Cant recall for sure but the pad is held on with either a torques head or Phillips head screw.....also.....when removing action from the stock watch out for the safety tube as its at an angle.......snapped mine in half after bedding
Ahh man, I've tried to find a CZ527 in 7.62x39 several times, but never have any luck. I want the 527 American version which doesn't have sights like the carbine does.
Just got mine in today but I opted for the 18 inch barrel it makes the balance perfectly on the mag well Shooting Tomorrow It’s definitely a woodsman’s rifle Great video!!
oooH man that's a tough one, because I've had my ruger ranch for about 6 years now and I love that thing. It would be hard to compare the two right now since I've only put about 2 boxes through the CZ, BUT one thing right off the bat is the CZ has a WAAAY better trigger on, that's for sure. The barrel is also 2 inches longer on the CZ, so that could be a slight disadvantage to it. Another thing the ranch has in its favor is that it can use the mini30 mags, so you can easily find 10 or 20 rounders for it and the CZ you are stuck with the 5 rounder. Hmm, this makes me think maybe I should make a video comparing the two in the future.
I got this rifle and went to the range to zero it and i was uanble to. I mounted a bushnell banner 3x9x40 which was previously on henry 30 30 and as much as i tried to sight it in the rifle just kept shooting low i went like 20 clicks up and the point of impact wouldn't change much just an inch. And that was only at 25 yards that is how i isually zero my rifles i start at 25 then 50 and then finish at 100 but this rifle just kept shooting loke 8 inches low. I'm so disappointed that i don't know if i will sell it or send it back to CZ. I bought this rifle to use it as a plinker since i have plenty of 7.62x39 but i would also take it hunting. Ammo used was norma brass case and wolf steel case that i have had stocked for a few years and decide to shoot some of it now.
Sounds like a scope issue. I would try and change that and see if it fixes the problem. I think the primary arms that I have on this one is on sale right now for like ninety dollars.
@@TheHooliganOutdoors i will try another scope to see if it fixes the problem. I also bought a bore sighter. I like the rifle i hope i can make it right otherwise is going back to CZ.
@@TheHooliganOutdoors update. I've tried a different scope this time a vortex crossfire 2 and the issue remains. I gave up on this rifle I'm sending it back. Both scopes that i've tried have been previously used on more than one rifle each and were always zeroed with no problems. There is a problem with this rifle. I have shoot 3 boxes of ammo and it keeps shooting low. I have never seen anything like this on a brand new gun. I hope CZ won't take too long to fix it. What a dissapointment i had high expectations with this rifle. CZ is a great brand i hope they can fix this gun or send me a new one.
@marcelarmas5817 that's really weird. How low is it shooting? Also are you turning your elevation knob, the top one, counter clockwise, to the left, when you adjust it?
@@TheHooliganOutdoors is shooting about 6 to 8 inches low. I was turning the elevation in the up position and no matter how many clicks the point of impact wouldn't change. Windage was right only about an inch to the right but i was more concerned with elevation i didn't touch windage at all. First i was shooting with a bipod then i removed the bipod and used a shooting rest and the results were the same.
Hovering around the 1moa range at 100yds is pretty impressive with a x39 cartridge. Well placed shots at 300yds. Nice!
Thanks Andy, now I just gotta decide if I want to take this rifle, one of my 308's or the 338 lapua for opening day tomorrow! lol

Very nice. About the same as my CZ 527 in 7.62X39

Great video!!
Nice! It's a great rifle. What scope do you plan to put on it?
Not bad at all good luck with The Rifle.
Yes sir, I can probably get those groups even a little smaller with handloads.
Might have to pick one up. Not sure if it would shoot better then a vz58 though. They do surprisingly well with surplus.
You can remove the butt pad........look for a very small razor slit a little below center ....pad is held on with one long screw
How does this rifle compare to the Ruger American in the same caliber?

And what about the Howa 1500 mini
Which do you prefer, this CZ 600 or the Gen 2 Ruger Ranch? They both like the Hornady. Looks like the CZ likes the PPU a little better than the Ruger.
Hard to say right now, haven't had enough time with them just yet, but I will say the cz has a waaay better trigger.
Would you say the x39 has enough umph at 300?
Are you still reloading for the x39?
Yea but I haven't tried any for this rifle yet. I usually like to find out what factory ammo a rifle likes and have some on hand, just in case.
I duck tape rolls of pennies to add weight to stock. 100 pennies is .55 pounds give or take. Put in ziploc bag is you want to eliminate movement.
Ahh that's a really good idea, I think I'll try that. Thanks! 👍
Try 3 shot groups and let the barrel cool between shots.
Probably a good idea, I may try that with the ppu. First 3 wernt to bad and then the next 2 were off.
Very good
Thank you sir!
Looks like it feeds better than the 527
Just bought the lux in 307🏆👍
Please tell the people that there's a recoil on the rifle
