I really admire Heart, people mistakenly judge her as kikay or maarte but her love to Linda and the idea of fostering dogs.. make me feel how warm and loving she truly is.
Well, Heart is maarte and kikay but that doesn't make her less loving or warm. She's literally shining with a good heart and we all can see that, regardless what description people make her of.
I love how she’s being confident and showing her bare face more often. I still remember in her previous vlog that she cannot go out without make up on her face. I love the vulnerable Heart💛
I finally get what had happened... It only took quarantine to have me go through interviews of both parties and now I understand both sides. Heart's parents always controlled everything in her life - most especially her money. In one interview, she said she didn't know how much she was making. It sounded like in order for her to even purchase something, she had to ask for an allowance for it from her mom. Then Chiz came along... Chiz, with all his maturity and steadfastness, held Heart's hand and showed her the things she was missing from her very sheltered life. Seriously, like Aladdin and Jasmine! He showed her the world! Took her on her first jeepney ride and got her to try different "normal people" food. Then he showed her how to handle her money. She probably had to sneak her way into ABS-CBN and asked someone to show her contracts/receipts, who knows! Or, as on one interview, went to the bank so that she can get educated on how much is in her account. That's when she realized she was making A LOT of money and of course, she went shopping! Sino ba naman ang hindi mag-shopping if you found out you had thousands or probably even millions of pesos in your account (and she's been working since she was a kid!). I would do it, too! And that's why her parents saw Chiz as the enemy, someone who is taking their precious daughter away and manipulating her into a spender/party girl. But they didn't bother getting to know the man their daughter fell in love with. They didn't bother to talk with Heart and ask why she chose him. They didn't trust their almost 30-year old daughter, they couldn't fathom that she can think for herself at that time. They refused to see it. They still saw her as their baby girl, needing protection from everything. Sure, there's the age gap, but Heart was not a teenager any longer. She has shown growth and maturity beyond her years and STILL REFUSED TO SEE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT. Close-minded, they run to news media and shouted to the world that Chiz is a bad influence and on some interviews, even made false accusations against him. I can only imagine how that must have hurt Chiz, and Heart as well. And PRIDE, one of the 7 deadly sins, won... They rather missed their daughter's wedding than accept the fact that Chiz was such a perfect fit for their daughter. In not trusting Heart, they also showed that they did not trust how they raised her. Despite the fact that she was too sheltered, Heart's parents raised her very well. She is empathetic, kindhearted, generous, among other things. They did so well, in fact, that she also did so well in choosing her life partner. And Chiz.. Man, this guy is the most steadfast, amazing male to compliment Heart. From teaching her how to handle money to the fact that he DID NOT RUN AWAY from all the drama, give this man a round of applause! Any other man who is not sure of themselves would have crumbled and walked away from all that. But that showed me how much he really loved Heart. That this was it, he was going to stand by Heart, no matter how many vile, disgusting lies they threw at him. What a man. But that's all water under the bridge now. I'm glad they all patched things up and now put those things behind them. I wish Heart and Chiz all the best in life. TL;DR: Heart's parents didn't trust that their ADULT daughter has a good head on her shoulders. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I'm not siding with anyone but, objectively speaking, her parents were too nasty on how they handled the situation. Instead of setting a private time and place for all of them to talk with Chiz & Heart and tell them their reservations in regards to the couple's relationship, they went to the media and started babbling non-sense and at most, lies against Chiz. Filipino parents tend to want to control everything in their kids' lives. When they become adults (she was 30 when she married Chiz, for crying out loud, not 12), they should be able to make their own choices and follow the path they want to go. You can advise them, of course, but you have to trust that you raised them well. Insecure parents will always project their fear into their kids and it just creates an unnecessary mess. If your kids fall and make mistakes, let them so they can learn from it. The best you can do is to be there when they need you, but not suffocate them with your presence.
The best thing about heart is that she always put love in every work her hands finds to do... from the people around her, to her pets , to her arts and crafts and above all she didn't forget to honor GOD 0:40 for the blessings she have. #SomuchRespect

I'm sorry about the puppy. I have a dog and she's now 1 year old. I'm still coming to terms when someone called her panget. I was so depressed for a month now kasi I can't imagine how an innocent animal can be called that way by someone na she doesn't even know. By someone who doesn't even have a pet. I'm watching overseas and it made me cry on the part where you guys were distributing reliefs to people on the streets. They're the most vulnerable during this pandemic.
The homeless in these times especially that the streets are empty, how will they survive? When I went out to buy halohalo after my brother was discharged from the hospital a month ago, looking at those people who only rely on parking tips, they don't have a living these times. A big amount of tip would atleast help them buy food as for me so lucky I can buy halohalo. You are such an inspiration Ms Heart. Thank God we have a person like you. ❣️

Specially ngayong crisis, lahat nangangailangan pero as much as you want to help everyone, sobrang imposible lang pero at least, you are able to help someone. I know the feeling na sobrang hirap na i-filter ng tutulungan pero once nakita mo yung ngiti ng tinulungan mo, nakakawala ng pagod. Sobrang priceless. I'm dedicating my energy and time 100% sa charity work (I lost my job first week of April due to this pandemic pero I know He is up to bigger blessings), not on a bigger scale compare to yours pero I'm inspired with your saying sa IG post na "We may not be able to help everyone, but at least we are able to help someone." Nasa utak ko lang siya palagi and whenever I do something, I ask for His spirit to guide me. Sa May 4, we are going to help 138 poorest among the poor families in our community, with the help of various donors (sobrang thankful ako sa mga nag respond sa aming munting programa) and His providence, this will never be possible. We are giving out P500 each family and prior this, I organized the distribution of P1000 Gift Certificates (from Caritas) sa 2000 families dito pa rin sa aming community. Pag may dumating na tulong, naka-ready na agad yung list namin na tutulungan. Because I'm in contact with different communities, nabibigyan nila ako ng list ng mga families na naka-categorized (I asked them to categorized) from bottom poor to may kaya so na iidentify agad namin kung sino ang bibigyan. Kung dumating ang blessing today, we make sure na the next day, nasa kanila na ang biyaya. Ultimo near-expiry milk for kids na pwedeng ipamigay sa bahay-bahay na nakatira sa mga creek, we go there para bigyan sila. I pray and hope that you'll never get tired on helping people. Be patient din though darating sa time na may mga mangungulit talaga na gustong makaulit (pero they have to understand na kailangan ma-spread evenly yung help). I feel sorry for losing Linda pero at least she experienced to stay in your comfy house. Medyo selos lang si Panda pero okay lang :) She's in a very safe place now. I wish you good health and for everyone reading this, "Pray, hope and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and He will hear your prayers". Stay safe everyone!

I cried with you cause my dog died too whom I loved like my own child. Shes 9 years old but acts like a baby to me. And you just inspired me, watching you cried and moving on. I learned that not everyday is a good day and its normal to be sad at times. And, life must continue to go on.
Dati ayoko rin si Heart but I see she really loves dogs and I appreciate that very much because dogs to me are so lovable. The only thing dogs ask of humans is to treat them well and they will love and be loyal to you. Dogs crave for human touch, may mga artista na nakita ko na kunyari gusto ang aso pero hindi ko nakita na hinahawakan nila ang kanilang mga aso, si Heart talagang hinahawakan at pine-pet niya sila, love it

I'm dedicating my energy and time 100% sa charity work (I lost my job first week of April due to this pandemic pero I know He is up to bigger blessings), not on a bigger scale compare to yours pero I'm inspired with your saying sa IG post na "We may not be able to help everyone, but at least we are able to help someone." Nasa utak ko lang siya palagi and whenever I do something, I ask for His spirit to guide me. Sa May 4, we are going to help 138 poorest among the poor families in our community, with the help of various donors (sobrang thankful ako sa mga nag respond sa aming munting programa) and His providence, this will never be possible. We are giving out P500 each family and prior this, I organized the distribution of P1000 Gift Certificates (from Caritas) sa 2000 families dito pa rin sa aming community. Pag may dumating na tulong, naka-ready na agad yung list namin na tutulungan. Because I'm in contact with different communities, nabibigyan nila ako ng list ng mga families na naka-categorized (I asked them to categorized) from bottom poor to may kaya so na iidentify agad namin kung sino ang bibigyan. Kung dumating ang blessing today, we make sure na the next day, nasa kanila na ang biyaya. Ultimo near-expiry milk for kids na pwedeng ipamigay sa bahay-bahay na nakatira sa mga creek, we go there para bigyan sila.
I pray and hope that you'll never get tired on helping people. Be patient din though darating sa time na may mga mangungulit talaga na gustong makaulit (pero they have to understand na kailangan ma-spread evenly yung help).
I feel sorry for losing Linda pero at least she experienced to stay in your comfy house. Medyo selos lang si Panda pero okay lang :) She's in a very safe place now.

I'm so sorry about Linda! I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Two of my dogs died a few months apart last year and yeah the pain is extreme. I'm so sorry.

I cried with you cause my dog died too whom I loved like my own child. Shes 9 years old but acts like a baby to me. And you just inspired me, watching you cried and moving on. I learned that not everyday is a good day and its normal to be sad at times. And, life must continue to go on.
