I agree. When my brother passed, I provided a space for my mother to release the pain. I've never heard a sound like the one she let out. We're starting 2023 without him. Since his passing there's been 3 more deaths in our family. I've been making sure everyone is good and haven't grieved yet and I'm bracing for it.

That was the worst feeling in my life! I actually had to get dressed to go and bury my child. People will never know the pain that you feel. This is my final time to see my child physically, to touch him etc! God is with you Rickey and Brandon’s Mom. At least you two have each other, my son’s father is in prison, they allowed him to come but it had to be prior to everyone else! I’ve been going through this alone. Thank you for your documentaries Rickey Smiley. Grieving was something I never knew I would have to process on my own. I had to lay a loved one to rest all by myself. I felt so all alone, confused and numb. It felt like I was in a dark hole trying to find my way. Depression led me to close myself off from family and friends. This eventually lead me to having a nervous breakdown. I'm finally on the road to recovery from a nervous breakdown. We will never heal from losing a loved one but we most certainly can cope through others journey's and the advice they share that helped them get through the tough times. Never shut yourself off from the world, WE need voices like YOURS. We are praying for you and your family. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted"🙏🏾

That was the worst feeling in my life! I actually had to get dressed to go and bury my child. People will never know the pain that you feel. This is my final time to see my child physically, to touch him etc! God is with you Rickey and Brandon’s Mom. At least you two have each other, my son’s father is in prison, they allowed him to come but it had to be prior to everyone else! I’ve been going through this alone. Thank you for your documentaries Rickey Smiley. Grieving was something I never knew I would have to process on my own. I had to lay a loved one to rest all by myself. I felt so all alone, confused and numb. It felt like I was in a dark hole trying to find my way. Depression led me to close myself off from family and friends. This eventually lead me to having a nervous breakdown. I'm finally on the road to recovery from a nervous breakdown. We will never heal from losing a loved one but we most certainly can cope through others journey's and the advice they share that helped them get through the tough times. Never shut yourself off from the world, WE need voices like YOURS. We are praying for you and your family. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted"🙏🏾

You are such an amazing father and you love with your entire heart and you've had so much to do all week long, you had to stay focused. Now that you've taken care of everything, it hit you like a ton of bricks. You don't have to be so strong and it's OK if you do have a breakdown, or 2, or 20, or 100. Do it to maintain your sanity. That's that pure unadulterated love that's tugging at your heart strings right now. The thought that you won't see him again till God calls you home, just sunk in.
