The Davie504 reference was relevant because my curiousity about his headphones led me to research more and more headphones and found WR. They just launched the Q30, curious to see how much they improved them.
My hope is the default tuning is a little less bass oriented but keep the low price. Hard to argue with this price for an ANC can.
I like these headphones but my two cons are that they don't fit on my head properly they fall off and the other is I sometimes get a really loud cracking noise when in wireless mode with anc on
does q20 have steario? also which is better q20 or jbl 600?!
Hi i have Hi res sony earphone, and i use it for listening Classical music and i really like the tuning of sony on those genres. I was wandering if this is a good headphones for classical as i was looking for clear and rich sound quality like my sony hi res earphone.
Could be a nice little pair of headphones for Deejays that can't afford the HD25's
Do they break easily?
You said that no ANC phone is perfect blocking conversations and voices in general. Wich is bad for me because I am searching for a headphone to isolate me from these kinds of noises.
What would you do in my situation? Should I buy a simple ANC phone such as Q20, or a in ear phone, such KZ ZSN Pro?
Any closed back headphone or earphone with music playing will cut out the bulk of external noise. An ANC headphone will do better than a regular headphone, even for background speech etc. But where I think ANC sometimes disappoints people is when they expect to put them on, have nothing playing or have quiet music playing and expect them to cut out *all* noise including speech. Speech is only ever reduced in volume, never cut out.
I used to use my ANC headphones at work with no music playing to dull the office background noise. It gets rid of the aircon completely but you still hear a low mumble from the speech. Turning on some music too, thats gonna pretty much drown everything else out anyway.
I would imagine an IEM would fare better for isolation in general. Although not all IEMs are built the same. If you want the ultimate isolation you can combine IEMs and ANC headphones but that might be overkill :P
Great review!!! Surprised to see your review on these ones as the Life Q30s are out. Surprised that they asked you to review these instead of the new ones. Is it in your plans actually to review the new ones?
To be fair I've had these on the shelf for a couple of months but it took me a while to get to reviewing them. But yeah I didn't realise the Q30 were due out or I would have pushed these further up my queue. I'll ask if they can send me the Q30 to check out.
@@WheezyTech If you do get round to reviewing them, please eq them and share your settings... they come with an app with presets and also the ability to eq them...
I have one question regarding a user's bad review. Does the microphone work while 3.5mm jack plugged in? A reply from you will be a big help
Yeah it does
So they make a Soundcore Q20+ that’s type-c and give you access to the equalizer app for $10 more.. probs worth it. But those are only $20 less than the Q30’s hmm 🤔
Edit: you’re the first video on the Q20’s with this level of quality that I didn’t skip through, so credit where it’s due.
You should tune it to sound goo😅it has costom eq
Actually it doesn't. At least at the time of this review the Q20 was not supported by the Soundcore app.
