Dam nice. Be interesting how tight the water seal is. Like that black gas tank. I got 126 kms (73miles) on a tank with my 850 xt 2021. Pushed it pretty hard on the long fire roads. So I figure I can easily get 150 kms(93miles) on one tank with easy cruising.
I figured easy cruising 40-45mph with a bit of higher speed stuff (65mph) and I did about 80 miles like that, my mpg was 18.7mpg. So right at about 100miles per 5.4gal tank of fuel. If im mudding and trail riding then 80 miles would be max on a stock tank of fuel. So the extra 2.5gal could come in handy for long rides. As far as being water tight I haven't tested that out yet....However my main concern would be where the holes in the bottom are for the quick mount knobs to go through... They just drilled a hole in the plastic and dont have any rubber grommit or seal of any kind there, all they include is a washed to put on the bolt to help disperse the downward pressure on the plastic. I took silicone and put around the hole and then placed the washer on top of that and then tightened it down so hopefully that will create a nice watertight seal... As far as the top of the box, im pretty sure the seal on top is really watertight unless you submerge your machine or something. For normal use and using it in a rainstorm i would be extremely confident that the top is 100% waterproof.
@@Temptation_Offroad sounds good. Especially the mpg. With those big tires that's actually pretty good.
@@markbekkers8364 The stock cryptids say they are 30" but measure at 28" actual.... So that probably helps the mileage lol. I'm debating going with 29.5x10 assassinators eventually, but i would only use them for mud rides and keep the cryptids for long trail riding.

Check their website, but i dont believe the renegade has a rear rack like the Outlander does....

Looks like a great box. How are you liking it? Any issues with dust ‘leakage’ or is it sealed up pretty good? I’m not a fan of the low quality Can-Am boxes and want something different. Putting it on a 2023 Outlander Max Limited 1000.
