Been watching you for some time … my abs system is completely trashed .. ide like to fix it myself … I’ve called manufacturer of my trailer and they say they no longer carry this model of bendix.. the sensor is the same but plugs are different.. can these be hardwired in or am I to search for a plug adapter in a junk yard
@@pain2174 tough question my friend, I think abs ECU sends a .5 V to sensor, if I recall it’s 2500 ohms. I think you can splice & rewire. But I cannot guarantee you. But you must start proper inspection, turn key on, unplug a sensor , test its resistance it should be 900-2500 ohms, then check the other end of abs wire toward abs ECU. It should be .5 volts. If abs sensor resistance is good, do not replace. If not within range, replace it. If no voltage coming in, either the wire between abs ECU is bad or ECU it’s self has failed. Also, perform trailer abs blink code, before you do anything brother. Turn ignition on for a second, then off for another second, perform twice, your trailer will blink the code, it will tell you exactly what the issue is. Let me know your code if you get it
@@owneroperatorlife4380 Sincerely man. I appreciate the knowledge sharing! And I legitimately was about to leave the spring clip in. I didn’t even know it was in the bag. I was focused on the sensor.

He talked he did not replace the sensor and he advertised tools
Thanks for pointing this out
How much cable does a trailer needs and about how much is the cost
About 5 feet. ....less than $80
