- In Season 6 of the STARZ series Outlander, based on the wonderful book series by Diana Gabaldon, Claire struggles to overcome the abuse she suffered at the hands of Lionel Brown and his henchmen. The emotional wounds refuse to heal and her soul suffers. So this time it's Jamie's turn to wrap his arms around her soul and pull her out of the darkness, just like Claire did for him after Wentwoth. I chose this topic as the introduction to my video for the song "This I Promis You". Then I turn to the topic at hand, which is the promise Jamie made to Claire at their wedding. The promise that we all know and love:
„Ye are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone.
I give ye my Body, that we Two might be One.
I give ye my Spirit, ‘till our Life shall be Done.“
He keeps this promise and more than lives up to it (the same goes for Claire, of course, but this video is more from his perspective). It is impossible to keep all suffering away from your loved ones, but it is possible to show them that you care for them every day of your life, that you hold them in your arms and love them, and that nothing will ever change that, until the end.

Wow, you do come up with some amazing videos and song choices, Jamie must have felt helpless seeing the despair in Claire’s eyes during that period of her life, you have captured the good and bad times perfectly, Jamie has always been Claire’s rock since they first met and she realised she was falling in love with him, his hugs must feel like being wrapped in a warm blanket, Jamie’s words to Claire “ You are my Home” keeps coming to mind every time I see them together,
