Thanks for the memories. I lived in the Brunswick/St. Simons area for 35 years, three of those those were on the “Island”, near the village. During your visit, I hope you and your family visited the historical sites.

Love the beach. Looks like a pretty place. That lighthouse is amazing. Love the pier. On to the ice cream shop. Oh yeah. Very nice hotel. Very well setup. Hope y'all had a great day at the beach.
Great video. I love the island. I spend a lot of time there. Be careful digging deep holes on the beach during turtle nesting season unless you fill them in afterwards. They, or the hatchlings can get trapped.
I got to visit recently since I was staying at a hotel over in Brunswick and it was beautiful. I went to both the World War II Museum and got to also walk up the St Simons Lighthouse. Pretty surreal experience. Neptune Park was also very nice. 🎉 Been in GA for years but never visited St Simons or Jekyll Island until now! Very glad I did.
What a great experience that must have been!! Georgians are so lucky because there is mountain and beach ! Brunswick Is a neat town! They have all the boats abs the lovers tree. Sounds like you had a great trip!
I didn't King and Prince had a diner, we're gonna have to go so I try out those shrimp and grits. Maybe going back on Thanksgiving weekend. Only ones in diner, how'd ya manage that? Thanks for sharing.
We went super early ♡ they had just opened for dinner lol. I'll ve honest, I've had better flavor in shrimp and grits- but the atmosphere was great and it admitted us to enjoy the property a bit. ;)

Awesome review of St. Simons, The Pier area looked really relaxing and peaceful. We're a little familiar with St. Simons but didn't know you could see whales and dolphins there. Great review!

Your littlest saying she will eat it all was funny. I think I would eat it all also. The sunset hours on the ocean were great views.

We have only seen dolphins on jekyll but they say this is also a great spot for catching glimpses of them playing at sunset ♡
