Beloved Rapture is an indie JRPG, blending modern themes with classic gameplay.
Characters must challenge not only the next looming dungeon boss-but themselves, and their own demons.
Navigate a vast 16-bit world, ripe for exploration. Jump, swim, climb, or ride a dragon through the air to solve puzzles and discover new locations filled with hidden treasure, secrets, and much more.

The fact this is almost all made in just RPG Maker 2003 is amazing and damn near inspiring. Definitely wishlisting this on my Steam.

This game is going to be absolutely incredible and monumental. It is reminiscent of some of the most beloved JRPGs from the SNES era with a fresh and modern take. I’ve watched this game be developed over the years since its inception and me being completely floored with how it turned out is an understatement. It honestly looks incredible. It is exactly the kind of game I would buy without hesitation because I love JRPGs and this game checks every box; great narrative, storytelling, characters, world building, gameplay, graphics, and music. I’ve watched the trailer like 50 times and I get chills every time. I was honestly so impressed. I cannot wait until it releases so I can play it! I highly recommend this to those who love and cherish RPGs and JRPGs!

Just awesome. There is such a shortage of games like this, in the classic style with detailed pixel art, without unnecessary 3D elements. I'll be looking forward to the release. I hope there is a suitable localization. But I’ll play anyway, even with the difficulties of knowing another language

I understand how difficult it is for indie developers to develop games, so localization into other languages means additional difficulties and costs, but I still want to see suitable language for convenience. But you don’t always see a translation, even if it’s not an official one. I will be very glad if the localization is in Russian. I think it will be no less pleasant for others to see their language. In any case, if there is no translation, if possible, I will try to purchase and try out the game. Support such a project financially. I wish you success with the game and hope it receives significant attention. For me this quality is close to chained echoes And sea of stars.

Saw this game randomly on steam that one time and went to play the demo. It was real solid. Most of these types of projects don't tend to come to fruition so seeing a potential release date on the horizon here is really cool.

Love the tone and curisity this evokes, surely a labor of love. The visuals, sounds, music and dialogue invite so much mystery for the story and characters. It is my most anticipated game as well!

Has that classic Final Fantasy vibe, but has a bit of Chained Echoes the way combat looks. The puzzles look like they will be alot of fun too.

@@BelovedRapture This game is a true tribute to 16-bit era RPGs. I really enjoyed Chained Echoes and Sea of Stars. But this game, seeing the gameplay and especially hearing the soundtrack, is truly emotional. Congratulations on this masterpiece, I will eagerly await its release on the Switch.

Looks really great. One minor thing though... Seems a lot of RPG maker games lack shadows for the characters. It's very jarring once you notice that nobody (except for that random bird) casts a shadow. Not sure how realistic it would be to add that in before launch. Good luck, dev. Hope the game is a success for you. It's clear a lot of love and hard work went into this.

Yup! We patched the engine to allow for widescreen resolution or other enhancements.
Is this just gonna be on PC?
The PC version will come first.
Then, hopefully if it goes well, we can explore getting on consoles. 😅
