- The time has finally come for me to leave Korea so I made this video as a way to remember my past 5 years. Teaching took up the bulk of my time and energy - I really thought it was my career. It’s funny how things change.
Anyway, this video is my sentimental way of preserving time I suppose. It was fun to edit and only completely cringy watching back my old videos 🙈

I am Korean. Sad and happy at the same time on your touching Korean escape. you're right. The city is a concrete jungle, the air is 59% fine dust from China, the people are cold, the work is harsh. It's true. I think you have all felt the darkness of everyday life that Koreans go through. As a foreigner. High suicide rates, extreme working hours, low fertility rates, endless drinking and smoking, countless skyscrapers and skyscrapers under construction all the time. However, 70% of Korea's land is mountainous. It is full of concrete jungle and fine dust in that beautiful nature. Where did that famous Korean traditional culture 정 is go? The more you think about it, the weirder it gets. That's right. Korea is extreme. Gorgeous cities, poor old people, cold eyes and tears, dirty air and green nature coexist. Perhaps you know summer and winter in Korea. What kind of country is Korea? Even looking back on the country's long history, life has never been easy. In Korea, all of that is attractive, but at the same time painful. I hope you are happy. Thank you for visiting Korea and living in Korea for 5 years. 안녕
