Sam and Cait have a unique relationship that we simply cannot understand because no one is in their shoes but them. How many actors have been in their position? Very few, if any. They often say they are like brother and sister. That is gross to me because they are so intimate and familiar with each other's bodies. But I think it is their attempt to describe their close bond. It is more than mere friendship - they are family together. They are as close as two people can be without being married or lovers. They portray two married people passionately in love for a long time and have done so for years. We see the fruit of that off-camera. They do seem married and almost in love in some ways in their humor, knowledge and understanding of one another. To bring truth to their roles they have had to feel those things in order to show them. This is a part of them that no one else will ever share no matter how many romantic roles they play in the future. But they have kept their special bond separate from their personal lives. They know the difference and accept it for what it is. So should we.

They portray a love pretty much all people envy. The kind that you would risk dying to protect the other one because you know you would only exist with out the other person. For that kind of love I would risk death to save the one I love because I know my life would be nothing with out him. Very few loves like that in this world. I believe we all look for some thing in life and Outlander takes us there if only for a little while. I believe long after the series is over, that show will be a classic for years to come. I just hope that they get to start filming again soon. As far as Sam loving Cait, I think it's one of a great friendship. I think if it were to ever be beyond that, it's none of our business no matter how much we wish it. I believe they are entitled to their private lives. They entertain us fully and beyond that, they own it.

All the kids have families. The Heughan clan have a large farming ranch in the Scottish Highlands and a Summer residence in Ireland. The family is stable, healthy and happy. That's my wish!
That baby was not one of their children. It was only shown by a fan on an interview....showing her child wear a dress like Caitriona wore in her OL audition and Sam remembered and said, "that's you dress she's wearing". He remembered the dress from their audition 7 years later...when he saw the child's picture.
What a marvellous couple, one can really think that they are together for real; I know it is not so but, in my head it feels like that. If i may make a little stupid guess, he is always being willing, but she is not , off course not, she now is married to someone else, strange .

There was a "ceremony" in August 2019....not in the location that was discussed on social media or on the date that was discussed on social media. It needed to be private and it was. What you see or saw during that time in public was not what was going on in private. A vast number of people know and do not discuss it. Also, this is not the proper venue for having this discussion. It is a private matter between two very nice people. But feel free to believe what you wish.

They would spend their lives together till death parts them. 50 years is a nice round figure! 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl...one follows his parents into the family business, another becomes a doctor, their gorgeous daughter is an attorney. All the kids have families. The Heughan clan have a large farming ranch in the Scottish Highlands and a Summer residence in Ireland. The family is stable, healthy and happy. That's my wish!

That baby was not one of their children. It was only shown by a fan on an interview....showing her child wear a dress like Caitriona wore in her OL audition and Sam remembered and said, "that's you dress she's wearing". He remembered the dress from their audition 7 years later...when he saw the child's picture.

How do you know they are not together? There was a ceremony in August 2019....not a wedding. There was, however, a wedding in September 2015 and it was not to her PA.....for real.

@@margaretawelffens1054 When a Catholic marries in a civil ceremony to a non-Catholic and plan to have children or have children....in order to have children from that marriage be baptized, there is a Catholic ceremony where "marriage vows are re-newed by a priest"....then the child or children they may have can then be baptized into the Catholic church. There was a "ceremony" in August 2019....not in the location that was discussed on social media or on the date that was discussed on social media. It needed to be private and it was. What you see or saw during that time in public was not what was going on in private. A vast number of people know and do not discuss it. Also, this is not the proper venue for having this discussion. It is a private matter between two very nice people. But feel free to believe what you wish.

Bonsoir sam et caitriona sont extraordinaire dans la série outlander mais je me pose une question ❓ tout au début quand sam regarde caitriona sur des interviews sa respire plus que de l'amitié et caitriona sur une interview elle a déclarée avoir fait de vrais baisers 💋 et certaines scènes d'amours surtout celles du mariage ont dû être difficile pour eux mais je me demande comment Jamie quand il a contre lui claire avec des baisers et se toucher comment ne pas désirez une belle femme malgré que ce soit dû cinéma c'est quand même un homme.

Je pense que sam n'était pas prêt à former une petite famille 👪 il a beaucoups aimé cat sa se voyait à son regard il en est de même pour elle mais comme tu le dis si bien sa carrière professionnelle avant tout est je pense qu'il la perdue, d'autant plus que son mari n'a vraiment pas de charme et elle n'est pas épanouie et l'on ressent pas l'amour vraie, ont les voient très rarement ensembles. Caitriona et sam même de grands amis ils sont magiques ensembles et toujours à ce taquiner et éclate de rires et sa fait plaisir c'est que du bonheur mais aussi ils sont passés à côtés de quelques choses de magnifiques. Sam is friends with Cait 's husband Tony. They were both single when they first met... could hv hooked up but did not. A testament to great acting and chemistry
