I lost my sister last week. My heart is broken but in the weeks I was blessed to care for her, God continually, moment by moment, revealed Himself to me. His faithfulness, His wisdom, His compassion. Though the tears keep coming, I am reminded to choose gratefulness for His continued safe refuge and strength and that my sister isn't held in her weakened body anymore but rejoicing in His Presence!
Yes. I've been there as end of life care giver. Mom was 86 going on 20 when she was diagnosedwith Rodeo blastoma brain cancer. That was 2010. Life-changing! Amazing grace.

Sick and disabled people need Jesus more, I heard you say that 16 years in a wheelchair and now sickness I’m learning there never was a truer statement, I have to remind myself God is for me and thus I keep fighting by his Grace

Thanks for sharing your joy Joni, & your effort for joy. I've had days seeking God about severe mistreatment, & I have repeatedly been given a Word from God to choose to remain in His joy. The days I start to get angry at injustice, & see how Ps 37 is true, "Do not get angry, it only causes harm..." (& mostly to ourselves), I see all the more the value of this call of Jesus to remain in the peace He has given to us, & God's joy.
