It’s such a good market, make sure to go on Sundays! The coffee guy is only there on Sundays, not Saturdays.

Hey guys, it was nice to see the CM footage. My daughter lives and works there and I think is (proud dad!) the best visa agent is northern Thailand. (: So I visit her often, a couple months ago and I'm back on Jan 23. I can't wait, although I heard the smokey season came early. Anyway, I'm writing to say thanks for the video. My daughter brought me to the Jing Jai Market for coffee and lunch. A very nice relaxed place. I wish you continued success for your channel. You are both so nice and relaxed and genuine. I saw you on Reeshard Travel a couple times. I've been watching his show since my daughter was a guest a couple times. So I learned about you there a while back. Wishing you a great 2023!

WOW a bit of coincidence here....I have lived in Chiang Mai since 2006 and visiting for many years before that. I have never been to Jing jai Market.
Yesterday, after dropping my daughter off at her Uni dorm, I decided to go to Tesco near these markets and driving in I noticed a sign "farmers markets"...but driving so couldn't read properly and thought, I'll re check that on google maps when I get home......
Of course though, when I got home I had already forgotten....
And then your wonderful video pops up like a friendly reminder....

Haha the universe is telling you to go to this market 😄 Jing Jai Market is open both Saturdays and Sundays but we prefer Sundays because there are more vendors and our fav coffee guy is there too.

We just fell in love with Chiang Mai. Just stayed there for nearly 2 months from July to end of August :)
Chiang Mai does that to people 😆 We first moved there for 6 months, quickly became 2.5 years!
I laughed out loud when Note made that face while the lady was trying to draw him on the cup. She did such a great job on both of you in my option. Noodles looked very soft and so very yummy. What a great name for an ice cream shop. I would have had coconut. Great to see people at this walking street market.
She was so quick at drawing and it turned out so cute! We didn’t want to use for coffee and saved it instead 😄

I am just a hobby photographer but I noticed 2 scenes in this video
1. At Wat Pha Lat where the camera is looking over the water and the both of are walking in the distance
2. Where the both of you are sitting on the bench eating ice cream. I love the color of the wall and the cars driving by in the distance. It's like a separation of busy city life and having a very relaxed moment...2 completely different worlds only separated a few meters from one another. I love it big time
So in my humble opinion you already are cracking photographers
In a few weeks I will be in Chiang Mai and already plan to visit Wat Pha Lat once again and for sure I am going to put the ice cream shop location on my map

The Morning Market and the Coffee Man was amazing. The food at the noodle shop looked delicious. The Hidden Temple was a lovely place to chill out and contemplate life. Love the Door Bell Ice Cream Shop, what a unique idea. The Sunday Market looked very busy, awesome. 🙏👍😍

An idea for you guys: Teach a Thai word at the end of every video :) It's such an interesting language, but so hard for West folks. I lived in CM for 3 months and can't wait to come back later this year! Have fun guys

WE CAME TO CHIANG MAI TWICE IN THE 2000s ,STAYING AT THE CHANG MAI HOTEL,NEVER SAW THIS MARKET.THEY WERE THE BEST HOLIDAYS WE EVER HAD ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!VISITED NIGHT MARKET MOST NIGHTS,ARE THEY ALL STILL THERE.ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO
The Sunday Walking Street is still busy but the Night Bazaar markets are unfortunately very quiet now.

People also buy roasted coffee beans and cold brew from him so he's probably making a profit every Sunday which is very good. It's such a welcoming atmosphere. We hope you guys will visit him one day!

We definitely have to check out this market. So cute. This temple is one of the most beautiful we have visited so far ❤❤❤ so peaceful in the lush green scenery in the middle of the jungle
If you're into hiking, you can try doing the Monk's Trail that will pass this temple to go up to Doi Suthep. We've always enjoyed this trek :)

Why have I never heard of Door Bell Ice cream? I lived in Chiang Mai for almost 3 years. 🤣 Putting on my visit list for next time. I remember the first time I went to that Walking Market it flooded. 20mins later, it stopped & then all the stall owners cleaned up & started again.
It’s a pretty cute little ice cream shop 😊 I wonder if they get annoyed from people pressing the doorbell haha
