I'm biased because the local Golden Corral gave me food poisoning, but in my experience, it's far better to go to a local Chinese buffet for your money.

I wasn't poor and I wasn't rich either but I loved Golden Corral growing up. It's buffet food, you get what you pay for. The better the buffet the more you pay. I would get a steak and popcorn shrimp. And that was awesome.

I've been to Golden Corral many times and the food is good and it is delicious there's nothing embarrassing about it I gladly go back for first seconds and thirds I still do go back but for him I don't think he would last in today's society especially if his mom and dad where to go broke tomorrow because food is food I would never turn it down.
Man I remember living in Mexico with nothing. We had to eat scape everyday just to get by. My parents would sometimes not eat to make sure we did eat. I remember going into a Golden Corral for the first time it was like a dream come true 😂

In Northern Europe, shoes looking like that, are worn by immigrant men, sometime also wearing white "gowns", and sometimes small silly hats, who go around holding hands, with, or hugging, other men, are very physically touchy-feely with other men, also kiss other men on their mouth, when they meet, are Muslims, and really hate gay people, to the point of beating them up without provocation. I've never asked them where they were born, but I believe it's Morocco, or Syria, or Egypt, or something similar. Pretty sure Northern Africa somewhere. His trousers look like something worn by flashy men in a very rich Asian country, that has had a lot of European and Indian fashion influence. Maybe Taiwan, Singapore, S. Korea, or Hong Kong?
I'm not even going to lie y'all, I absolutely love Golden Coral. I genuinely think the food is amazing. I like EVERYTHING they have on the buffet, especially the pizza of all things, it's high tier buffet pizza. Plus, getting to watch the dudes cook the steaks on the grill, and you tell them what you want like it's hibachi is amazing. Golden Coral is a magical place for us poor folk 🙏
Going to Golden Corral as a child was so nice especially when we didn’t have a lot of money but it was a special treat every now and then. Always good memories from there 🙂

I eat hamburger helper a lot. It’s one my favorite meals. But I went to Golden Corral today, I was let down. No taste in literally all the food. Only thing I kept going back for was the marshmallow sweet potatoes. Coleslaw is warm and sour. Beans you can tell is the bushes baked beans. Stuffing 100% stove top, which I love. But it wasn’t hot and it tasted bad. Idk, I don’t mind cheap food from time to time, but I wasn’t feeling theirs today.
Yes I was like this and my mom would take me and my 4 siblings when we got some money it was cheap in the Golden Corral anyway my mom was driving recently and passed the restaurant I told her that when I was younger I thought it was the fanciest most expensive place I’ve ever been in so idk watching someone that has good money shit on it so hard just makes me embarrassed..

If you ain’t been down with the struggle you don’t know the feeling when being able to eat at places like that. Growing lower middle class on an Indian reservation didn’t leave a lot of options to eat fast food. When we went to the city… which was rarely this was our go to spot.

This actually made me want to go to GC. I haven’t been in years. I used to love the rolls, fried chicken and Mac n cheese. Soft serve ice cream and sprinkles for dessert.
Ours is gone now it makes me terribly sad… I love Golden Corral and grew up working at a Bonanza… they’re straight up basics and no fancy bs…. I wish ours was still here as me and my family have fond memories going there over the years… so much so that I emailed their corporate office arguing that it needs brought back(shut down during vid lockdowns)

I've been to Golden Corral many times and the food is good and it is delicious there's nothing embarrassing about it I gladly go back for first seconds and thirds I still do go back but for him I don't think he would last in today's society especially if his mom and dad where to go broke tomorrow because food is food I would never turn it down.
Man I remember living in Mexico with nothing. We had to eat scape everyday just to get by. My parents would sometimes not eat to make sure we did eat. I remember going into a Golden Corral for the first time it was like a dream come true 😂

I'm not even going to lie y'all, I absolutely love Golden Coral. I genuinely think the food is amazing. I like EVERYTHING they have on the buffet, especially the pizza of all things, it's high tier buffet pizza. Plus, getting to watch the dudes cook the steaks on the grill, and you tell them what you want like it's hibachi is amazing. Golden Coral is a magical place for us poor folk 🙏
the pot roast is the best thing they have. The meat is so tender in the gravy. fried Chicken is pretty bangin too

I grew up eating beans and rice for almost every meal we were so broke. I remember having hamburger helper a few times and it was the greatest thing I had ever eaten at that point. crazy how much different someone's perception can be, if I had been taken to a golden corral (unlimited pizza, fried chicken, ICE CREAM etc.) i would've been so stoked.
I eat hamburger helper a lot. It’s one my favorite meals. But I went to Golden Corral today, I was let down. No taste in literally all the food. Only thing I kept going back for was the marshmallow sweet potatoes. Coleslaw is warm and sour. Beans you can tell is the bushes baked beans. Stuffing 100% stove top, which I love. But it wasn’t hot and it tasted bad. Idk, I don’t mind cheap food from time to time, but I wasn’t feeling theirs today.
Yes I was like this and my mom would take me and my 4 siblings when we got some money it was cheap in the Golden Corral anyway my mom was driving recently and passed the restaurant I told her that when I was younger I thought it was the fanciest most expensive place I’ve ever been in so idk watching someone that has good money shit on it so hard just makes me embarrassed..

If you ain’t been down with the struggle you don’t know the feeling when being able to eat at places like that. Growing lower middle class on an Indian reservation didn’t leave a lot of options to eat fast food. When we went to the city… which was rarely this was our go to spot.
Golden Corral is basically an amalgamation of all of America’s subpar chain restaurants in one place.
It ain't the best, but it was food in my stomach sometimes. I was just happy to eat as much as I wanted.
They use to be good years ago but after the pandemic most restaurants have changed the quality of their food.
Ehhhh I remember the only decent thing was the steak. Even the fried chicken was disappointing. Publix had way better chicken.

This actually made me want to go to GC. I haven’t been in years. I used to love the rolls, fried chicken and Mac n cheese. Soft serve ice cream and sprinkles for dessert.
Ours is gone now it makes me terribly sad… I love Golden Corral and grew up working at a Bonanza… they’re straight up basics and no fancy bs…. I wish ours was still here as me and my family have fond memories going there over the years… so much so that I emailed their corporate office arguing that it needs brought back(shut down during vid lockdowns)
It literally has nothing to do with fancy food. G.C is trash. Old Country Buffet used to be a chain of American style buffets in much of the midwest, was 10 fold better

I'm from the UK once upon a time Orlando FLA was my destination of choice and whenever I ate at the Golden Coral on IDrive I always enjoyed fine American cuisine and at a great price. So don't listen to any negativity try it for yourself and make up your own mind. 🇬🇧
