I loved how real and authentic this video is (and you are!). Really fun to watch, like hanging with a friend. Wishing you a happy, healthy rest of 2024!
Thank you so much. I need to stop getting in my head and deciding for myself what people do and don’t want to see. I need to just upload the video and go based off of the views and the comments. Even though this video hasn’t gotten many views all the views that has gone seem to be liking this form of content.
I loved your vlog and the candid conversation. Thanks for sharing. Sending love and support for your journey in 2025. I hope it brings you the joy you’re seeking. 🥰
Thank you for sharing a bit into your life. I loved that your kids hung out with you while you cooked. It goes to show what a good mom you are that they wanted to be around you. Your recipe looks great and easy to make. Thanks for sharing.
Please give yourself grace. We all make decisions daily. Some great but some we realize we would have made a different decision hindsight (discernment.) The fact that you're even reflecting on your past decisions is good. It may seem like common sense. But not everyone does that. There are plenty of people that do the same things over and over expecting a different result. It's not a mistake. We are all imperfect. Pretty much everything we do could be considered a mistake as we evolve and grow with time. A different perspective is to see it as a life lesson resulting from a decision that we made that God is allowing to happen because He loves us. He wants us to have these experiences not only for us to grow and but to also bring us closer to Him. I'm not writing this to take away from your conviction. Just a reminder that conviction is different from condemnation and to give yourself the grace you would otherwise give to someone else.💕
Thank you. I appreciate you sharing your view and perspective. I’m not beating myself up too hard. I can’t change the past but I can try to make better decisions going forward.
Good morning ☀️. You guys have been requesting vlogs and I haven’t done many yet. I don’t live a glamorous life, I don’t do fun things. I’m a busy working mom and I didn’t think I had anything worth watching to share. I decided that you guys can make that decision. I’ll film bits of my day to day life and if you guys want to see it you can, if you don’t then you’ll just skip the video. I had a lot of fun filming this casual vlog, much more fun then I thought I would. I hope you enjoy it.
I enjoyed this video and share the same sentiment on some goals for next year and being too lax this year. Here’s to better and more deliberate habits for us in 2025!
Really enjoyed this casual side of you! Bacon has to be crispy, my daughter high disagrees lol. We do it in the oven too but on foil and don't drain it but remove it right away. Best part is not cleaning splatters off of the stove. Love homemade egg bites they reheat so good. And I LOVE NYX butter gloss more than Chanel or Dior gloss, it is so good! I just got a Guy Fiere (sp?) titanium pan that needed seasoning and I was a bit confused since it wasn't cast iron but so far so good, glad you enjoy your new ones!
Hi Melissa, Anyone who can cook multiple meals for 8 everyday of every year is a super HERO, in my opinion! Im a mom of 3 grown kids myself and it was hard work and expensive to boot!! This was a fun cooking video and its great to get to know you better in a more natural setting of your own home. I admire how you keep your kitchen clean as you go. I can seldom do that!Yummy egg muffins!!! Thx for sharing with us!!
Thank you so much. I actually came from a large family, 11 siblings, so it feels normal to me. I have a hard time cooking in small quantities 🤣. Clutter actually gives me anxiety, so I’ve learned in all aspects of life to clean the clutter/mess as I go.
I THOROUGHLY enjoy seeing you in your more toned down and relaxed setting!!! You’re always so put together on your posts and videos and this was like we were your friends hanging out at the house. It felt like we were in the kitchen watching you cook. This was really good. I would love to see your work out routine. You talk about it often and I know you got your Graceful as a work and gym bag. Anyway, I hate to hear you’ve been depressed this year. You give so much and I’m praying next year you’re able to pour more into you. You are very special to us in the handbag community. 🩷🩷🩷
Thank you Liz. I love that you felt like you were right there with me in the kitchen. How fun would that be! I don’t have much of a routine at this point. I use to work out daily, now I mostly walk on an incline. I’ve lost all confidence in my physical ability over the last couple of years.
@ keep in mind Melissa you do a LOT for your family and work. AND UA-cam!!!! I wouldn’t be so hard on you! I think you sell yourself short. You may not be doing as much as you WANT but you’re doing a LOT!!!! More than most of us.
Thank you so much for sharing this video and being so open with us. It takes a lot of courage to reflect on the harder parts of life, and I hope you’re taking it easy on yourself-many of us have been there this year, too. Overindulging can be a way of coping, and it sounds like you’re giving yourself the space to reset and move forward in 2025 with intention. As for the pots and pans, ‘seasoning’ them helps create a nonstick layer and protects the surface, making them last longer! Basically, when you heat the oil, it bonds with the surface of the pan and creates a smoother cooking experience. Wishing you all the best with both your new cookware and your journey into the new year! ❤
Thank you for sharing that with me Ebony. I knew it had something to do with protecting the pan I just wasn’t sure how. You explained it perfectly. 2024 was very hard, I lost my oldest brother, we were in & out of court for things I can’t talk about on the internet, our financial expenses doubled ect…. 2025 has to look different. I need to pull myself out of this funk and focus on my goals. I need to exercise to help with my depression. I need to eat healthy so I have more energy. Shopping isn’t serving me, I need to build my savings and do my home improvements instead of shopping.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade You’ve been through so much this year-please allow yourself some grace as you navigate everything. Grief and stress take such a toll, and it’s okay to take small steps toward healing. You’re stronger than you think, and I know 2025 will be a better year for you! Sending love your way! 🤗
I really enjoy the vlog style videos. It’s a fun change. I believe if you are cooking a lot it should be fun. Just like carrying a beautiful handbag, cooking with good tools is special too ❤
Yay a vlog! I find it so endearing to virtually hang out with you doing everyday things ❤ I think seasoning with oil fills the pores of the pan and creates a protective layer (but 🤷🏻♀️)
I was sadly about to unsubsribe from this channel as much as I loved it. Only because Im trying to save money. And the videos on luxury bags are no longer for me. I'm not into bags that cost that much money anymore. The bags I am most into are Coach and its not alot of Coach bags on your channel. BUT this vlog made me change my mind about leaving this channel. I love the new direction you are taking this channel. A more laidback relatable honest approach. I love it❤

Hi Melissa. I really enjoyed this vlog. Keep up the good work. I really love batch cooking too. I thinks it’s more economic. Those crustless quiches look delicious. I love making them. They’re great for using up leftovers. Thank you for sharing. 💫
