Thanks for watching! I just noticed that I'm probably pronouncing 'Wang' wrong. 'Jackson' is such an American name that I automatically also pronounced his last name in an accent. Sorry 😅

I can tell you are really speechless. It's my thought as well. fyi. I don't really like EXO obsession. as it was too busy and confusing for me. But this clip is beautifully done.
It’s a love story of a General with a forbidden love - princess. He was murdered or punished for the love and buried in an unmarked grave. His loyal personal guards found his grave and revived him draining them of chi/energy. Upon revive the general learns of his fate and the fate of his loved one and searches for her body. Also red is worn on the wedding day, maybe she refused to marry the king and was killed. His loyal men then found the princess grave and gave up life so he and his loved on can reunite. But the general is a man of high morals and standing, even in life or death our love is not allowed in this time. He canceled the summons to hold her for eternity because “ there is a 100 ways to leave a lover” no were on this world/time can they live happily together. Only in eternal sleep can he be with her.
Jackson was born in Hong Kong and studied in American International School. He is fluent in English, Korean and other languages. He was a sabre fencer for Hong Kong's fencing team and was ranked eleventh in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and won first place at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in 2011. After passing a music audition, he moved to Seoul, South Korea in July 2011 to pursue a career in K-pop. This young man has many talents he can sing, rap, dance, compose song and choreograph all his own videos.
Just because you were so impressed by the music video I thought I would mention that the director Daniel Cloud Campos is a legendary dancer and creative genius. He retired young to pursue filmmaking but still is one of the most talented dancers you'll ever see and considered one of the all time great breakdancers. I strongly recommend watching his short "The Music Box"!

@@reaKtpop It's a sad and romantic story.The young general went to a war and died on the battlefield.His wife,the princess,heard the news and gone too, with a broken heart. On the Chinese Halloween festival,four servants of the general rose him up from the dead and got him to meet with his wife,and then they can be buried together.That is how a prefect love should be end in Chinese Culture.

The director, Daniel "Cloud" Campos, is not only a director. He's a musician and my personal favorite B-Boy of all time. Watch Step Up 3, he's the main dancer for the antagonist dance crew, "Kid Darkness". Finalist for Red Bull BC One back in 09. The man is a TALENTED individual.

The director is listed in the description of 100 ways, I think you missed it. For Pretty Please, Oxygen, etc the credits are on the actual video itself. Jackson never forgets to give people credit. He always talks on social media about the people who work with him. He's such a nice guy.

Jackson said in a video: the story is about a soldier who died because the prince also loved the same woman so Jackson's faithful soldiers resurrected him so he could resurrect his beloved so they were buried in the same tomb. He was buried in a place far from his beloved's tomb. In the end they went to the same tomb

Finally, one reaction that mentions that cut. For me it was the only thing that I didn't like in the video. It was like noticing a fly on a white wall. Otherwise, they did an amazing job for a MV that has only 2-3 stages. Great hand choreography, nice song, and even the acting when the woman appears and Jackson hesitates.

Actually the story of the video goes like this. those are TAOIST HAND/FINGER GESTURE in TAOISM,. The four dancers are soldier/guard of the general (JACKSON), they summoned JACKSON from the grave. jackson find the grave of his deceased love, the woman in the video, those guards sacrifice theirselves to help the general to summoned the woman to be with him again and die together in the name of love. Its a SAD LOVE TALE in CHINA.
