The Slaws are enjoying their early summer holiday in Spain in their Hobby motorhome Helga, with their two Lhasa Apso dogs Billy and Jessie.
They are staying at Camping La Gaviote in Sant Pere Pescador on the Bay of Roses.

Have you tried those pest brackets? They are infused with citronella. We've just used them in Spain and we didn't get bitten!! Game changer! That beach is lush. Aw slaw isn't a wally!!! It's always good to check you've got your tackle before you travel!! Oo that's steak looks good. Beautiful sunset! What a lovely day. Oh no, poor Mrs S - bad times!! Thanks you two! It was a lovely holiday. Just a couple of setbacks 🤣 We used the Pestects bracelets on our last holiday in Germany and didn’t get bitten until the last night and I think they’d lost their potency by then. We’ll deffo use them again! Thanks for watching 🚍☀️

I laughed seeing you both out running; my immediate thought was that if my wife were still alive she would have told you to sit down until the feeling had passed! She could never understand why I tried to run 5 days a week simply because it made my Army physical test so much easier.
Hope that Mrs Slaw regains all of her energy very quickly and that you are able to properly enjoy the remainder of your holiday.

Having just come back from touring France 🇫🇷.
There just seems to be so many cables to remember to take theses days
So I have doubled up on every thing and left one set in the motorhome

I have become allergic to shellfish recently. ( I’m 60 and eaten and loved seafood all my life) Exactly the same scenario, took twice for me to be convinced it hadn’t been food poisoning. 💙

Me and my daughter are the same, we can eat cold prawns but not hot in dishes we think it’s strange but we found out the same way as you hop your feelings better and loving the videos of your holiday ❤xx

Poor Mrs Slaw, the same thing happened to me recently on a holiday to Scotland and a bowl of muscles. Nothing to do with the restaurant, more that I now seem to be intolerant to shelfish. Hope you felt better soon after.

Glad Spain is proving so fabulous & hope Mrs S is fully recovered. I was inspired to install a HUD unit in our MH having seen how useful yours is. Just arrived back from couple of weeks in France & had glorious sunshine. When I put on my Polaroid sun specs I couldn't see the reflection of the HUD on the windscreen. What am I missingor doing differently to you?
Hi we always watch you on UA-cam when you edit your trips home and abroad.Find you both very interesting with all your tips and advice.In particular when you said about red meat effects your stomach when ladies are a certain age.I’ve had trouble with my stomach and couldn’t narrow down what I was eating.I’ve decided not to eat beef and my stomach is a lot better.Thankyou for that.

We always carry in our med pack plenty of electrolytes sachets Dioralyte...nothing worse than getting the seafood trots.
We have a good medical kit too with rehydration sachets 👍🏻

Quick question do you use Sat Nav or Maps if you do non toll roads through France
We have our sat nav set for non tolls but it sometimes seems to take us through towns villages instead of the quick root round them

Hi Stephen, Mrs Slaw always plots a route in her road atlas. Sometimes we choose to do a small part of péage (toll road) to avoid a huge diversion, such as Millau. It’s always good to look at a map so you have an idea of the roads you will take so you can make an informed decision. Have a fantastic trip! 🚍☀️

Hi Linda, each WAW vlog shows you where we stayed. We did a mix of free park ups, pub stops and campsites. Searchforsites is a great app! 🚍☀️

I’d be interested to know how you got on with DHL, I forgot to bring the keys to my mobility scooter, got daughter to get them and send via DHL on Monday (to cut a long story short) by the time we arrived at lake Garda on Wednesday we had been informed that they were at Milan customs, after several emails it was now Friday we don’t deliver weekends, Monday phone call to DHL customer services, be with you tomorrow, Tuesday General strike, no delivery be with tomorrow, Wednesday 3pm sorry sir your keys are in Madrid, by the time we eventually got the keys Thursday lunchtime they’d been to Madrid then to Brussels before getting back to Milan, the keys have done more miles than we have.
Hope you had a better experience than us.
