    I will definitely play around with it as soon as I can get my hands on the vision although I wonder if it's possible to build XR apps for the device using webxr so the users don't have to download and install an app, that would unlock the true potential of the apple vision pro imho

      I would love an Age of Empires like game, but set in AR set on my table top. City Skylines on my table would blow me away. Those would have to use a volume so the player can "scroll" across the land on the table top.

    Do you have any idea, where should I focus as a UX/Product designer? What tools should I learn for prototyping apps? Unity?

      Yes, Unity is always and will definitely always be a great skill to have, for UX design, game development and programming. As a designer I would probably also look at Figma/Bezel and other such prototyping tools!

    Can you develop for VisionOS with the Unity personal package?

      Yes! But make sure you have signed up to the Beta program for Polyspatial: create.unity.com/spatial

    What do you mean by "you'll need a PC with macOS to run simulator"?
    Will mac laptops won't work?

      A mac laptop is a PC with MacOS. PCs with Windows don't work, you can't use Xcode on Windows.

      Yes, absolutely you can. Check out the new Xcode Beta it already ships with visionOS and visionOS simulator!

      @@blackwhalestudio thank you for your reply. One final question… My big concern is access… so I’m wondering if building an XR app on Xcode can be exported to SteamVR… what would be your strategy to reach more people?

      @@wynton921 As long as you build your experience in Unity you technically can build for any device you want. You can build Android packages, Windows builds, Xcode projects and much more! You can develop for Unity on Mac as well as Windows!
      VisionOS support will launch soon as well for Unity!
