Watched the whole thing. It's really fun how everyone's brains work differently. I feel like I understood some of the questions that you had to work on for a bit very quickly and then there were some that you got quickly that were much tougher to me.
43:17-57:47 I think I found the answer: you need to have, in every line or column : a line, a dot, a big circle and a little circle. So the answer was big circle + line! Sorry for this messy explanation, English isn't my native language
Yeah, it's as simple as that - pattern recognition rather than abstract maths as Gibi was trying. It's so easy to over-think these things and once you go down a certain path it becomes impossible to see the wood for the trees.
I would say also a big circle in a line, but I figured it out as "dot is there 3 times, small circle is there 3 times, line and big circle are there only 2 times = big circle with line is missing"
Yes same! I had this on in the background but checked in on a few questions and this one just sort of lined up in my brain pretty quickly. I really wanted to be like Gibi!! It's not math!! It's just like sudoku! But at the same time I do find it interesting to see how people approach problems

Figured I'd make a list of every answer+ logic involved if I ,Gibi or someone in the comments figured it out for the people interested; (also googled for English words as I'm not a native speaker and those were kinda though). Also included whether or not Gibi got the answer right. Q1: +0+1+2 etc sequence, Answer: 28; Correct Q2: Volute Answer: spiral; Wrong Q3: Assent (which is agreement) Answer: refusal; Correct Q4: Pattern seems to be take away one left and put one on the right; so 4-0,3-1,2-2,1-3 etc. Answer: Top right; Correct Q5: Both horizontally and vertically the number is always the previous 2 added together. Answer: Top right; Correct Q6: Anagram. Answer: Honey & Milk; Correct Q7: Self-explanatory. Answer: 3; Correct Q8: 2nd line is the first one in reverse starting from the right to left. Answer: Top right; Correct Q9: Every horizontal/vertical line includes every thing once (one dot, one small circle, one big circle) So a big circle and line are missing. Answer: Middle right; Wrong Q10: Type of journal and cartridge for a gun Answer: Magazine; Wrong Q11: Every horizontal/vertical line is added/substracted(if overlapping) together. @@eb3b411 Obviously the answers are weighted and don't all count for the same amount. These tests also usually have an error margin of 15, average IQ being around 100 (85-115). Gibi also got 65% correct, not 50% (26/40 assuming the 2 maybes were correct) But to answer your question, 200 is insanely high, the highest ever recorded is like 228 or something. I personally always found these tests weird, because you can literally 'guess' every single answer correctly without knowing the logic and still get a high evaluation. Figuring out the logic, then coming to the correct answer is the goal, not just getting the answer correct. It's why generally you're supposed to do several of these tests for a more accurate result.
#9 was answer 5. Each 1x3 line of the 3x3 box had 1 dot, 1 line, 1 little circle, and 1 big circle. This pattern stays true throughout. For the bottom across, and the right down to stay true to this pattern, they would would need a line, and a big circle, which is answer choice 5.
I went to same conclusion with other logic, let's say this is 1-9 on a num pad. 3-7 diagonal has dots, small circles are on 6, 8 and 1, so it would be safe to assume that big circles are on 1-9 diagonal, and lines fallow same pattern as small circles, so result would be big circle with a line.
Question 8 Solution: if you look at the very first top circle and the very last bottom circle, they are the same pattern but inverted. Same with the second top circle and second to last bottom circle. Each circle is inverted to its diagonal opposite, if that makes sense, meaning the answer actually was indeed 4 and your instinct was correct 😅
I haven't finished it yet so I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure it's the one in the middle on the right. If my train of thought is right if it's the big circle with the line through it no matter from what direction you look every line has every Symbol in it
I always found it interesting how different people work thorugh different problems. I'm solving the problem in my head and listening to how your solving it is pretty interesting content lol.
Question 16 was a doozy. The trick is to use the 10 o'clock and 12 o'clock times to your advantage. There are 2 hours between 10 and noon, that is 120 minutes. Set 10 o'clock as the start, i.e. 0. Now suppose the number we're after is x minutes before noon. (We could have used ? or :) as our unknown but math people usually go with x). The current time is 120-x. How is that related to the time 40 minutes ago? Well, we take 4x added to the start and add another 40 minutes to it to get to the current time of 120-x. We have 120-x=4x+40, a nifty little equation we'll solve for x. Here we go! Subtract 40 from both sides to get 80-x=4x. Now add x to both sides to get 80=5x. And next? You guessed it! Divide both sides by 5 to get 16=x. Let's check. noon minus 16 minutes is 11:44. 10 o'clock plus 4x16+40 is 10 o'clock plus 104 minutes. Let's convert 60 minutes to an hour. That takes us to 11 o'clock something. We get 11 plus 44 minutes, that is 11:44. They match! We're done! x is in fact 16. it is 16 minutes before noon!
Your method to find the answer is right, but you misunderstood the question and invert the two sides of equation. The right answer is 64, which means the time now is 10.56, and 40 mins ago the time was 10.16. As a result the number 64 was 4 times of 16 which is the number of minutes that past 10 am 40 mins ago. I hope my explaination is clear enough.
@@eyadahmed6153 This seems like one of those trick questions, depending on how you read it you will get a different answer. I came out with 16 as the answer as well. 120 minutes - 40 minutes of dead time, 80 minutes. 80 divided by 5 is 16 so its 11:44, 16 minutes till noon and 64 minutes after 10 (4x16). I understand how you got your answer as well I guess its just about perception. Not too sure what gibi was doing though lol she confused the hell out of me
@@eyadahmed6153 The answer is 16 because the question is how many minutes is it before noon. The rest of the question is just there to help you figure it out.
It’s 16, no need to work it out. It’s literally question ‘16’ out ‘40’. And if that’s not enough she started the question at just after 64 mins remaining, which is 16x4. See, no need for complex equations
Question 20 was tough but I got it: You multiply the first two numbers of the three digit number and then add the third number and the answer is the two digit number. For example, you guessed 584:44 (which was right btw so lucky guess lol), so you do 5 times 8 which is 40. Then add the 4, which gives you 44!
Another solution to that one is “right”, but probably not the intended answer: the three sample sets are all an odd number, followed by another odd number. Only the last of the solution choices does this, so that seemed like the right answer to me.
@@wordmanward This is incorrect. The question specifically asks for a similar "relationship" between the two numbers in each pair, and your answer is just a general rule that has nothing to do with the relationship between the numbers.
For question 9, just look at each individual row of 3 and find what's missing. Every row has a solid circle, a 'line' circle, and a horizontal line. So you know the missing tile needs a horizontal line... That excludes 4 and 6 from our available options. Then, realize that there's a total of three circles for each row. No circles repeat themselves in any of the rows, so you know that is must be option 5!! A horizontal line with the size circle that's missing from each of the rows it's touching.
I went horizontally: Big circle moves to the right as it goes down the row; the other two go left. That is why the larger circle and the black circle were together in the same square in the second row.
For anyone wondering about the warmup problem at 14:53, I think you add the digits of the top numbers, then add five to get the bottom numbers. I think the blank would be 11.
Hi, Gibi if this comment ever reaches you I have a weirdly specific ASMR trigger request. Can you please do a video with Amazon Alexa whispering to her (she whispers back) and asking her fun and interactive questions about anything it could be science, biology, space, singers and movie stars facts, fun facts about dreams you are so fun and innovative I know you'll think of something amazing
Hey Gibi, I'm a teacher and I'm wondering if you've tried different coloured lens glasses? We have kids in our school who have similar problems with reading and concentrating and either printing work on coloured paper, or they have specialised coloured glasses. It might be worth looking at
Tip for the future: I noticed that you tend to go at patterns as if they are math questions, but they almost always are "what do you see" questions. Take question 9 where you spent so much time calculating an answer: What you can see is that every open cirkel is followed by a line, every line is followed by a dot and every dot is followed by an open cirkel. That means the answer has a line in it. Now which line answer? You can see that every shape on that diagonal also has a bigger cirkel. So it's the line with the big cirkel. No math :) Hope that helps

2:24:30 140 is not moderately gifted, 120 is moderately gifted. 140 is the top 1 percent, approaching the genius range. Either you’re incredibly intelligent, or you took a false test.
2:05:56 - The answer to question 27 i "1" I think. You the number in each small circle equals the bigger number minus the smaller number in the opposite side of the big circle. So the question mark would be 9 minus 8. This fits with all the other numbers as well as far as I can see.
@43:15 you chose correct. The reason is because of opposite filled / open circles. Look at the top left. It is north closed, east open, south open. Compare it to the bottom right one. North open, east closed, south closed. They are opposites. Next compare the second from the top left to the right once. It is West open, North open, East closed. Compare it to the one left of the bottom right. It is West closed, North Closed, East open. Opposites. This pattern continues for the whole board, so the one in question would be opposite of the one in the second from the top right. Second from the top right is west open, east closed. Therefore your answer, west closed, east open, as you picked.
Thank you so much for opening up about your math struggle with ADHD I struggle with both and am 32 I totally understand your doing amazing me and my daughter who is 9 love these videos to get to sleep :) xxxxxx
1:58:10 - For question 22: I've got Endear, tender, agenda and extend, with "end" being the 3 letter word. Though the 2nd one could possibly be render instead of tender.
Its great to know I am not the only one who suffers from a "mind-block" during math. Thank you for this video, I love the mind and how it works through the everyday work and education we do and learn.
1:29:20 so what your answer here is saying is that it's 96 minutes before 12 so it's 10:24am However it says 40 minutes ago you were X minutes past 10am. 40 minutes ago would be 9:48am according to your answer which isn't even past 10am so can't possibly be correct The answer I got was 16 mins. 11:44 - 40 mins is 11:04 which is 64 minutes past 10. 64/16 is 4
I have extreme confidence that #8 was in fact answer 4. It's complicated to explain in writing but ill try...Invert the colors of the diagonal opposites moving inward. So the bottom left is a color invert of the top right, and the bottom right in a color invert of the top left. Then just move towards the middle and you'll see that answer 4 is a color invert of next circle inward from the top right. It's 2 AM and I probably just wasted 10 minutes on a comment...at least I feel good about it.
i also think its answer 4 because from left to right starting on the top row its 3 dots 3 dots 2 dots 2 dots repeating so were looking for 2 dots and none of the two dot circles in the pattern have them next to each other so process of elimination it should be two dots on opposite ends of the circle - answer 4 lol
It's #4 because if you look at it, the bottom row is the same as the top row, but inverted and backwards. She mentioned the 3 on the far top right and far bottom left and was like "ur so close"
I have dyslexia. Because of it I don’t read many books. I’m a musician who sucks at reading music because of my dyslexia. But I’ve released three albums with my band so it hasn’t held me back. I can see it didn’t hold you back either. Awesome!
With question 9 (56:50): the answer is big circle with a line through it. Each row has to have all 5 elements: two circles, dot, and a line. First row tiles added together: two circles, dot, and a line. Second row tiles added together: two circles, dot, and a line. The third row has a dot and circle. It's missing the bigger circle and the line. I hope that helps lol.
Saw two questions lol Elucidate was the word. You hit I, it was U And for the final question, if you added the first 5 numbers together, the following could be simplified with +the new number and -the first as you worked through. You were close there, it basically it shifted from 22, 20, 22, 20 until it hit a -2 and +1. Which means all you'd have to do is subtract the old number from the new one until it gave you 1 instead of 2.
43:13 question 8 the opposite circles complete each other ie top left fills in bottom right, bottom left fills in top right next row in 2nd in from top left will match bottom right 2nd in and so on
Your makeup is SO PRETTY. I know this isn't supposed to be the main subject of this video (and I do enjoy the content a lot) but damn it you are gorgeous ❤️ That being said, I've been a fan of your channel since I found you and you are doing amazing! Thank you for everything❤️
Its not actually, The answer 56 which makes the time to be 11 04. The question says that 40 minutes ago, the number of minutes to 12 at that time was equal to the number of minutes past 10 also at that time. Let's name the number of minutes to 12 right now x, and the number of minutes to 12, 40 minutes ago, y. The equation we have is x=y-40. Then let's point out a simple information: the number of minutes past 12 is equal to (the number of minutes past 10) + 120, as 2 hours has passed. We can also say that if the number of minutes to 12 is 15, we can say that it is 12 past (-15). Therefore, based on what is written above, the time right now is 12 past (-x) or 10 past (120-x). The time 40 minutes ago was 12 past (-y) or 10 past (120-y). However we also know that 40 minutes ago, the number of minutes to 12, i.e y, was 4 times greater that the number of minutes past 10. Hence the time 40 minutes ago was also 10 past (y/4). We can see that 120-y=y/4. This gives the value of to be 96. As shown in the first in the first equation, x=y-40. Therefore, x=96-40=56. We have our answer.
Oepends on the SD (standard deviation) of the test. A 130 on an SD15 test is equal to a 148 on an SD24 test. People tend to present their IQ measured by a higher SD to inflate the numbers.
I think we all know that the results are bs, there’s no chance she got that high of a score with some of the answers she had. Especially considering she didn’t even finish
@@CZProductions The Wechsler test uses SD16, Cattell's Scale uses SD24 - there is no norm. SD15 is just the commonly known one, but there is no regulation for SD15s somehow being more official or valid. If you read about some random actor celebrity having an official IQ of 150, you best bet it's Cattell's Scale. Which is still 2 SDs above average, so pretty smart - but not genius level.
Doing the test at the same time and only not getting 2 answers (apart from the final 2) I am a goddamn genius if she scored 140. On a regular IQ test, I used to score 136 but that was 18 years ago and I'm pretty sure I got dumber over the years
On question 9, she was looking at absolutely everything apart from the diagonal patterns. Two lines, three dots, two small circles. The diagonal line containing our solution is big circles, so we know a big circle has to be there. The middle big circle has to contain the dot since it intercepts another rule saying the dots must be diagonal. The top left big circle contains a little circle from the lower diagonal line; so the mirror imagine for our missing big circle would be one with the line going through.
Watching this video while completing a school assignment was very relaxing and helpful for me to focus, I highly recommend. It felt like I had someone working on the assignment with me, even though she was doing her own thing. Personally I was able to complete so much of my essay because of this video. As always this video was amazing and I hope to definitely see more like this one.
Omg you and I are like exactly the same in terms of education and undiagnosed ADHD! I just got on ADHD meds and I’m 28. It has changed my life. I almost cried the first time I took it because of how well I could focus. I definitely feel you on the test taking struggle!
so for question 8 the pattern was the inverted on the opposite side so the top right would be inverted to bottom left and it keeps matching that so top left inverted to bottom right and so on. I'm proud that I got that question in 40 seconds.
Gibi! You picked the right answer at question 8 - the reason why is: the top row was the same as the bottom row, but youve had to read the top row from left to right, the bottom row from right to left. Then you could see they were the same, but mirrored and the colors of the dots were in opposite colors (sorry for my crappy English, im Dutch)
I think the answer to number 16 should be 16. 11:44 is 16 minutes before noon. 40 minutes ago it was 11:04. 16 x 4 = 64, and 64 minutes past 10am is 11:04. This test was fun but HARD!
Yea the whole time watching that part I wanted to kms I can't even understand what the thought process was with tryna make the numbers equal each other and reaching 96😂
#19 was easy for what I thought at least. The first one is mirrored to the last one and the second one is mirrored to the third. The 4th one was the only one not mirrored so that's the one I would have picked x props to you for doing this!

Answer: 16; Wrong
Q17: The sum of the 1st and 3rd number = sum of 2nd + 4th, (both horizontally and vertically) so 4+4 = 8 and 6+2 = 8 for horizontal line 1 (4+8 = 7+5 vertical line 1), 5+3 and 7 + 1 for the last line;
Answer: 1; Correct
Q18: Values are 1-2-3-4-5; 3 = 5 means it has to be linked to 4-1 (3/2 impossible because duplicate 3) we also know 1 has to be linked to 5-4-3 because the sum is 12 and similarly 4 has to be linked to 5-3-2-1

with 50% correct answers she got 140. So the maximum is 280?
This is helpful, thank you!

I agree. Thats what I saw too
I saw the pattern that each figure had 3 and only the line and big circle was missing something
im still so confused by this
@@tenkller it’s certainly complicated
Posted this on the other video about fifteen seconds before it got privated lmao
I also noted that there is a pattern of 3322332233
I haven't finished it yet so I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure it's the one in the middle on the right. If my train of thought is right if it's the big circle with the line through it no matter from what direction you look every line has every Symbol in it
She qeust it right
Q9 was also 5 I think
I always found it interesting how different people work thorugh different problems. I'm solving the problem in my head and listening to how your solving it is pretty interesting content lol.
I don't need two hours and twenty six minutes to figure out that this won't go well for me.
same :’)
What about the 45 sec??
Is it not 18, because 18x4 is 62 which would put it at 11:02 from 10. Then you add 40 minutes to make it 11:42 which leaves 18 minutes remaining
Every time you said "I'm gonna go with that and move on with my life" I felt uplifted and at peace 😌

Thanks, this one just didn't click for me.

@@robynspelts5688 I was going from top to bottom vertically, and then over the next row, and top to bottom vertically again.... so the second option

Tip for the future: I noticed that you tend to go at patterns as if they are math questions, but they almost always are "what do you see" questions. Take question 9 where you spent so much time calculating an answer:
What you can see is that every open cirkel is followed by a line, every line is followed by a dot and every dot is followed by an open cirkel. That means the answer has a line in it. Now which line answer? You can see that every shape on that diagonal also has a bigger cirkel. So it's the line with the big cirkel. No math :)
Hope that helps

1:29:20 so what your answer here is saying is that it's 96 minutes before 12 so it's 10:24am
However it says 40 minutes ago you were X minutes past 10am. 40 minutes ago would be 9:48am according to your answer which isn't even past 10am so can't possibly be correct
The answer I got was 16 mins. 11:44 - 40 mins is 11:04 which is 64 minutes past 10.
64/16 is 4
Even if you weren't that confident in your answers, I really enjoyed getting an insight into how you think. I think I just discovered a new interest!
That’s what I came up with as well, and you explained it perfectly.

Saw two questions lol
Elucidate was the word. You hit I, it was U
And for the final question, if you added the first 5 numbers together, the following could be simplified with +the new number and -the first as you worked through.
You were close there, it basically it shifted from 22, 20, 22, 20 until it hit a -2 and +1.
Which means all you'd have to do is subtract the old number from the new one until it gave you 1 instead of 2.

Q16: Answer is 16. Add up 40 minutes and 5 equal time ranges to get 120 minutes. The equation is: 120=40+5x
Its not actually,
The answer 56 which makes the time to be 11 04.

@@dd80_rules90 yeah no way this is an official result
@@CZProductions The Wechsler test uses SD16, Cattell's Scale uses SD24 - there is no norm.
GIBII!! I NEEED a the toast coster video! A new updated one. I love the toaster coaster!!
Omg you and I are like exactly the same in terms of education and undiagnosed ADHD! I just got on ADHD meds and I’m 28. It has changed my life. I almost cried the first time I took it because of how well I could focus.
I definitely feel you on the test taking struggle!
The way I would've scraped the whole video idea after it got tough lmao kudos to you Gibi
so for question 8 the pattern was the inverted on the opposite side so the top right would be inverted to bottom left and it keeps matching that so top left inverted to bottom right and so on. I'm proud that I got that question in 40 seconds.
Best community! Hope everyone is relaxed :)
Love the green nails, literally my fav colour!
Shout out to all my Dyscalculia brothers and sisters. Gibi, we got you.
Thats what I got.
Yea the whole time watching that part I wanted to kms I can't even understand what the thought process was with tryna make the numbers equal each other and reaching 96😂
Holy moly a *five minute* ad
Gibi's raking it in
dyscalculia!! that’s the “math dyslexia”, it’s very common among ppl who have adhd
Time to recharge ourselves to start a nice week! 🤍 Wishing you all a good night sleep!! Sweet dreams 😴💖
Apparently Gibi has the IQ score of a genius 😂
why was i so invested in the ad? helix?? has a sister company??? omg !!!
Hi gibi I hope you see this been a big fan for a fat min now and I love your vids keep up the good work and sending nothing but good vibes to you✌
#19 was easy for what I thought at least. The first one is mirrored to the last one and the second one is mirrored to the third. The 4th one was the only one not mirrored so that's the one I would have picked x props to you for doing this!
I just hope the best for this community, have a great sleep everyone :D
