Lol you're welcome. It's definitely the most annoying thing right now. Hard to react intelligently to an enemy when the game just stacks all the damage in 1 frame or has de-synced sounds or animations.
I'm continuously astounded how franchise games continue to fuck up their Menu UI. They keep reinventing the wheel, but it's a shittier wheel every time.
Vickers-mg, why are you "astounded" by basic economics and business strategy? Battlefield 3 and 4 worked on that whole browser deal where if your browser plugins weren't working properly you couldn't even connect to a game. Who the fuck runs the entire customization and loadout + server lists out of a browser? BF4 had multiple game breaking bugs for up to 2 years after release (something they named "death shield" and some insta-kill bug). I get that it's hard to work out what some bugs might be caused by but wow, 2 whole years later. In the end I couldn't play it at all because my browser plugin just wouldn't allow me to connect to any servers and after trying everything I eventually gave up on bf4. I can live with a black screen or having to Alt+F4 the game as long as they don't force the browser system on me again. YIKES BF5 already has 100% more chance of being a decent BF game once they iron out the bugs. It's just too bad they have to do that after we buy the game. I didn't buy BF1 because it looked like a garbage game, and I'm really glad I didn't. BF5 is a lot of fun with friends so far, but random Squat mates are still useless.
Hey LevelCap, i have a small suggestion to make. How about a final opinion review about the last battlefield game when the new one has been released? Talking about how the game has evolved during the patching and dlc process and how it has addressed its initial flaws, and maybe even how the new game compares to it. I personaly have shifted to play the battlefield games 1 step behind the frenchize because i am sick of the bugfixing and rebalancing in modern games and like to play a product in its definitive final and polished state right from the start. Maybe i'm the only one, maybe not. But it would be very interesting to me to hear your thoughts to this final product that is battlefield 1 today. I know such a video might not generate as much clicks as the initial review or more current topics, but on the other hand you have lots of footage to use and all the research has been done already. So please consider doing it for the people who like to play finished games or anyone who just upgrades their gaming rig every now and then and looks for missed games wich are worth playing. Best reguards from germany and keep up the good work!
eh, following games behind used to be bad since the season pass and timed events but with bfv’s no season pass thing I think you might be finally doing the right thing. But if you still didn’t picked up BF1 I would say go ahead and buy V directly.
@@KaanTechCrazy I'm a huge battlefield fan since the first game but i don't care much about timed events because they only (should) get you cosmetics and i'm not very into that. My problem is that this games change so much because of rebalanced weapons or patches in the revive system and so on, and i just want to play and learn a game without relearning and rethinking to much because of patches. Not to mention the bugs and all that.. So i picked up battlefield 1 as it was in sale and i've been really happy with it so far. I watched a lot of old reviews and much of the problems from the early days seem not to be there anymore. I have the fixed game, much variety in maps and weapons because of all the DLCs from the start, and i dont mind playing the most recent anyway.
You don’t mention the convoluted and confusing game modes - why ruin operations by turning it into conquest deluxe? Operations in BF1 was the antidote to all the running around in circles in Conquest. Some of the best times I had playing BF1 were holding the trenches for three rounds in Ballroom Blitz it doesn’t get better than that. The gunfire sound effects are too ‘pop pop poppy’ for my liking and all the shrill female voices just kill the atmosphere for me. Please guys change your characters.
Honestly as a lifetime gamer and WWII nerd, the biggest thing that bothers me so far is the lack of realism (hate to say it but women everywhere on the battlefield, English soldiers running around with STG44s). I also can't believe they're staying away from ALL of the major battles of WWII. Thats the main reason why I would play a WWII Battlefield game, to see DDay and Carentan and the Ardennes forest and Iwo Jima in the Frostbite engine, not these no name battles that have little to no marketing value or signifigance. Hopefully they add some of these battles in the DLC but thats another thing that annoys me, how are you gonna launch a WWII game without the M1 Garand? Without the BAR? Without the Mauser? Without the Thompson? I get that they're gonna add them eventually, but why would I want to buy a WWII game that I have to wait 6 months to use the most important and iconic weapons of WWII? Okay rant over.
@@ninjateddy608 Most battlefields that held the right weapons to the right side if they were historical. But console children like yourself that caused the series to get casual don't understand these things.
First of all, I’m a grown man. Second of all, I don’t play on console. Third, I’m not a casual, and i’ve been playing for over a decade. It’s a fucking g a m e. You just shoot people. I couldn’t give less of a damn about accuracy. It’s a fucking game.
Don't bring the "English soldiers running around with STG44s" in with your "historical accuracy" bullshit. In just about every single Battlefield game, you could choose whatever gun you wanted to play with. It's there because if you like to play with a specific gun, you shouldn't have to play one specific country. These "no name" battles was the focus of the fucking game dumbass. They didn't want the stereotypical "WW2 D-Day Hero". Just because these battles weren't printed in every fucking history book doesn't mean it was irrelevant. If you want to play with the M1 Garand, BAR, Thompson, etc., then COD WW2 sounds like the game for you.
Ever since I first watched Saving Private Ryan I wanted to play a WW2 shooter as a black, female Nazi armed with a shoulder-fired MG42 that has a red dot cope and a silencer..
@@Shadow-sw2hx i havent played it yet. and other people can already write reviews... this is EA milking the game and everybody who does help it encourages them further... but for the black germans, there where some in bf1 for sure, and pale black woman too :) But maybe thats just an american soldier in his loadout clip and he has the fg-42. I would love it, if factions had there own nation based weapons and no gold guns etc. Back to the roots. maybe a system like in bfbc2. Its a shooter after all not a rpg. I hate the fact that you can call in a tank and if you play tank a lot you get rewarded by the fact that you know how to play it and by the fact your tank for example has all the upgrades. if i then as a player who plays not that much tank, want to hold up against you i stand no chance even if i have the same skill... kinda like in bf4 with all the gadgets.
I know I'm silly, I don't want to be like this. But everytime I hear a woman screaming "watch out grenade" or something like that when I play a war game. That just pulls me out of the experience. I can live with it in modern military shooters, but I more or less tolerate it. I can't help it but that's just how I feel. When it comes to a WW2 game I definitely can't tolerate it no matter how polished or great the gameplay is. I know, silly af I know.
Yeah it baffels me how many people play as a woman 3 in 1 is woman do they get more XP or something? I was playing a tanker and there I was just a screaming woman in a tank. If I want to hear a woman scream at meI will get married.
Gallema Nyes I play as a woman to piss off retards that foam from the mouth over character customization in an online arcade. So do most other people who don't take the game as serious as actual war lmao.
I love this game but, it does not feel like a ww2 game. I mostly get put off when i hear a women shout or scream in pain, it just put me off the ww2 feel of this game. But as i said before this is a great game!
@@babafgc3795 That wouldn't stop them BF2 had 64 player and the console battlefields back then were limited to 24 players so go figure. 64 player is perfect for the map sizes in V
the game is a lot of fun as it is right now. Imagine when new factions, weapons, maps, etc. are added and most bugs are corrected. BFV has lots of potential. Hopefully Dice will add quality content quite often
Battlefront II is a lot of fun right now. Imagine when new factions, weapons, maps, heroes ect. are added and most bugs are corrected. BFII has lots of potential. Hopefully Dice will add quality content quite often. Hmmmmm.
lvlcap: i like to enjoy every aspect of BF so airplanes need to be able to shoot ground target easier. DICE: improve airplanes targeting the ground troops. lvlcap: im mostly a infantry player and i don't like being killed so often by airplanes. (story of little confused DICE don't know how to satisfy the "hardcore" youtubers)
"Dice chose to focus on the lesser battles rather than the important ones"... That would mean they would have to admit wamen weren't there on D-Day at Omaha beach etc...... Shocker... said no ever.... Get Woke Go Broke.... Most Epic fail marketing in the history of games.... They told me not to buy so I didn't because I wasn't "Educated" enough for this game....
something you didnt mention: the nonexistent killcam - making it impossible to see where the sniper who has camped for the last 15min is shooting from. stupid ragdoll just looks into the sky...
I think it's much better that way. Realistically, sniping is synonymous with stealth and range. Valuing tactical advantage over a spray of bullets, but they already added those giant scope flares so I don't know what there really is to complain about?
Peteru Avertis at the end it still is a game. or let me put it another way. as you probably know yourself there are snipers sitting at the edge of a map not participating in objectives for the whole game and because i get no directional pointer he keeps disrupting the gameplay and right now there is no way to get to him if i didnt look directly into the flare... which still has bugs and doesnt show up at all times. not asking for a map location but a general location which would help. wow that was a long answer 😂
@@KOSHPARZ the graphics are far above BF1, the gun play is more enjoyable and immersive. the maps are more impressive and the game modes no longer feel one sided. My experience tells me that you have an underpowered PC and arent very good at the game.
30 year old boomer here. Don't know bout you guys, but I just wanted BF 1942 reskined with modern graphics Not that travesty of an FG42 at 5:19 And that STEN at 5:36 is absolutely disgusting
28 here and when they announce the game I was dreaming about seeing a remaster version of the iconic 1942 trailer with the same song, just a 1942 but bigger and better
Something about this game doesn’t look right. BF1 looks amazing, but this game just looks funky, in the way that BF Hardline looked weird compared to BF4
It's lighter and the blue light filter is anti cancerigenus, which also requires it to be more blue.... For some reason. So it looks somewhat cartoonish.
If I'm investing in a AAA game, I don't want 'potential', I want a finished product from a developer that hasn't told me I'm uneducated. I don't care if the gameplay is 'decent', IMO everyone should keep away from EA and this years BF. They don't deserve our money.
Okay, I'll admit that I like to defend the game... But if I listen to you guys and I decide not to buy it, what other games am I going to play? I like big maps with those unscripted Battlefield moments and vehicles.
its not unfinished there is lots of content in it already with new maps coming every tides of war chapter! they do deserve our money because its the first time that ea is listining to the community there is no premium pass and all content is coming for free! if they think that this buisness model doesnt the premium pass will come back for sure
KFire the point is no one wants that shit later like the fuck ..that’s like if bf1 dident launch with trench warfare maps how do you make a ww2 game with absolutely none of the iconic weapons or maps and for god sake add female soldiers with no signs of the damn Germans being ACTUAL NAZIS like this is wild and people wonder why others don’t see this as a ww2 game
@@Chitown18 What? NONE of the iconic weapons? M1911, Thompson SMG, MG42, STG-44, Lee Enfield Rifle, Kar-98k, Luger P-08 etc. Oh you MEAN NONE of the iconic weapons you wanted. The US weapons? The armed force that ISN'T in the game yet? No sign of the Germans being actual Nazis? Unless my game is bugged, I did notice the only skin colour you can choose when playing Germans is white...
I loved Bad Company 2... but man, I gotta say... BF5's overall squad play, and gunplay might be even better than Bad Company 2's. It's really that damn good.
@@AztecUnshaven I feel the TTK is way too fast compared to BC2, so not not a fan of the twitch gunplay. And the class system in BC2 has been the best IMO. Every class played a defined role due to their class limitations instead of having hybrid classes which the ease of team composition. BF3/4 had the assault class mixed with medic and BF1/V had it mixed with the engineer.
Yeah I'm sure you think it's "good, really good" after less than a week of playing. As a veteran, I can easily say that BFBC2, BF3/4 have had more potential
I have literally never agreed with a game review so fuckin’ hard in my life. Congratulations on being able to form your own actual opinions instead of leaping onto the BFV ill informed hate-wagon like every other UA-camr (and 99% of the comments)! Amazing. I personally don’t have much of an issue with the UI, as you can quite easily double click to equip etc. and the back button (mouse 5) actually fucking works on the menus! It’s definitely not perfect though. I also really enjoyed the single player, especially Nordlys. Absolutely loved to stealth aspects and completing all the challenges/ letters kept me going for a good while. Having played BF since BC2 I can honestly say that even with the “less than perfect” marketing, lack of iconic WWII content (although hopefully not for long) and bugs, it’s by quite a long shot my favourite game of the franchise. Really can’t wait to see where it goes in the coming months!
Would everyone keep going back to McDonalds if everytime you ordered a cheeseburger you got home to open the bag up and found a bun and a slice of cheese...….
@@andrewbunyan8083 His analogy is spot-on. And how dare you insult McDonalds. At least they now pretty much only use locally produced food in their products, which is more than you can say for most supermarkets.
BF veteran here and I'm still waiting for a modern WWII game to sink my teeth into... anybody know of one? Btw, I hate COD! Guess I'll go back and play 1943 on my old console... WTF DICE?! no iconic scenery?
RandyOrion Gaming they're doing a bunch of free updates that go through the course of the war so the rest of the free content will come later (such as d day and shit)
Anyone else Sick and Tired of UA-cam Gamers telling us The Players how great this Game is, When it clearly is not. Levelcap, Matimino,Westie JackF and Frankie May owe EA / DICE something But we don't. PTFO
Well said. Shrieking women in multiplayer isn't mentioned, or the other BS in campaign..it the fact its not f**king finished. First ever Battlefield I'm not buying. Let all the women and fellow virtue Signallers buy it. I respect those that died fighting in WW2 but Dive and apologists like JackF, Levelcap and the rest won't bite the hand that feeds. Sad.
Want to solve the problem with Battlefield's "play it once, never again" singleplayer campaigns? Medal of Honor. The title still has huge respect worldwide because the series respected the history of war and the men who fought in them. Did they accurately depict every single battle to the smallest detail? No, but they never set out to change history and pander to fit current ideologies. What a wasted opportunity. Why would they ever make another Medal of Honor game now? They would point to Battlefield. "Look WW2, that's what you wanted right? Same thing!" Which it most certainly is not. If I started up Battlefield and Medal of Honor's soundtrack started playing I would soil myself: ua-cam.com/video/f34U-D5ubeQ/v-deo.html
Nah. Bad Company games showed the winning formula - a sense of humour and a lack of seriousness. Leave the gravitas and respect to good books and movies.
Am I the only one that wants a BRAND NEW World War Two experience? I want new maps and new battles that I’ve never heard of, so I can learn more about them and see the ‘untold’ side of this conflict.
Derek Hershey oh no, F@*k that. I know this. And absolutely deplore the women in this game. Certainly detracts from all the sacrifices of the men who actually fought.
Wow! You really listed out everything that I am complaining about in some forums. Thank you very much for also confirming my doubts on some issues that encountered during my sessions! Really, a very Good Job!
Or it’s an example of the incessant need to fix things that aren’t broken. There are existing good templates in their own previous games, never mind other games, so I can only imagine someone had to justify their job by making this abortion.
I don´t know about you, but the fact that CAMOUFLAGE actually blends in with the environment sounds like a great improvement to me. I disliked the fact in previous Battlefields always made players stick out with a weird halo effect and it completely negated the fact that you could actually change camos depending on the situation. Battlefield Bad Company 2 kinda knew what it was doing as player there actually blended in with their environment like they should.
If i understand it correctly, BFV launched with maps that focus around the beggining of the war and the tides of war will follow a timeline and add factions and maps/battles based on that. So we will probably see Normandy(grand operation but with boats instead of airplanes would be so epic, if they dont do it its a huge missed opportunity) and other well known battles down the line, Berlin probably being among the last maps to release.
Bf4 is your best option the last great battlefield in my opinion still play the hell out of it lots of guns and so much customization it also has some bf3 maps revamped and the game still looks amazing I stillplay bf1 time to Time but don't find the combat that enjoyable
Battlefield 4 is outstanding, and a great value right now since it's already had years of updates and DLC. That being said though, a lot of the new squad mechanics in Battlefield 5 may be some of the best in the franchise. I'm loving the game, and I say this as a longtime Battlefield vet.
I think the bipod deployment problem may have something to do with being able to go prone and dive on your back. Most of the times I've had problems deploying the bipod have came when I've been crawling on my stomach for cover, turn in a different direction, then try and deploy the bipod only to find I've turned on my back with my feet in front of me.
What do you mean lol that's how war was man a constant firefight people dieing left and right it wasn't like rainbow six siege where everyone goes in with the speed of a snail
The "unknown battlefields" can also work on the "known battlefields". Take the East Front and instead of Stalingrad and Kursk you can do one of the hundret little "Kessel" fight where german troops just got lost in the far landscapes. Those are extra cool, because they are not full planed affair so you get many more behind the main frontline stuff with WW1 planes, motor-sleds and tiny village sieges but also tanks, mgs and fieldguns.Still have the former to though.
It just wasn’t the PR or the launch. They literally called their consumers shit and not to buy it. It could be the greatest game ever and I still wouldn’t buy it. Companies should not get away with this.
Flight model for spitfire still looks buggered. No way am I buying this bollocks, maybe when it's dirt cheap and they've actually bloody finished the game. I'll be finding a way to mute the soldier's voices or die trying too.
It would be a waste of the theme when they have already started with Norway and Netherlands why not go all in with it and show more battles of other faction than just the USA because americans think they are the only faction possible. They should try to create new iconic battles not just replicate the old ones. Arent the North African maps pretty iconic though?
Well, they promised that at least 4 new theaters would come... which means you will get at least four of these: russia, usa, japan, china, maybe, just maybe finland.. that is 5 factions (could be more too, but whatever)... so I mean..
It’s kinda ridiculous we consider battles like D-Day and Iwo Jima iconic. Neither of these battles were necessary to win WWII. I wish pop culture didn’t determine the battles we viewed as “Iconic”.
You play at 1440p with a 2080Ti, probably why you didn't mention the forced TXAA that cannot be turned off. The game is a blurry mess with TXAA. Do not buy this game until DICE adds an option to turn that shit off.
Yeah it was the first thing I noticed. I play on a PS4 pro on a 4k TV and the first thing I noticed is that twisted steel looks like it's from a game from 2004
I beg to differ on the ground troupes helping out pilots. If you have a squad like mine, we'll always bring a recon, helping with spotting for the bomber and the rest of the team fighting for an objective.
I personally love this game and I like what Dice have done differently for this title compared to previous Battlefields. I love how everyone from a squad can pick each other up and I think there is a lot more teamwork than previous Battlefields. Also, I love how you can build a base up and defend it vs the enemies. My friend and I built a middle base up on a map and both went 26-9 by staying there defending C the whole game. Gunplay is amazing, graphics are top tier, and all maps are really well made. Looking forward to future content for this game, going to be playing this masterpiece for a long time :)
Then don't. And frankly, if you're alt-right [and I suspect anyone going so far as to not buy this game over SJW heart palpitations is]; then you ARE uneducated, and a bit of a drone, frankly. Extremely unimaginative comment.
Love how levelcap changed his view on the game after he became part of the "game changers" of EA. Before being part "this is what's wrong, they need to change that...", after that (in order to please his EA overlords giving him money), "ok, this have some problems, but hey is so good because of this and that..."
I'm a long time battlefield player, but I wasn't following the launch of V. Bought this game because i noticed it was already on sale for $39. I'm honestly REALLY enjoying it so far. Loving the squad and gun play. Being able to revive squad mates is amazing, and the attrition of health and ammo is delightfully stressful. The building aspect is actually really neat too because while the defenses can get destroyed easily with explosives, the low ammo keeps players from wasting their only explosive on a wall unless they really have to. This lets players actually use these defenses to divert enemy advances into strategic choke-points. I've seen this happen multiple times and watched the bodies pile up. There are also a lot of hidden ramps etc that can be constructed to access higher elevations and alternate routes, but since a lot of people neglect building, they are missing out on these. As for optimization I'm also really impressed. Playing in 1080p Ultra settings with a gtx960 with no problems and haven't had a single crash.
Potential is equivalent to hype. If the game is all potential and fail to deliver (which is not uncommon to EA) the playerbase disappears quickly. Sorry Level crap you can't put garnishing in an unfinished game. Its wrong and you know it.
i agree on most of your points exept about the iconic battles part. i have seen d day a million times, but focusing on lesser known battles really breathes fresh air into the ww2 setting
I am still surprised at how all the UA-camrs covering Battlefield 5 insist on the maps being the same classical maps that we have all played to death. How can you possibly want to replay these maps instead of trying entirely new battlefields??? Could you at least give the new maps a chance?
Nobody said they were bad, but including some older battles with this combat and graphic system would be very interesting and entertaining! I for one love D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge
@The Truth you can have both and will have both, if you really think DICE when they add the US faction to the game won't do a D-Day map then you're deluded. It's going chronologically... why people seem to forget this is beyond me.
The game is truly amazing, it's going to get so much playtime over winter. I just want a TDM playlist like BF1. Most of these modes are too long for some quick enjoyable gameplay if you're a busy person.
If we sum it up this review, it screams "buggy and unfinished" in every way. If Levelcap could have given points for this game, probably it would have been 5 or 6. My recommendation is to wait for price drop and patches.
This video reminds me of that scene in ‘The Big Short’ where they’re in Las Vegas and Jamey sitting by the pool says: ‘There must be some law preventing you from working in a financial institution after working in financial regulation.’ This video is not a review, its an advertisement.
I already like it more then bf1 but holy shit the single player is so short , I know games like battlefield, call of duty, star wars battlefront 2 and the 2 newest medal of honor games have short and sweet storys but this one makes bf1 feel like the witcher 3 I liked 2/3 of the campaign and wish their was more but I don't think the additional last tiger story is going to make this long enough
EL WAYNO The Norway mission was meh, but the whole map design for that mission was a work of art. The amount of detail they put into it was incredible. It’s such a shame that the mission was so short (if you didn’t spend your time looking at everything)
Having pretty high K/D overall in all BF games, I m signing in relief when lvlcap did his homework and found bugs in TTK feel. For a couple of days I was afraid I might be getting old for competitive shooters
My thoughts the game is pretty solid good game so far very fun to play , but it is going to be incredible the more they update it(you can change your gender to a man so it’s not huge deal)😂
I could be wrong, but I believe DICE said they are going in chronological order, so America and all those the major battles will be in the game, just when it gets to that time frame.
The desert map also has a "weather" setting where it get obnoxiously sun and you cant see much worst the a white out. My whole squad was experiencing it.
I actually like faction specific loadouts so that once I unlock a decent variety of weapons, I can recreate semi-realistic loudouts for each team (Germans actually having German weapons and whatnot)
Where are all the 'like' seeking kiddos who flapped their gums about how terrible BF5 is gonna be and how superior WW3 is? Probably trying to refund their copy of WW3 as they still can't connect to the game...
Nine months later and this video could hardly be more up to date. Some improvements have been made since then, like bug fixes, new maps, weapons and vehicles and a slightly more intuitive menu. But overall the synopsis remains the same to this day: possibly the best unfinished Battlefield game to date.
It makes sense to not have iconic battles if they can add them as free dlc later. A lot of the DLC in past battlefields struggled to keep my interest, but adding major battles in 6, 7, 8 months from now would get me back in
I'm playing since BF 1942...and u have done a great review of this one. I don't understand the dislikes coz I agree to 99% of what u pointed out. Keep going
I’ve never been frustrated by the soldier visibility and I’ve been playing from the Alpha. People should be able to blend in and all we have to do to counter is a slow and tactical approach to every situation.
DICE once said that they never take anything from the previous game and always start from scratch. Makes no sense to me but that's why we have the same bugs and problems that keep resurfacing after they've been fixed in previous titles.
You can switch weapon skins and attachments on PS4 you just have to press triangle on the class you want to change and press x. Then you can switch your weapon and customize.
I've only had issues seeing enemies on dark areas of maps. No issue otherwise. The current implementation is better than shooting at red triangles or glowing enemies that's for sure.
I like the idea of DICE doing a game from not so well known battles. I really hope they implement Winter War or Continuation War. D-Day and Stalingrad are coming later, I'm quite sure of that.
The ting with the iconic battles is that they can still later introduce them since all content is free and when the US faction is in the game they can start putting in the D-Day
Completely agree about the potential thing. I'd love to see some maps make a return from bf1942... El Alamein, wake Island, Bocage, etc... Those maps were just perfect for battlefield. I feel these launch maps make it feel a lot like cod.
I imagine DICE *could* choose to launch mini war stories like D-Day, battle of Moscow or battle of Britain further down the roadmap. I presume this game will get better with time, and that DICE has certain plans for keeping the playerbase active.

I agree
Good idea. A couple youtubers that do this about other game series and it works great.
eh, following games behind used to be bad since the season pass and timed events but with bfv’s no season pass thing I think you might be finally doing the right thing.

It would be a waste of the theme when they have already started with Norway and Netherlands why not go all in with it and show more battles of other faction than just the USA because americans think they are the only faction possible. They should try to create new iconic battles not just replicate the old ones. Arent the North African maps pretty iconic though?
The British was fighting against the Italian and German army's in Africa for a while until America came and helped them take it

Also Dice always brings the DLC so its only going to get better.
How is the squad play better than ever when its down to 4 instead of 5?
Any class can revive any squadmate if they are downed. I feel like there is a lot more teamwork because of this.
Agree. I like 5.

The game is truly amazing, it's going to get so much playtime over winter. I just want a TDM playlist like BF1. Most of these modes are too long for some quick enjoyable gameplay if you're a busy person.
DICE better watch this video with a notepad. They sure know how to screw up a perfectly good game.
If we sum it up this review, it screams "buggy and unfinished" in every way. If Levelcap could have given points for this game, probably it would have been 5 or 6.
My recommendation is to wait for price drop and patches.
@pitiful anonymous Good idea :)
EL WAYNO It would be great if there was a new single player mission during the tides of war thing (but I doubt it)
Daniel Ivan I think the one in Norway was the worst and the one in France was the best
EL WAYNO The Norway mission was meh, but the whole map design for that mission was a work of art. The amount of detail they put into it was incredible. It’s such a shame that the mission was so short (if you didn’t spend your time looking at everything)
@@Shepard_AU Plus the hypothermia mission was amazing, especially the bit at the end.
Playing BF for the SP LUL 🤣🤣🤣
But this Game is still lots of fun.
Having pretty high K/D overall in all BF games, I m signing in relief when lvlcap did his homework and found bugs in TTK feel.
For a couple of days I was afraid I might be getting old for competitive shooters
I'll think twice before installing this game even if it becomes free to play.
DLC is free to not split the community yet they have two different release dates splitting the community 🙄
Already level 28, know the maps well, and I own with certain assault and support weapons. Ready to pwn the standard users tomorrow. hahahaha
Yeah, also they seem to have planned far fewer maps after release. Not sure if it's enough to keep the players playing.
Looks just like bf1. Pass
The desert map also has a "weather" setting where it get obnoxiously sun and you cant see much worst the a white out. My whole squad was experiencing it.
Hey level you and I both know the Gunplay is Poor. The Graphics are WORSE THAN BF1! Wtf?
Why can't i play as a paraplegic hermaphrodite ? huh ? dat's offensive! no equality!
Probably trying to refund their copy of WW3 as they still can't connect to the game...
this game is awful.....
Nine months later and this video could hardly be more up to date.
Some improvements have been made since then, like bug fixes, new maps, weapons and vehicles and a slightly more intuitive menu.
But overall the synopsis remains the same to this day: possibly the best unfinished Battlefield game to date.
Thanks for an exhaustive review! I would suggest an also in-depth description of the game modes (unless Dice is preparing for major surprises?)
Finally someone that is actually looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. Or some one who is not bagging on it, just have patience.
I like your reviews - Much appreciated
I imagine DICE *could* choose to launch mini war stories like D-Day, battle of Moscow or battle of Britain further down the roadmap. I presume this game will get better with time, and that DICE has certain plans for keeping the playerbase active.
