Prince to Judith Hill: ‘I Had to Fight for My Life'

- In an interview with New York Times, singer Judith Hill, a Prince protege, opened up about the experience of being on Prince's private jet when it made a fateful emergency landing on April 15th due to him losing consciousness, just six days before the icon died. Hill said she was only one of two passengers besides Prince. Friend and longtime aide Kirk Johnson was also aboard the plane. Hill told the outlet that had she not been looking at Prince at the time, she may have thought he had fallen asleep. When she and Johnson found Prince unresponsive, they notified the pilot saying, "We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get him down," she recalled. "We didn't have anything on the plane to help him." Hill said that by the time they arrived at Trinity Moline Hospital, Prince was awake and speaking.

My Prince which I truly Adored . He was such a private person. I dont think nobody's guilty. I think he wanted to be alone and he knew what would happen to him . FINALLY! a fan that actually see's it my way. A lot of people feel like 'Oh he's Prince, he's too perfect for this.' Not true at all, superstars have a very tough life, and when you're someone like Prince it's even harder. He's the only legend that could hide his life and him himself from the Media. Prince had it hard growing on then losing 2 kids and some close friends said he never got over it. It was just hard for the little guy. Then he was in Pain all the time. He knew what he wanted to do. Hint his songs THE BREAKDOWN, MY WAY BACK HOME, & JUNE. those are the hints

I agree. Im a nurse. It was told by staff he wouldnt even let them bring meat into the house to eat yet he would take an overdose of Fentanyl. I dont think so.

He did say that, the title is misleading because they don't even have it. Prince told her that he had to fight to get back into his body, and he could hear them calling his name. Prince died twice, how sad is that. No one around him cared enough to bring him back the second time.
So there was a 100% chance he had difficulty breathing and got unconscious in an elevator. Then within minutes later he died. This is exactly what happened on the plane. If he got unconscious on the plane and they didn't react on time. He could have died. Second time it happened he was alone this time and had nobody there to save him. So sad. Man life isn't easy these days.
If he were unconscious and not breathing for 18 minutes on the plane while descending, he'd be brain dead.

He put a lot of stress on his body which isn't good. He should be eating more, drinking more water and exercise more. Working hard is good. But working 24/7 and not getting enough sleep. That's not healthy. I think all of that led to a flu and being in constant pain.

Michael Jackson's doctor confessed, with a detailed story of how he'd give him fentanyl bc he'd beg, called it his "milk" bc he needed it like hot milk to sleep. The man took responsibility, went to jail, lost his Dr's license. He lost everything. What benefit would he have had in saying that if it wasn't true? Notice the two people, Kirk and Judith were with him. The two that got the most out of him. They have the answers and some responsibility in this tragic loss. Nothing seems accidental.

She's on the plane when just out the blue, just go unconscious, while she's having dinner with him. He only weighed 112 pds. The whole thing is hard to believe, she was so clueless to what was going on. She has no clue about addiction. Addiction controls you, she should of did what ever she could to save him. Look what Prince did for her. What about his fans, who loved him, invested in him, who would of fought to save him. Does privacy mean "let them overdose". He ( Prince) was nodding out, I am sure he was awake and talking after two shots of Narcan. This was the beginning of the end and as we know now he was far from “fine.”

he may have had a seizure,and was not aware he had them,she never saw him take anything.but if he had an illnes he did not need to be flying and the chef admitted he was ill prior to death.and did not need to be flying.he needed a no person working for him and let him know that no meant no and he meant to much to people for it to end the way it did.

Kirk Johnson, again I can't grasp why this BUM yes I said it was still a permanent park of Prince's Entourage. He was nothing more than a backup dancer since the eighties 4 Prince and nothing more. Suspicious that this dude was last seen with Prince going to Walgreens the day b4 he died. He has been fighting addiction also... Yet he was nowhere 2 be found APRIL 21ST!!

Kirk Johnson is actually an excellent drummer who has performed with Prince on numerous occasions. Feel free to still hate the guy, but at least be accurate about what his role in Prince's musical life was.

Kirk was Prince's good friend and played drums with him frequently, including early this year. He was not "just a back-up dancer" as the original poster asserted.

In today's world "anything"goes as long as all parties involved are consensual. Back then things were a lot different but you cant judge a persons sexuality by his wardrobe or mannerisms & behavior.
