At 8:52, Customer shorted out the output, which lead to overcurrent situation or shortcircuit situation. I suppose this inverter should have a short circuit protection. Is the over current or shortcircuit protection not able to catch the shortcircuit and turn off the inverter to prevent it from damaging the igbt?
The inverter have a short circuit protection but it differs with manufactures some times it might fail to react quickly enough. it takes millisec to get igbt to fail. i have also experienced this. some inverters reacts quickly but some might fail. especially the low end
