/off slide switch without the roar sound and to make it talk and I would've been satisfied if they had given the roar sound to the Legacy White Tigerzord instead, AND I also wish they didn't make the eyes randomly flash when making talk. If I were in charge of the manufacturing of the Legacy Saba the Talking Tiger Saber, I would've had those flaws fixed and corrected. And to those who has an Aniki-made White Ranger costume, I would highly recommend contacting Aniki requesting of him to make a strong leather holster with velcro to hold the Legacy Saba the Talking Tiger Saber!
