hoooo leeee geeez Stock Bottom end..... A Veyron does the same in 16 seconds, a Koenigsegg Agera R does it in 14 seconds, Hennessey Venom GT does it in 13 seconds... 19 seconds for a engine designed in the 80's and still using stock pistons, conrods and crankshaft, I think it is a pretty legit number.... GTR FTW AGAIN!!!! GO GO GODZILLA!!!
Gonzarelli there is a reason why those engines are so famous and became motorsport legends... just like the 2JZ from Toyota.. World record is 1089whp with stock bottom end. U can have that amount of power on a stock bottom end, but not for too long, something will go booom sooner than ever...
beyondthelol Like if u knew anything about RB engines. A shitty RB20 is capable of over 600whp and mine own RB20 made over 400whp. a RB26 can easily hit 700-800whp on stock bottom end but reliability is compromised.
To be fair, that's because the wheels were spinning on launch, that's why there's a pause. The speedo is confused and the wheels need to catch grip before getting a reading
The bike still has a lot less wind resistance because it is smaller. The bike also LOSES LESS POWER THROUGH THE DRIVETRAIN due to having a smaller drivetrain and less resistance. It's why AWD can launch fast but from a roll, RWD AND FWD can pull on it.
@IIIHateIII This video has another camera too, its done on an airfield strip, but ive seen the car live at a show(Denmarks fastest car). Its built by a guy thats both an excellent driver and mechanic, Nicholas Kiesa(hence the Kismo name for the car) and he made it to F1, but had to drive for Minardi so 1 season only there, but he did win a F3000 gp in Monaco(though Wirdheim "gave" it to him :)). Its a homebuilt car made in Swiss(tax laws) and not street legal in Denmark but in UK its fine iirc
I have to admit gm has built some really good engines. I am unbelievably impressed with the new Cadillac CTS-V. Unbelievable handling and performance and makes the BMW M5 run for its mommy.
Gas gauge went down simply because of crazy acceleration the float went all the way back with the gas movement and the floating sensor got moved either way he defanitly went through alot of gas but not noticable from the gauge after he stops
The large numbers ARE MPH. That being said... I've wondered why that is considering it's a right-side steering column but obviously, there is alot about this car which is custom so.... but those are MPH. I originally saw this video somewhere else when it was called, "0-190 MPH in 19 seconds." ............. This is one of my favorite videos ever. .........
@ibr180 are you sure the steering wheel would rock like that on a dyno or the camera for that matter.. to me it looks like he is just going down a straight... but then again ive never been on a dyno so idk
@mallah656 You see his right hand is on the wheel? not the left? because the skyline driver seat is on the right side of the car and he has to shift with his left hand.
@MegaDannyboy90 200 on his dash is in MPH... The 300 he is referring to is in KPH. Look closely at the dash. You'll see MPH in the middle. The bigger numbers are the MPH and the smaller less noticeable ones are KPH. It doesn't really matter either way hes pushing 200 miles per hour lol
It depends on whether the car was imported or not. In all other countries besides the United States kmph are the large ones. I am willing to bet that those are kmph since it even takes a Buggati longer to reach 200 mph.
@DTMRM8 Maybe not on a dyno, but the wheelspin doesn't sound realistic, like the engine is not working at all during it. But then it's also possible, that there is just so much power, that the car spins wheels on idle... :D
Many skylines are imported from overseas (read: Japan), and came right-hand drive. They can be federally legalized if modifications are made to improve the structural integrity to meet US safety regulations... but I won't go into that story.
@ibr180 Nope, its done on an airfield. There is another video showing the other camera put at the other end of the track filming him there. On top of that, Ive seen the car live and there is 20k witnesses that can swear this car aint fake or faking it.
@Mijaycapri79 Google it if you need reassurance. While you can pull out a fuse in early GTRs to make it RWD all GTRs are 4WD. Not being rude mate, just clarifying.
and this is why we LOVE the GT-R's ....... and if you disagree, move along man, nobody here cares for your negative input ....... why are you wasting your time watching/commenting on something you don't like, I'll never understand that
Yo man, you're right this must be some king of tuned version, because its damn fast, this is faster than some much more expensive cars; it's only takes 4 s to 100....wow
@02turbotypeS The video has the titel 0-300, it must be kmh. So the Big numbers must be mph, the small numbers in the middle might be kmh! When he shifts in, the arrow jumps to 40mph in
13 років тому
@Dualshock21 Yes it was. He went over 180mph, that's over 300km/h. @Sheadoestuff Like gregorsv said, didn't you hear the tires when he revved up and dumped the clutch?
Dear Santa....
That is some insane acceleration from a car that is nearly 10 years old. The RB26 really loves revs
Ne ha 20 ormai
Beautiful sound... I can listen to that all day.
hoooo leeee geeez Stock Bottom end.....
No way this engine has a stock bottom end.
Gonzarelli there is a reason why those engines are so famous and became motorsport legends... just like the 2JZ from Toyota.. World record is 1089whp with stock bottom end. U can have that amount of power on a stock bottom end, but not for too long, something will go booom sooner than ever...
NathanSGBrazil lol listen to this keyboard mechanic
beyondthelol Like if u knew anything about RB engines. A shitty RB20 is capable of over 600whp and mine own RB20 made over 400whp. a RB26 can easily hit 700-800whp on stock bottom end but reliability is compromised.
NathanSGBrazil Like if u knew anything about RB engines you would realise the car in the video isnt running a stock bottom end like you think.
this guys a good driver, good take off, good shifts, not too short
I love the way that at 190mph he still has another gear to go
Aracın gerçekten bir Türkün olması çok gurur verici
Holy crap, that's quick. 0-40 was like a bullet.
Oh my fucking God!! If I love this car before to see this video... Now I'm more fall in love with it
To be fair, that's because the wheels were spinning on launch, that's why there's a pause. The speedo is confused and the wheels need to catch grip before getting a reading
@richu27 If you want to get technical about it, 60mph = 96.56km/h.
We round it up because cars are either measured in 0-60mph or 0-100km/h.
@Patiers the GTS-t's were used for drifting, they had their purpose =3 People still modded them like crazy.
Oh man, that 5th gear is somethin else!
16 years ago I was only 11 years old and I didn’t even know UA-cam
@@AwesomeTURTLE1000 same
OMG sounds exactly the same when tuned in NFS PROSTREET 😱🔝😍
awww that sound
it will. this car is known for its super powerful engine. And reliable as hell.
HELAL OLSUN DAYIOGLİİİİ !!!
@clothesonthefloor The new GT-R is all wheel drive standard though but R34's are and R33 and R32's are optional either AWD or RWD
that was pure madness!! awesome stuff!
@videnteramos they only EVER made skylines in right hand drive, the few left hand drive that are about have been converted
I've seen this video at least a hundred times, and it still gives me a woody every time I watch it. ME WANT.
Oooh my god.
This is a perfect video.
Turbo effect is brilliant.
Car is fantastic.
Sound is wonderful.
Absolute incredible.
that escalated rather quickly
That is a great video! Was in 2 minds about buying one, but not anymore!!! What bhp is it running buy the way?
You can really get a good sense of speed with the mph conversion, didn't realize how fast they were...
love this video. never tire of it. wouldnt your 0-60 been faster if you shifted into 2nd faster?
@analizeeeee1 thats because of force of acceleration fuel pushes against the back of the tank away from the fuel level sensor.
nice sound! and the turbo!
The bike still has a lot less wind resistance because it is smaller. The bike also LOSES LESS POWER THROUGH THE DRIVETRAIN due to having a smaller drivetrain and less resistance. It's why AWD can launch fast but from a roll, RWD AND FWD can pull on it.
where did you get the dashboard?? i wanna get one for my skyline!
"did you see that..." "see what"
@naplame No, the Gallardo, Reventon, Murcielago, and that new one they just announced are all AWD.
I don't know about other countries, but in australia all skylines are right hand drive and you shift with your left.
62mph-1ookmph
124mph-2ookmph
186mph-3ookmph
etc.
for every 10kmph its 6.2 mph and vise versa
6.2mph is 1okmph. easy way to remember conversion
i dont even know where my comment went. but i do love skylines. and 3.8 engines were the greatest engines ever made by GM.
Way better than that R35 bullshit. This is a real car
@clothesonthefloor . where you getting that from ?
kinda normal when you're covering a football field every few seconds XD
The large numbers ARE MPH. That being said... I've wondered why that is considering it's a right-side steering column but obviously, there is alot about this car which is custom so.... but those are MPH. I originally saw this video somewhere else when it was called, "0-190 MPH in 19 seconds." ............. This is one of my favorite videos ever. .........
mother of god... may god have mercy on us all
@videnteramos perhaps because the world doesn't revolve around the USA and it was filmed in Australia? or Britain?
Notice that the bigger numbers on the speedo is in MPH and the smaller ones is in KPH :)
@ibr180 are you sure the steering wheel would rock like that on a dyno or the camera for that matter.. to me it looks like he is just going down a straight... but then again ive never been on a dyno so idk
the legendary rb26dett at its best
@ohhurdead No, it's probably right hand drive, which is why you see his right hand on the wheel.
@rcmaster89 it says at the very start of the vid its a R34 GTR Skyline tuned by Kismo (possible spelling mistake (nismo?))
I LOVE THIS SOUND!!!
@mallah656 You see his right hand is on the wheel? not the left? because the skyline driver seat is on the right side of the car and he has to shift with his left hand.
@clothesonthefloor They have an all wheel drive option but most is RWD
@MegaDannyboy90 200 on his dash is in MPH... The 300 he is referring to is in KPH. Look closely at the dash. You'll see MPH in the middle. The bigger numbers are the MPH and the smaller less noticeable ones are KPH. It doesn't really matter either way hes pushing 200 miles per hour lol
"You can't outrun a Motorola!"
It depends on whether the car was imported or not. In all other countries besides the United States kmph are the large ones. I am willing to bet that those are kmph since it even takes a Buggati longer to reach 200 mph.
It is the race driver Nicolas Kiesa. Kismo is like Nismo but with he's own first letter in the last name :)
(Nicolas Kiesa tunes he's cars by himself)
friend- cops !
Driver - NOS !
friend - oh.
@DTMRM8 Maybe not on a dyno, but the wheelspin doesn't sound realistic, like the engine is not working at all during it. But then it's also possible, that there is just so much power, that the car spins wheels on idle... :D

They can be federally legalized if modifications are made to improve the structural integrity to meet US safety regulations... but I won't go into that story.
listen to him, it makes perfect sense
is this regular GTR or tuned version, because this is damn fast??!!!
@ibr180 Nope, its done on an airfield. There is another video showing the other camera put at the other end of the track filming him there. On top of that, Ive seen the car live and there is 20k witnesses that can swear this car aint fake or faking it.
Thx for this perfect Video!
Greetz from Germany
omg, 0-45 is like instant after you let the clutch go. lol thats gotta throw you so hard in your seat.
WT SHIT?!!! 19 seconds to go from 0 to 300 for a Skyline?!! Whoa!!! 5 STARS!!!!
i may be wrong but look carefully at the fuel...it looks like it drops a tiny bit at the end compared to start
MPH = big digits
KPH - little digits
it's british version. Skyline was sold out of japan only in UK.
Wow, Ringing out a gearbox, At its finest
where does the engine gives power? front or back wheels?
@Mijaycapri79 Google it if you need reassurance. While you can pull out a fuse in early GTRs to make it RWD all GTRs are 4WD. Not being rude mate, just clarifying.
i think he was just burning out and the tires were going 40mph
cuz it takes a while for them to get grip and accelerate again
I LOVE THAT TURBO SOUND! OMG COOL
The blow off
Me too! Best sounding car around. I wish they kept it for the R35 though. :-(
what engine does your car have? Koeniggssegg Agera's?
@131723 boost set super high, takes time to spool after the shift
and this is why we LOVE the GT-R's ....... and if you disagree, move along man, nobody here cares for your negative input ....... why are you wasting your time watching/commenting on something you don't like, I'll never understand that
the gas needle moves faster than the speedometre one hahaha
Thats what i call hot rice with hot sauce i love it
damn once it gets traction its gone
yeh its true.. if u have less fuel.. in light cars they matter.. the car then weighs alot.. youll feel the performance
i love this
if corvettes can beat a skyline, than lets see everyone and there brother who has one try to take a turn at 70 mph...
If I had a car like that, it would be hard to be a mature safe driver....
the sound of the tires when they lose control is from the dyno?
Yo man, you're right this must be some king of tuned version, because its damn fast, this is faster than some much more expensive cars; it's only takes 4 s to 100....wow
I swear you can watch the gas go down
best skyline acceleration i hav ver seen
@AGENT47ist Rear wheels like all skylines?
yeah....
really funny.
i wish i had your sense of humour
It went past 190mph. 190mph is about 306km/h.
very impressive, although thats the gts gauge cluster not the gtr, might want to change the info
love this video. never tire of it
dude, your almost outta gas :O
sooo ahh, do u wanna share with us what beast lurks in ur engine bay?
I would LOVE to shift into 6th at 190 mph, that's fucking obserd, I love it
That's VERY quick mann 5*
Very nice car:D
@02turbotypeS
The video has the titel 0-300, it must be kmh. So the Big numbers must be mph, the small numbers in the middle might be kmh!
When he shifts in, the arrow jumps to 40mph in
@Dualshock21
Yes it was. He went over 180mph, that's over 300km/h.
@Sheadoestuff
Like gregorsv said, didn't you hear the tires when he revved up and dumped the clutch?
If you can see clearly, it reaches 190 MPH, which is 304 km/h
