Level 4 in Russia is similar to NIJ lvl3
Can the modernenized version shoot safely with out the supressor? I read that while the old ones could shoot, it can damage the rifle. I always loved the design. Elegant and slim. A real beauty

Seems miss translation they might be means russian BR 4 armour level not US one due to that steel too thin compare to equivalent steel thickness for NIJ 4

Modernization seems to amount to “stick a picatinny rail on it” but it works, if the base rifle does.
I Fell in love with Th As-Val back in Bf3 on how it came suppressed the was I sounds (I called it the rattle snake) And how versatile it was if you know how to use it.shredded full auto in cqb And the acc In mid range burst firing and longer ranges tap firing can reach out and kill fast.
And this make me happy to see it get love shit if these are available to plublic collectors I'd buy and place it with my p90.

Приклад телескопический будет значительно тяжелей. Прицелы любые ставь на планки Пикатинни. Зачем ещё что-то облегчать, если и так очень мало весит - вместе с глушителем лишь 2,5 кг?

Short: Make it reliably work in the harshest conditions. That´s basicly russian gun design.. I mean it atleast doesn´t need to be drowned in oil as soon as it gets a bit chilly outside unlike some "good looking" guns.
