original is allways better, idk why yall are trying to recreate something so perfect. its like trying to remake the twinkie, its not going to be equal or better, it will be worse just saying i prefer the original but this was good to a thumbs up for trying!
Julie, I think musicians love to play music that means something to them. I perform Chopin and Rachmaninoff in concerts around the world. Obviously I cannot play their music as well as they did, but still I enjoy the process of performing their great works. I am not attempting to play Chopin or Rachmaninoff's music better than they did (they were phenomenal live performers) but playing their music in front of audiences is an experience of sharing and communicating and honoring a work of art that has meaning to both the performer and the audience.
i get that, but trying to change it? well, that's a different thing. they are trying to make changes to the heroes songs by adding opera and different musical instruments. anyway love the original and even tho homm4 sucked, u still made it good w the music. ps for the gameing concert thingy, you should try to play some of the originals like fortress theme from homm3, or grasslands from homm4, u dont have to find the same singers, but same songs is what we all love. also i saw a video where you try to tell people about the homm series in music so you jumble all the games into 1 song. dont agree w that. instead fortress theme would have done nice. 1 last thing why did the homm series use necroplis ending from homm3 in homm7 wizard theme?

Literally everyone that I know played it and most of the people still are (me included). Thank you for bringing tears to my eyes with this theme.
I love it, playing heroes 3 since from the beginning...love Rampart my No. 1, so nostalgic...so young and a cought up into it, it was me, and the Heroes 3 on a lazy saturday afternoon, starting a XXL map Myth & Legend with the old Greec Gods playing as the pink Rampart player:)) wonderfull
I mean, the game is jank as hell and there are numerous text and gameplay bugs (hypnosis anyone?). Most matches are effectively over after one or two hero battles, but the actual win con can take over an hour to actually achieve after you have already effectively won the game.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game, and there hasn't been a Heroes of M&M like it since, but it definitely has issues.
Kinda wish that Ubi would stop trying to make 3D models work and go back to sprites...

One of my first games, nostalgia is killing me. I've always played Rampart when I could, my preference for nature, elven factions carried on to other games and movies.

Awesome performance as always. I wonder how long it can take for ya'll to get a Heroes III Town Theme to perform at this level. Can't wait for the Stronghold theme. It's my favorite after the Necropolis theme. :D

Diego Ortega This game doesn't need remake. It ia perfect as it is, in graphic deasign and so on (even creatures and castles with HotA version), but it couls be nice, if we could choose which version we want to listen: original or some fanmade (like Heroes Orchestra)

One thing I confused about. Footage from heroes, where aside from Rampart stands some dark tower. I don't remember such buildings from HoMM 3. Is it form non-officinal 3.58 version?
It is from Horn of the Abyss modification :D It's more balanced than WOG and I really recommend you to play it ! : D It also adds one new Castle - Cove, that perfecttly fits the climate of Heroes 3 ! :D

Rampart was always my favorite theme. Greetings from Argentina. Can i ask what language they are singing?
Greetings Danneskjöld! The language that we sing are a constructed language I made up, to make it sound like what Elves would sing. It is a most methaphorical one, so the translations are usually much longer than the original.
Very well achieved that beginning with the theme, excellent subject in my opinion is very reassuring theme Rampart theme in relation to other themes of Heroes 3, achieved its sense of peace and correlated. I am eager to listen to the StrongHold theme with the orchestra, which is almost like a Heroes 3 music logo, many of which may coincide with me, but if I remember correctly, the Demo version of this game brought StrongHold music in all the castles by default, I think that this popularized it even more for the oldest jajajaja. I really hope more of these issues.

A game that has been made in 1999, has been remade into HD by fans as well as by Ubisoft, it's a nostalgia for many people and a good stand-alone game as well, and now, in the year 2018, a orchestra actually decided to remake the soundtracks for this game. It's astonishing. God bless you for making this.

Wasza interpretacja jest impresywna jak i nostalgiczna (Nie jest może taka sama jak ten stary soundtrack do którego mam lekki sentyment), ale nie wyklucza to faktu, że odwaliliście świetny kawał roboty. Czekam na to, aż zrobicie wszystkie zamki z Heroes 2 podstawki i The Price of Loyality :D

Amazing! My fav theme's probably fortress or inferno (probably the two worst towns...) and then stronghold's also cool. I've done loads of arrangements of the Heroes themes on Musescore which turned out really well!

Majestic theme for majestic town.
Hmmm the track is very beautiful but that definitely is not the Rampart theme xD I mean I love it, it's great, but although I played this game for 15 years I would never recognise it unless someone would told me the title. I prefer when you stick to the original like with the Tower. Remastered track > New composition in my humble opinion.
Hello and thank you for your feedback on this issue. It is a very expected reaction on an arrangement of course:)
Let me explain my viewpoint on this.
I believe, there are a few ways to arrange a music:
1- Do it exactly same, but add some instruments, so you can call it an arrangement.
2- Add a few details and it is done. I believe your remastered track would fit with this one.
3- Do it in the way you have perceived it in time. Since it is a process. It won't stay the same way, within the time period you started and kept on listening to as music.
With the *exception* of some deep reasons for fidelity to the original, I don't see a point to playing the same music and calling it an arrangement. The original is already there, and I am perfectly sure, someone made a re-recording of this, or will do.
ALSO,
amusingly contrary to popular belief, this does not occur due to not knowing the music. The reason for a different sounding arrangement usually is -at least on my account, listening to this music in abundance.
Let me tell why.
When I first met this game, it was 2005. I was on my first university and my classmate introduced me to Shadow of Death. This game has some part in my longer graduation period.
Anyway, I would play rampart, tower and inferno mostly. But what rampart's music especially did was, to trigger my imagination. I would add vocal lines to the original in my head. Sing lines on it unconsciously. Mostly different ones each time, and some would stick with me. You can prove this, if you want, by singing these melodies on top of the original. You'll see that they sit comfortably, because the foundation of the original is already in there, to support everything:)
I would not betray years of memories this music gave me. This is how I see this music.)
In the years to come, combined with the past, there will be hundreds of arrangements upon the original version of this beautiful track, rampart. So many of them will be the same as the original. Some will be slightly different.
It will be better or worse than mine. It will never be the same, that I can gladly guarantee.
This is how I leave a trace. Knowing that I will never make *everyone* happy, I prefered to make myself happy first.
Popieram autora pierwszego komentarza. Zastąpienie wysokich, japońskopodobnych dźwięków chórami uczyniło ten utwór bardzo melancholijnym. Bliżej mu teraz do Rezerwatu z 4 niż Bastionu. Do mnie dużo bardziej przemawia oryginalne, relaksujące brzmienie, które kojarzy mi się z wędrówkami po zielonych górach. Wasza wersja jest trochę jak ktoś, kto chciał zobaczyć Karkonosze, ale może je oglądać tylko przez okno, bo zamknęli go w świątyni Wang.
Caglar, I appreciate your decision and your courage, however I hope to hear one day more faithful version of Rampart Theme from Heroes Orchestra as well, because this theme is just too important for me to be satisfied with just your arrangement.

Where lyrics come from? Only Caglar Sahin Wikipedia knows is a football player, so I cant find anything about author. What is original lyrics language?
Heheh:) The funny thing is, that football player isn't even famous. Feels bad.. :D Anyway, the lyrics are not in a conventional langauage, but it is a constructed one that I made up, to emulate an elven style. It has a few established structral rules, but nothing you can make daily conversation with:) And thank you very much for your interest!

But, damn - like this, I imagined a voice arrangement myself. Because I've listened to the original billions of times, and changed notes in this version-believe me, it's great !! This is genius ! Continue in the same spirit ! You are great fellows!
