I agree with you Vince that it isn't enough to just be a video editor or animator because there are AI tools or software that will do some of the basic or redundant/repetitive works we do.
It gives us a sense of learning more and utilising AI to our biggest advantage in every sphere. In fact, we will need AI in major niches to speed up our workflow.
At this stage, age, level, exposure and experience, we should be able to contribute our quota beyond cut and join videos, effects, transitions etc by learning sales, marketing, copywriting and digital marketing.
The future will require more from us and we should be ready to grab the opportunity to grow and evolve rapidly alongside the menace or blessings (it depends on the side of the divide you belong to) of AI.
All in all, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will not replace you as a creative, but someone or those who use it will replace you if you don't embrace it.
